K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	i was denied the visa at the lagos embassy in Nigeria.	Those classes are not unique to Nigeria. My father, a retired university professor in the US has never used a computer and never will. The books he has written are done long hand. My mother still cannot attach photos to her e-mails while my wife from SEA with only a minimal education knows heaps more about computers than I ever will and schools me regualrly on stuff. My comment was based more on the fact the story seemed like nonsense that based on the fact his fiancee could get on MSN but not yahoo the OP had a friend help register "his" account on msn so when the CO checked into the e-mail address it came back to someone else's name. That sounds more than a little fishy to me. I agree with you. My own email address on yahoo was set up by my sister. I had never any use for the Internet or even an email address until I met my husband. So, when he asked me to open an email account so we could chat, preferably yahoo. I called my sister and asked her to help out and she used MY NAME. And thanks to my husband i became computer literate in a hurry as we became more innovative in our communication. Then we can have more pic ... Regarding the issue of her having kids is cancelled because she can't have kids any more,so she said she wants us to adopt one... so can i just answer the Co mthat my future plan is to get married and always be there for my hubby and to grow old together till we die ...Short and simple!!!!! I I agree with the person who said do not do a mock wedding. As it stands now, from your above discussions, you haven't convinced me as to the validity of your relationship and im not even a co. You should be more certain of your future plans and not ask people what to say, just say the truth and be real. Honesty has a way of showing through. Be realistic in your answers, dont use phrases that will sound so alien to you and raise eyebrows or even seem memorized. I think I overheard certain parts of your interview and I remember being scared and hoping I didn't draw the same lady you did, but I eventually did and it was quick and painless for me Don't mock anything. A court wedding is over in less than 15 minuites, very easy to do. It's basically just signing some papers and it makes you legally married. So no matter how much your fiancée might not want to do a court wedding, it might be the easiest thing for the both of you to do, in order to file the 1-130. Take pictures diring the ceremony. Then after the wedding you can have a tiny reception and take all those pictures you mentioned earlier. I also want to find out from those in Nigeria if my fiancee has to go to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja to stamp some of her documents like birth certificate. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	what kinda birth certificate is needed for K-1 visa interview	You would need the long one. you would need to go to the National population office popularly known as census at Bode thomas in Suru/lere Lagos. It cost about 5k,,it takes a week to get it ready. If you are not in Lagos then you need to find the closest population/census office in your city or town. I know that is not very common but if you did then you could work till you guys get married,and file for AOS. But do not since it is not legal for a K-1 visa holder. Gonna post in t'other forum about this but Parcel Monkey quoted me £200 for a single box!! Admittedly a v heavy box but still struck me as a bit rude... Been at home with the parentals this week going through my stuff in the attic deciding what to take and what not to take...quite tough, as because my parents are separating what I leave behind may not be kept it was a good trip down memory lane though and I'm quite a sentimental soul so I'm keeping all my hundreds of photos - even if they make up most of the weight!! My 'my first haircut' certificate with a lock of my hair from Feb 85 was a particular highlight... Now I cannot sleep because I slept all day. Stupid 24 hours on a plane with no sleep. I will wait a few weeks before jumping into the AOS discussions. I just want to enjoy my time with Jum without the stress of USCIS. Good luck to everyone still waiting to enter the US. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	November 2009 filers	Hey guys, me ish back lol ok, here is my review : Saturday : Flight was kinda long, but watched 3 movies and some food documentary bout pancakes and bacon n eggs lol, and it was ok My POE was Charlotte NC, luckily, 50% of the plane was US citizen, and 40% was old slow foreign frenchies lol, so I run to the "visitor" line, and passed the checking point in less then 10 min. He asked random questions bout my resident country, what i do for work, why am I here and where will I live. He was nice . He kept my passport and took the brown envelope, and gave me a number, number 1 lol. I was the only K1 visa on the plane. But he told me that an officer will come and help me with my luggage, and he never did I went to wait for my luggage. I got my 3 bags and 1 of my 2 boxes in like 10 min, but had to wait 25 min for my last box who came all smashed . but luckily, the tape hold it all together . Then I went to the second checkpoint, pushing my 2 caddies. The guy at the counter called an officer to help me . They saw I was exhausted, so the guy just told me about the 1 time entry and the "get married in less then 90 days", passed my luggage in the scanner. I'm lucky they didn't inspected them, cos I had to sit on my bags to close them lol, if they try to open them, it'll kaboom and my undies will fly all over the airport I was the last one to leave the checking point. If it wasn't for my broken box, the POE would have taken like less then 20 min. My baby was waiting for me and what we did is personal lol My first impression? "OMG, so many restaurants ". like 10 every half a mile. You can never die from hunger in this country lol. Once we got home, Mirra (the rotty) was so excited and started licking me and cuddling with me, Elly (the lab) was a bit shy. licking my feet from time to time. We went out for dinner, I asked for a "small" salad, I got a huge salad, enough for 4 lol. and the "Do you want a box to take home with you" is new to me . Atleast less food wasting. and ... an 8$ tip for a 30$ bill . God we frenchy are cheap on tips. Sunday : jet lag. resting ... grocery and essential shopping. My baby made me his special barbecue cheesy burger. soooo yummy Monday : Went to open a bank account. couldn't. Said I need the SSN application paper at least to do that. Will have to wait 2 weeks till after the wedding. oh well. Went to meet Drue's Sister and family. It was their 13 year wedding anniversay. They invited us out for pizza ... for two 24 inch pizza . omg, how am I gonna loose some weight with all that fattening food . I barely could finish one slice. I started to do 1 hour of Wii fit plus everyday, but I don't think it'll be enough to burn all that lol. We played a word guessing game. I'm surprised I was pretty good at it, even tho I didn't understand the "saying" sentences and some words lol. Was just saying words I heard on TV and they were like "wow, how do you know those words" Tuesday : My baby is back to work. So I'm relaxing. Playing with fetch with the doggies. They both are taking good care of their mommy . Elly gives mommy daily toes and feet care (licking them lol), and Mirra gives mommy daily "120 pounds rotty lap massage" (she thinks she is a lap dog lol). but they are both so cuteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Elly always lays down next to me, follows me around in the house. I just love her. lol, Mirra is snoring right now. She is something lol. I'm just having the most wonderful time ever. My baby is taking so good care of me. Thanks guys for everything Can't wait to read for your wonderful reviews on moving/having your hubbies moving to the US. The civil wedding is in 2 weeks. I have no idea on what to do , what to prepare.
