K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Called CSC today	Well its been 112 days for me now and I have called CSC several times atleast 4 times. Two times they told me that they were working on the end of april and maybe it will be a couple of weeks till my case is assighned. The other two times i get we are currently working on feb. for 129f. Why cant they just let us know what they are actually working on? 112 days is starting to get to me as of right now. I hope that my approval is soon. I wonder if the people there actually realize what they are doing to people. Do they really even care. Feeling disappointed today i guess. If you got a RFE Bluesalmon I´m even more sad now..., but on monday I opened a post writing about this and some people told me that sometimes they don´t play so much attention to the size in this part of the journey (some people sent wrong size and they were approved), but they do when you go to the embassy where you´ve to take the correct size when it´s imperative for getting your visa. That´s why we still pray for that... But whatever, if you sent your RFE on september 5, and I suppose to a specific USCIS person who is on your packet...., it should be done in the next week, because the only thing he has to do is check the new sizes and if are correct (sure they are), then approve your petition. I think it will take longer the RFE to arrives to the USCIS than they to approve it. Good luck body!!! My guess is its because you did not write your names and sign on the back. very few people send the correct size with I-129f as its difficult to get that size in most countries. If its close and the face is the correct size its not normally a problem. It looks like it is avaraging around 110 day at the moment for NOA2, but its creeping up more towards 120 for the may folks. i predict most people will be looking at 120 + days soon. WHAT!?!?!?!!?!?!? You have to write your names on the back of the passport pictures?!?!!?!? You're kidding right? yes print names and sign, and maybe date as well Im not sure if my lawyer wrote our names on the back but he did put them in a zip lock bag with our names and social printed on the front attached to the file. In my case i dont think that my fiancees is the right size. They said it is on the shelf to be looked at. The lady was nice and happened to be from the philippines so she gave me all the info she could but nothing new. Its just waiting in a pile on a shelf it could today or two more weeks who knows. I guess at this point its more and more patience. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Once you get the NOA2 Now What to expect	Well my petition was approved on the 28th of september. I received the hard copy in the mail today. The hard copy says it has been sent to the NVC. How long am i looking before it gets to the consulate? Am i going to have to pay anymore fees ? Is the NVC going to send me any forms or things i need to send to them before they send it to the consulate. My lawyer including my affadavit in our original package. He said they may possibly ask for updated info or they can send it straight to the consulate. Also how can i check if the NVC is working on my petition to send it to the consulate in Manilla? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Waiting for a NOA2 from VSC for your I-129F?	Well today i feel very impatient. It has been 105 days and my adjucation date is growing every day on my timeline. Why i dont know. Ive called USCIS three times and they tell me it may be a couple more weeks. Ive been really good about not getting upset so far and i will continue to be positive, but really the only touches that i have had is from the calls i have made. I am positive that this will be the month it would make a nice birthday present. Im not so worried about the petition because i had my lawyer put it together hoping that the money i paid will keep me out of RFE land. Still just the wait is making it uneasy at times. Philippines	Age of consent 18-21	Hey yall, got sort of a complicated situation..   My fiance is 18, just wanting to know a bit of info   So the situation is, both my fiance parents are deceased, she's in a family of 6, the eldest brother is in prison and he is or was the guardian, im not sure how guardianship works, as far as we know he's still the guardian, I dunno if prison would affect that. I think we can get a letter of intent from him and have it signed, im concerned because i've been reading around and I seen a few topics where CFO asked the beneficiarys parents to show up at CFO with her. Will he need to go with her to CFO since she's 18? Im sorta freaking out about this CFO thing.    I just sent the I-129f packet and I know its very early to be worrying about the CFO stage but hey... best be prepared early right? So what do you guys think we should do?    Like I said, I dunno how guardianship works there, is it possible to change guardianship to her aunt whom she lives with? is that a long process? what do we do? Philippines	Question about taxes and Visa	Income is based on GROSS income, so taxes are not a consideration.   So if your gross income meets or exceeds the poverty guideline you are good.   And I hope you mean you sent the I-129F and related documents ...   Whew! that's a relief. Thanks for the info Hank. And yezzir, the guide's on this website have been a life saver. Just received the I-797C NoA form which excites me, the ball is finally rolling.    Hmm, one last question. When I send my fiance the I-134 later on. Since i've only worked part time until recently, what should I send her? Will just pay stubs and that work document "can't remember the name" stating my salary and full time status be enough? Philippines	Question about taxes and Visa	Hey yall,   This is probably a dumb question but here it is. I currently work part time as a pharmacy technician. I just sent the I-129a to the Texas lock box recently because my boss tells me i'll be getting full time status probably around October. So onto my question.   When October gets here I should be working full time and making about $9.75 or $10 a hour because i'm also due a raise in November. So I calculate worse case scenario; making $9.75 an hour, 40 hours a week ""overtime is now allowed where I work"". In a year that will be $20,280. I realize that would be above the 125% poverty level for a household of 2. I'm still stressing out though because I live in North Carolina one of the most heavy taxed states so if you take that 20,280 and subtract taxes from my amount, I guess you could say i'll make somewhere around $17.500-$18.000 real cash. Does USEM look at the taxes or will they just look at my salary on paper? I'm quite confused about that. Also i've been working part-time for years now and my W-2 forms will show i've only made on average about 10k the past few years. Philippines	Scheduling the interview	Hey guys, my fiance just called USEM and told her she can now schedule the interview "we never received the letter yet".. Anyway, I just wanna run some things by with you guys to make sure me and my fiance understand the BPI and scheduling the interview process..   So, from what I understand, my fiance needs to print off the visa form slip, bring that along with her passport and $240 worth of pesos, then she'll be given a receipt?...    Next is we wait about 6-8 hours after that to schedule her interview correct? then I go to the correct website and use the receipt # to schedule her interview?    Am I missing anything and is there anything else I should know? The COs don't often allow petitioners to be apart of the actual interview. Your number is called and "you" walk to the door with chairs to the side of the door to have a seat and wait. The CO knows your husband/financee is there (the prescreener will ask you this and pass it on), but CO really doesn't care so much about the petitioner, because it is "your" interview. You really have to put yourself in the seat of the CO, they are just doing a job and getting through the day like any other employee so unless there is something shaky about the petition or something extremely interesting, they really don't want to complicate "your" interview with a bystander who just might want to talk too much. I would like to accompany my husband on his interview, i mean just be on the vicinity. I had several experiences wherein even just birthday cards will not make it to my family. Just this holiday season, I sent a bunch of xmas cards for my family and my in-laws. ...guess what? all the cards arrived except the card for my parents and my husband! Limits: Lucky Money: $1k/month Xoom: $3k/month Wells Fargo: $3k/day So now I'm trying Xoom and having problems. I tried Citizens bank first, with routing number and account number off my checks, but transaction canceled with no reason. So I contact them and they need to verify my ID with copy of this and that. So ok, I did that, verified my ID, but transactions still canceled. I call up Xoom again asking what the problem is and they said I need to tell my bank to authorize the withdraw. So I call up my bank customer service, and they said go into a local branch to sign authorization. So I go to a local branch, and they are unaware of any papers to sign for authorization. I explained how the websites worked, with routing/account number, etc etc, but my bank insisted that pre-auth is not required if I have the routing and account number. So I asked if there is daily limits? They said no. Went back home and tried my 2nd bank Wells Fargo using checking account routing/account numbers, same problem, withdraw/transfers being rejected. Tried to use Paypal, which is linked to my Citizens Bank and been using that paypal for years now with random ebay shopping. I didn't want to go this route cause its $40-60 fee to send when funds come thru Credit Card or Paypal when transfering from Xoom. But now even Paypal is is flipping out saying that Im spending too much. I hear the post office can offer services, but only up to $2k/day and anything over $1k for single transaction needs paperwork to fill out. I'm not interested in filling out paperwork. I am trying to send a large ($1-3k) at a time. About to start building a house over there for about $10k which might take 3-4 months to build. I assume all this paperwork stuff is ways for the government to find more ways to tax me or something, dunno. Banks and websites getting real paranoid with large amounts of cash. Just same, its not like I'm trying to transfer $100k or anything. Yes, I have more than enough funds in my accounts. My credit cards are used each month, and paid in full, with zero balance again. My credit scores are around 815. What is the problem with using my own cash? Its not like I'm applying for a loan, or lower interest rate. Its cash! I remember long time ago hearing about some bank that has an ATM card that can be used around the world with little or no fee for withdraw. Is that possible? What bank would let me to create an account over here, then maybe FedEx the ATM card to my Filipina so she can withdraw the amount I put in? Are there any other websites that are easy and inexpensive? I'm tired of jumping hoops and paying big fees just for trying to send money. Worse case senario is send more money thru Lucky Money using my credit card and paying the big cash advance fee again, just to get by until I figure this out. Who else sends money to the Philippines?
