But, just in case (due to past 2 years income being mostly foreign earned), I did use my father as a joint sponsor. That's good. No problem then. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Questions about checklist from NVC regarding I-864	I'll wait to see what it says, but the overwhelming response I've seen through search is to actually use line 22 on a regular 1040, not line 37. Line 22 would have been 5,000 on mine, instead of the 4,500 I put (line 37), which might be the issue. Some people (as above) say line 37 worked for them, but maybe it just depends on the person reviewing your case.    Anyway, it seems like line 22 is my best bet, but I'll wait to see what the email says. Hopefully it comes tomorrow. I think you're right. I did a little bit of research. If self-employed use line 22. But probably it is 45,000 (even if it's not taxable, still part of your annual income) + 4,500 is what they want to see? Coz you said you're sure that what you put is the AGI. Better yet, wait for the checklist email for you to get a clearer look on what they really want to be done. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Questions about checklist from NVC regarding I-864	I called today to find out that my I-864 (sent May 15th, new version) had been processed but they are sending me back a checklist and that I need to re-do the I-864 because...   1: I "put the wrong information" into Part 3 Item 7 (total number of immigrants this petition is for). I must have left it blank on accident, because I know the answer wouldn't be anything other than ONE!!!   2: I "put the wrong amount" into Part 6 Item 13 a.1 (total income from previous year). This is BULL, because I got them right off of the tax returns themselves which I also sent in! UGH.   Does getting a checklist basically mean "start over" as in re-do the WHOLE I-864 PETITION, or will they only request certain exact things to send back? I should hear from them by email in 1-4 days but I'd like to know... Also, completing the checklist and sending the stuff back, is it processed quickly or will it take another 20 business days??? Also, do they send me back a copy of what I sent in so I can see exactly what I did wrong??? Sorry to hear you got checklisted. Yes, it's basically mean "start over." They'll gonna say wait another 20 business days before it get reviewed again. But with the new forms, NVC is kinda quick in reviewing them. I got checklisted 2x on my AOS. My bad! You need to wait for their email. You need to redo your 9-page AOS. Don't leave any blanks this time. You won't get a copy of your original AOS. Did you not save a soft copy of it? Regarding Part 6 13 a.1 double check coz what they want is the adjusted gross income and not the total annual income. I hope you get the checklist email asap. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	How much time needed to get through customs at the JFK?	based on my experience, i havent spent much time in the immigration and customs. no hassles. i didnt spend 15 minutes inside the airport. maybe i was lucky then. 3 minutes for the passport verification and stamping then went to the secondary room for my I-94 and they did some encoding. about 8 mins or less, i was out of the room and got my luggages and passed the customs without any problem. we even arrived 30 mins. early of our sched arrival. Everytime we call, they say, still in AP an awaiting for clearance... I don't know what clearance is that. Dad need to redo the whole medical exam... Under AP for almost 4 months. When i called the embassy, that's what they told me. But unfortunately, my mother is still on AP. They are in Manila right now to get the passport and do the medical again (for dad). US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	psoriasis and my K1 journey	hello to everyone. i have psoriasis for more than 10 years now. i know it's not a contagious disease but still it bothers me alot. do you think i will have a problem on my medical exam when they learn that i have psoriasis? my fiance asked me to have my general check up so to lessen my worriness and to make sure i'm fit and can pass my medical exam (if time comes)... had my xray, blood test (several parameters), urinalysis, etc... so far no negative results. my fiance is so positive that everything will be fine and that soon i can be with him. i plan to get a medical certificate from my dermatologist prior to my med exam schedule. can psoriasis hinders my dream to be with my one true love and live with him in the US? thanks for any advise/opinion you can give. I got mine, exactly 1 week after my case completion. 2. Call NVC on Monday. They usually do the scheduling either last week or first week of the month. NVC will also send you an email about the interview date. 3. Expect an interview date of 2nd week of August. 4. You can go to SLEC as early as today. You don't need an appt to do the medical. Just make sure you have all the docs/fee needed. 5. Packet 4, not sure about this. In the instructions attached, it states that you should put your income from item number 5 and put it into item number 6.c. Why?! It's already in item number 5, and then in item 10 it asks you to total up 5, 6.c. Etc. but then you would be be totalling it twice? My husband has just left one job and we are using his father as a joint sponsor, which is why in the image we have $90,000 in the total for item number 10. But what I am wondering is where to put his father, in number 6 or number 7? And if we follow the I-864 instructions and put his income (0$) from 5 into 6.c, then do we put his name into 6.a and put SELF Into 6.b? What did you do? Also, anyone been reviewed recently? Queue for August interviews in Manila will start on the first week of July. I see that your parents are already done with their medical.. good for them.. I plan to be at St Lukes on the middle of July, as  I have already finalized my hotel bookings and flight details in Manila 2 weeks ago.. Yeah, as long as you get CCed before July 1, I think there's a big chance you'll get an August interview date. My both parents done with the medical. Dad underwent sputum test though. But when I called them last Monday and yesterday, I was told that my IV packet was entered into their computer on June 6 and both my AOS and IV packets are not yet reviewed..What do you think guys?I have a feeling that our AOS (I-864 new version) has just been reviewed..
