DWheels, girl I have been following you through this process. I cant wait to hear CASE COMPLETE for you, then we all can do our praise dance.
RosyG,I agree with you about this website. It has been wonderful being able to converse with people who are in the similar situation as I am, and willing to hold my hand as I go through this process. Having friends who completely understand this process, both the disappointments and victories is a wonderful feeling.

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionPolice report
I also had the same question when I submitted my husbands police record to NVC. I was told that even though the police records expires in three months that it is still valid as long as the police records was submitted to NVC before the expiration date and that another police record will not be needed for the interview.hope this helps

USCIS Service CentersProcessing time

Hi there, I had Vermont and was approved in 34 days, don't lose hope :)

Hah!!! If only we were that lucky.

That 75 days is what NSC is counting when they get these transferred petitions which already sat 8 to 10 months. So yes after they arrive 75 days add that to the 10 months wait. All service centers are at 8 months at best to 12 months to approved I-130  petitions

Great. Thank you for your reply.
It's a little confusing and kind of misleading when looking at the stats posted. Glad I didn't get my hopes up

75 days for what???? for an approval?   dream on....  plan on waiting a long long time

If NSC is gaining any speed it will benefit mostly April, May, Jun, Jul, Sep and Oct 2013 filers.
Since you have filed in Feb 2014, give yourself a good 5 months and then start paying attention to how fast your service centre is moving.
Unfortunately the likeliness of something happening before 5 months is close to zero.

75 days for an approval might be after the petition spent some 6 to 8 months at NBC, then got transferred to NSC or it might be an expedite or a one-off case of fast approval.

So basically the processing timelines are incorrect? Or maybe I'm slow and don't read them correctly?

I'm brand new to this so instead of getting my hopes up I'll just ask..

The processing times seems to have gained some speed. I see that NSC is down to 75 days.
Are these numbers correct? I'm still trying to figure out how this works.
