good day everyone! id like to inquire about medical, cfo and interview stuff..im on a k-1 visa...

i will have my medical sched on oct. 20-21...my questions are:

1.) what will i bring with me aside from my PASSPORT, 4 pcs. 2X2 PICTURES WITH WHITE B/GROUND, NOA1, NOA2, NVC, APPT. LETTER(USEM), my XRAY FILM, OTHER MEDICAL RECORDS LIKE VACCINATIONS I had...will i still include my folder with other stuff needed for the interview since i am also planning to attend the CFO seminar in Manila....

2.) for the Interview--how many copies of each identification paper ( NBI, NSO, etc.) will i produce?
And is it ok to have the interview even without the mail /letter from USEM..my fiance called today and already set an appt. for oct. 28 .. perhaps i need ur assurance that the usem letter may not that be of significance since i got an email from USEM for my appt...

3.) for form 157, there is a part there asking for the countries ive entered for the last 10 yrs...will i include the trips i made in asia even if its only for 3 days?? will they check my old passport to verify this info??

so far, these are my queries..i hope u can help me..thanks and god bless u

1) you're ok w/what you have. no need to bring interview reqs, except personal info about your fiance (for the form that you will fill out)

2) one of each is safe, 2 is better (sometimes weird things happen like embassy staff misplacing what you just submitted) you need the interview appt letter (that's your pass to enter the embassy, security will not let you in w/out it)
don't forget to pay for your visa application prior to interview (that's the first thing you will show/submit once inside embassy)

3) yes you need to include each and every country, no matter how long each trip was, otherwise you will be withholding that information from them and result in a lot of "whys" during your interview

thnks zenden for the reply...
i feel relieved now...but about the appointment letter, after fiance called today, USEM ryt away sent me 2 emails informing about my interview date....i printed it out..so i guess that can substitute the packet 3...my luck if packet 3 will arrive days bfore my flight to manila for the interview....but as uve said, appointment / interview letter will do..wish me luck...

god bless

check that you have all you need for the medical to avoid any problems.

good luck and god bless!

PhilippinesMaking It Clear
QUOTE (Arbind.Ariadne @ Oct 7 2009, 10:25 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
The Consulate has finally allowed me to set my interview date. I found that out when I called up this morning. I just have a few questions:

1. I haven't received any letter yet from the Embassy. Will I be asked to mail them some documents (or copies of originals) such as NSO birth certificate, CENOMAR, NBI clearance, etc. prior to the interview date or I will only bring those during my actual interview?

2. My medical exam will be on October 13 (it may take another day to complete that) and the representative from the Visa Information Service said that she could give me October 27 for my interview. I told her that my fiance and I have been planning to attend his sister's wedding on October 24. I requested her to move the date to the earliest possible slot. She dropped the interview date on October 20.

When St. Luke's declares on October 14 that I passed the medical exam, may I just walk-in for an interview on October 16 or call the Visa Information Service and reschedule my interview right away?

Another option... When I follow my interview date, October 20 (it's at 7 a.m. anyway), will the Consulate allow me to pick up the Visa on October 21 instead of letting them mail it to me to Cebu? Do I have to make this arrangement before my interview or during my interview?

I know it's so dragging but it will be such a wonderful time to meet his family for the first time before or at his sister's wedding. My fiance lives in California while his marrying sister resides in New York, his married sister in New Jersey, and his parents are in Pennsylvania.

Your ideas will be greatly appreciated. Meow!

1. yes, you bring everything you have on the interview date, don't send anything

2. why not have your medical earlier than oct 13 if you're in a hurry? the earlier the better, you can go there anytime, no appt needed.

3. no such thing as walk-in interiview, yes you have to call them to reschedule. your medical results do not get sent to the embassy the next day anyway

4. give the CO a good reason to allow you to pick up the visa yourself, some of them do, some don't, but no harm in trying, arrange for it after the interview (after he/she says you passed), not before

Hi!!!Everybody... please give me more information , what type of visa i can file for my sister???????? She don't want fiancee or spouse visa, i know thats the easy way and She's not ready for that...

you can't file any petition for a visa for your sister (or any sibling for that matter). she has to apply for a tourist visa on her own and meet all the requirements to get one.

why do you want her to file for fiancee or spouse visa if she's "not ready/doesn't want" it?

looks like the reverse of things (choose visa type/option then look for a guy to do it for her?...i hope not...

PhilippinesB2 visa situation
QUOTE (neyes_ice @ Oct 27 2009, 03:44 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
good day to all, i would like some advice regarding B2 visa. here is my situation my girlfriend of almost 8 years went to the US almost four years ago, she is on a student visa and currently working on a EB-2 visa. this coming december would be my first time to apply for a B2 visa, my ties to my country is not that strong, i am a freelance architectural designer, i have traveled a few times abroad (SE asia) i can only fund my travel because my parents recently sold some property. i know it would be risky to try at this point but i need to do my part to make our relationship work. the plan is if i can go there before she files for EB-2 visa get married so i can be carried in with the process (if i ever get my B1 approved) +/- comments/advice are welcome. thanks

to get a B1/B2 visa, you have to establish ties back home, -current employment, properties, family.

if you travel a lot because of work and have not violated any visa/immigration laws in any country, that's good too.

but if you apply for a visa and tell the interview the main reason (to make your relationship w/your gf work), it might create a lot of questions as to your real intentions.

since the burden of proof that you will come back after your travel is on you, when you do apply, make sure you focus on this and not bring up the fact that you have other plans.

PhilippinesI-134 Question

Hi everyone,

I have seen many discussions about question number 11 on the I-134 form in the embassy and consulate forum. I am still debating to use the example listed here on visa journey (N/A K1 visa process for permanent residence) or if I should just check I intend. So I wanted to see what others who have already been through the process in Manila, how did you answer that question and did you have any problems?

Thanks for any replies, I just want to make sure my fiancee won't have any problems once at the interview.

Thanks again,

James

Just a question. I look at the USCIS website everyday (like most of us waiting) hoping to see that it has been touched!!!!! .....I was excited when they first got it since it was touched 3 times in the first 9 days they have had it.....Now it has been more than a month since the last time it was touched. I know this is probably normal but I am just getting worried.....Is anyone else haveing the same issue with California service center because I noticed Vermont is still pumping them out within a months time.

it's only been over a month so nothing to worry about (average processing is 3 to 6) no average really. just pray that yours get touched and approved soonest

My case was, after my x-ray, the staff told me to put that protecting cloth we wore on top of the table after which I did but unfortunately it fell and I did not noticed it. The next person to be xrayed was my friend and she said that the staff said that I have no manners and other bad words about me because she thought I put the cloth on the floor. That was just plain rudeness.

i think it's goes both ways, there are patients too who are impatient (complains about lines, waiting etc), demanding (want to be serviced asap as if they're the only ones who woke up early and went to themedical early) and stubborn (do not follow rules, instructions and guidelines)

PhilippinesAdoption IN the Philippines
QUOTE (KJamal99 @ Oct 30 2009, 01:21 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
To Whomever can help Me,

I became friends with a woman in the Philippines a little over 9 years ago now. We are both 28 at the time of this post. Around 5 or 6 years ago, her mother died - leaving her, two younger siblings and their father. Their father travels a lot (extinsively) - looking for work and very rarely finding it - and is gone for weeks to months at a time. Her brother was in his late teens when the mom passed, and is now grown. He, however has had many emotional and substance abuse problems stemming from the loss of his mother. Their young sister was only 5 (now 11), and my friend has essentially raised the girl since their mom passed - they are, quite literally, attached at the hip now. Five years later, her dad is remarried, but the only gainfully employed person in the household is my friend. By this, I mean to show you three things:

- We are both 17 years older than the sister (and I turn 29 in January)
- My friend has unofficially been her sister's primary guardian for at least the last 5 years - we believe this trumps my adoptability as I don't meet the residency requirement, plus my friend is an immediate blood relative (same parents)
- My friend is the one who bears the financial responsibility of supporting the family - dad and new wife cannot find employment, brother has no desire to work.
> Thus "the sole or surviving parent is incapable of providing the child with proper care" both financially, and pertaining to "female matters" because my friend is the only other daughter.

After finally visiting my friend in the Philippines for the first time earlier this year, we realized we love each other and have been discussing marriage since my return to the U.S.. However, our discussions always end up back at "what would I do with my sister?" or "I am afraid to leave my sister - she still needs my guidance". And after seeing them together, I will admit that they are probably a packaged deal. So my concern is I love this woman, but I can not be with her unless her sister can come with her. And this is no problem with me. The real problem is, how can we accomplish it?

Well, I have been combing the Internet, and have seen various sources that state only a woman's own and her adopted children may accompany her to America if she marries an American man. After seeing that enough, it occurred to me, "why don't you just adopt your sister?". After all, she has raised her for more than half of her 11 years, provides for her financially, emotionally, etc. She already is, essentially her sister's primary guardian - however not officially.

What we need to know is:

- How can my friend, who is currently residing in the Philippines (Cebu area), adopt her sister, who also lives there, as a legal guardian? So that IF do we marry, she won't have to leave her sister if their father still unable to care for her. Are sibling adoptions possible and are they recognized in the Philippines? I think I read somewhere that it is preferred to adopt children to relatives first? Do we have a good case for this adoption?

- IF she can successfully adopt her sister, then she is officially the "adopted child of an Americans fiancee", correct? Meaning, we just list her name on one of the Fiancee visa forms (K2), and she can legally accompany her sister (now legal guardian)(K1) to the United States - Is this correct?

- Could anyone provide us with some resources (which I will then relay to my friend via phone call, text message or regular postal mail) on how she can go about adopting her sister legally and in the shortest time, what it takes, how long, the costs? Maybe some numbers she can call for assitance? I have tried finding information on this to give her, but I am not having much luck. One lawyer I emailed there quoted me the equivalent of $4500 USD, and never answered whether he could do it LEGALLY. I figured that was because it was ME asking... So I'm trying to have my friend ask lawyers about this, WITHOUT MENTIONING ME.

I know a lot is being asked here. I appreciate your time. Thanks!

i think i already responded to this post. but anyway,

1) your friend has to file for legal adoption in cebu at the regional trial court in cebu. she'll then have to fulfill (present) the requirements for the adoption, most of which she'll have to deal with through the dept of social welfare (DSWD)

2) yes, sibling/relative adoption is recognized in the philippines

here is a good info resource to start with:

PhilippinesGood Cell Phone for Low Signal areas ?
QUOTE (lbounds @ Nov 2 2009, 09:48 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
This isn't totally visa related but it's important to me since sometimes I have an issue trying to reach my girl because of low signal. She lives in a village area.

Right now she has an older nokia, I'd guess maybe its 4 years old or more.

I want to get her a new cell phone when I'm with her in a few weeks.

I'm sure other people from the philippines have experienced problems with poor cell signal. She's on the globe network.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good cell phone that has stronger cell reception ? I know some aspect of that is the cell network but some part of that should also depend on the quality of the cell phone itself.

Thanks for any suggestion and recommendation for cell phone models smile.gif

if she lives in a village and signal is weak, it means the nearest network tower is not near enough for a clear signal. the best solution is to have her position her phone where the signal in her house is strongest.

those anyone here give us an advice. i really appreciate for any advice and help. thanks a lot

NOA1 takes only several days to a week (it's just an acknowledgement that they received the application)

this should give you an idea:

http://www.visajourn...amp;page=k1flow

seems like your lawyer is delaying info to make it look like he's/she working hard when all that's going to happen is wait for the NOA1

a tip: get rid of your lawyer and research here on VJ

Philippinesletter of advice
QUOTE (robbie jeannet @ Nov 4 2009, 10:57 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
we have letter of intent, but cfo requires letter of advice. 21 and under you need letter of consent, 22-25 you need letter of advice stating that your parents have talked to you about whats going on, we have searched for examples but found none, she is at the lawyers right now and he wants to know for travel or marrage, so everybodys confused?

it's simply a letter (handwritten is best and signed by both parents) expressing their knowledge of the daughter's plan to go abroad to get married and that they not only are aware of it and do approve of it but more they also provide blessing/advice (since daughter doesn't need consent, advice is provided)

...and it is for MARRIAGE (a 22-25 yr old doesn't need advice for travel from parents or anyone for that matter)

Is it possible that there will be cancellations and we can reschedule? I've called back twice so far and they still say nothing available earlier. I'm wondering if cancelled appointments due to St Lukes are then reserved for St Lukes. Thanks in advance.

nothing to do w/st; lukes. appointsments are on a first-come-first served basis for every visa category. rescheduling is the same so you have to keep calling to check for an available earlier date.

So she has been petitioned before? Make sure you have all documents on this matter,
long story short. No she will need a new CFO after passing interview.

No, she's never been petitioned. She was led along for quite some time by a man who she later discovered was already married to a woman in Manila. He had her attend the seminar in Cebu under the guise of starting the K-1 process. We're already married and have all the documents, CENOMAR, etc., so that part's no worry - no skeletons in the closet. I just wasn't sure if the seminar was a "once you've done it, you've done it for life" kind of deal. You know, like the rabies vaccine wink.gif

she has to do the seminar again because she has to get the certificate and sticker that goes with it on her recent valid passport.

I happened to have double BC registration..My first one is mistake of my parents that they put me as a Male with a male name..so they thot they will corrected it by again registered me last yr. 2000 with a new name that im using since i was born..I called the NSo and they inform me that i will go to my civil registry in the province to request them to cancel my first registration. And later when the cancellation recieve by the NSO, i will verify them if i can use second registration. My question is, how long this process? coz i'm worried i have my interview this coming nov. 16.. crying.gif Is anybody here has a case of double registration??

Hoping for an answers...Godbless!

what NSO told you is correct. as to how long, it depends on how fast you act on it. there is a formal process for that that could involve a court proceeding (it depends on what your situation is) . it would help if you have a insider friend at the local registry to make things fast.

call your local civil registrar right away

Philippinespassed medical now interview but might be problem
QUOTE (robleftca @ Nov 6 2009, 02:20 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Ok guys she passed the medical exam yesterday. She has interview set on tuesday. The problem is has anyone not had everything?

She doesn't have here Taiwian police report. she wont' get it for another few days to weeks.

also has anyone heard the clinic taking the passport and forwarding ti to embasy?
How can she get in cause i heard you need passport to get in?

thanks
robert

oops, wouldn't taiwan be ok with a photocpy of her passport (assuming she has one)? if not, she should go back to SLEC and explain why she needs to retrieve her passport to get her police cert. SLEC usually takes several days to submit them to USEM. she might need to put her request in writing too.

if that doesn't work, she'll be better just to attend the interview and towards the discovery of that one requirement lacking, explain to the CO that she'll need to get the passport first to get the police cert.

as far as getting into the embassy, the appointment letter (even a photocopy) and a valid ID is required

Philippinesmedical interview question
QUOTE (eMonster @ Nov 10 2009, 10:58 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Hi fellow VJers!

I am a nurse and is currently working at a hospital. During my internship i dealt with patients with communicable diseases. Being in a medical profession, there is a higher chance encountering a patient with TB.. so how will u answer the question during the interview if asked if i had contact with people who are infected with Tuberculosis. What is the best way of answering this as to not jeopardize my interview and papers as well.

Thank You for the replies as i badly need this cz i'll be having my medical soon!!!! Thank u!

i would say exactly what you said here: your work exposed you to patients w/TB but you took precautions because to prevent getting the disease

PhilippinesMedical Instructions
QUOTE (lotieganda @ Nov 13 2009, 03:24 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Hi all!

My fiance and I's K1 visa petition has recently reached the Manila Embassy. I know that the only thing left for us to do is the medical and the interview.

This questions is in regards to what actually happens at the MEDICAL.

What do they actually examine??

I've read on here they just do chest xrays, a HIV test, and then the vaccination and thats about it.

Is this true??

I also understand that they will do "physical check ups" but how do they determine if you are "fit" other than the cholesterol check and the blood pressure???

I'm just buggin' out about the situation.. just so excited and at the same time nauseated from all the stress:)

yes, it's xrays and tests or the communicable diseases that if found in an immigration applicant will be grounds for denial/not admitted to the US (check nvc website for complete list)

for instance, if HIV test turns out positive, that would be the end of the road for the applicant.

if however, all tests turn out negative and her physical and psych tests (if any) turn out good, applicant goes to next stage of medical w/c is vaccinations.

the physical also has an interview component to it, and it is meant to check for signs of physical /mental health or lack thereof (ex so many scars, tattoos that have significant negative meaning etc) signs of physical abuse etc

Hi, everyone! I would like to know which is the best prepaid line to use in the USA? Globe, Smart or Sun? Currently, I'm using a Globe prepaid line, but I'm wondering if it's the best for roaming? unsure.gif And how will I reload abroad? Thanks in advance! smile.gif

any of the three will do, all have good connections...it's actually the phil side that you should consider: which part are you gonna call ? are you ok w/the rates? features?

reloading: google the website for each to see how and for how much.

god bless!

My girl has a 7am appt at USEM. How early before 7am does anyone recommend that she fall in line? Thx. star_smile.gif

30mins early is good enough...but you'll be surprised, lines become long pretty fast and those w/7:30-8AM am appts are ahead of the 7AM ones, and inside all of a sudden, it becomes a first come-first served thing, not the appt time...so you don't have to be too early but don't be late

PhilippinesNSO Problem
QUOTE (Veemer @ Nov 23 2009, 07:12 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
It seems like one problem after another, my Fiancees Cenomar shows her moms name as ERIADA and her Birth Certificaite shows it as AIDA. Her moms real name is Eraida, is this going to be a problem at the interview ? where can she go to correct his ?

Is this going to cost a bunch ?

it's going to be an issue but not as big since it's your fiancee's mother's name and not hers that is incorrect. it doesn't need majoy fixing. just accompany your docs w/those that show mother's name in the correct form (her work ID, SS ID, NBI etc) and maybe an affidavit saying that AIDA and ERIADA are one and the same person and that AIDA was a human error...something to that effect.

however your fiancee fixes this, make sure she brings docs explaining the problem when she goes to her interview

on the VJ homepage, click on "sample forms" and use those as your guide. for the frms that can be filled out online, you cannot save what you've written but you can print them out...and if you make a mistake, you can always redo a form.

for the order (organization of forms) check out the guide for your kind of visa here on VJ also

PhilippinesInterview Checklist and question about document verification
QUOTE (James & Erma @ Nov 23 2009, 01:20 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Hi everyone, I wanted to list what my fiancee has for her interview and make sure we aren't leaving anything out. Her interview is December 8th.

Payment for the Visa ( will pay this week)
Medical (will go nov. 30th and dec. 1st)
Passport
DS-156 2 copies
DS-157 2 copies
DS-156K 1 copy
Mine and her Birth certificates
NBI Clearance
Evidence of meeting
Evidence of ongoing relationship
Cenomar
I-134 and supporting documents ie, Bank letter, work pay stubs, disability income info, letter from employer
She has visa Photos, many
She has appointment confirmation sent to her email she printed it..I guess that is the appointment letter?
Copy of I-129F

I just noticed today about document verification and my fiancee went to the local metrobank in her city to ask about this, and the person there didn't know anything about it. Is this required? What do we need to do if so?

Are we missing anything? Thanks for any information.

James

doc verification was stopped last aug. 08. you must have read an old info about doc verification, but nevertheless, you're in luck because it's no longer required so you don't need to pay for it (check the edited version of the K1 process here on VJ)

good luck and god bless!

Philippinestourist visa for spouse
QUOTE (lissaday @ Nov 23 2009, 05:04 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
me and my spouse got married here in the philippines. and we are currently living here for the time being. i want to visit my family in the states with her since ive been here for 2 years..im a retired soldier and planning to live here so we were thinking if it is ok or proper for my wife to apply for a tourist visa? or do we really need to aplly for k3 DCF before i can bring her there with me? i appreciate all ur advice..ty

yes, you need to apply for a K3/CR1 visa so you can bring her to the US. although you're planning on living in the phils and, she can also apply for a tourist visa, it might be construed as your way of bringing her to the states faster (avoiding the longer process of K3)

...if you're willing to take the risk of denial, and she can prove that she has strong ties to go back to phils (family, properties, current employment etc) it's worth applying for a toursit visa

Well, there seems to be the impression that CFO seminar is only done at PRISM. Thx for your response. I'm wondering now if anyone has done the seminar recently at st mary's?

that's because PRISM is also in manila (nearer the embassy) whereas st mary's is in Quezon city, which applicants might find much farther or harder to locate

PhilippinesConfused Need Help!
QUOTE (arch and cel @ Oct 8 2009, 11:52 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Hi VJ Family I received my GC last Sept 19, 2009 w/ wrong information (USCIS error) On Sept 21, 2009 I sent form I-90 including all docs to support my claim and waive the fee. They received the pocket on the 23rd. And on Oct 1st I received the NOA (notice date Sept 28,2009) for my application and said....

"THE APPLICATION HAS BEEN RECEIVED BY OUR OFFICE AND IS IN PROCESS.

PLS VERIFY YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION LISTED ABOVE AND IMMEDIATELY NOTIFY THE USCIS NATIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER AT THE PHONE NUMBER BELOW IF THERE ARE ANY CHANGES"

And then when I checked my CASE STATUS ONLINE heres what I saw...

On September 28, 2009, a fingerprint fee deficiency notice for this case I90 APPLICATION TO REPLACE ALIEN REGISTRATION CARD was mailed to you advising you that we have not received the finger print fee, the correct amount, or a signed check or money order. The notice provided you with instructions to follow to submit the necessary payment. Please submit the required payment as soon as possible or we will not be able to resume processing of this case.

My question is... w/c of the 2 statement is correct? The NOA letter stating verify my personal information or the status online ?Do you have any suggestion or advice that I need to do?

any suggestion and advice are greatly appreciated!
arch & cel

looks like both are. they received your application but sounds like they're not waiving the fee.

wait for the letter, it usually explains why and what you need to do.

PhilippinesTravel to the USA once you have the visa
QUOTE (James & Erma @ Nov 30 2009, 01:20 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
My Fiancee's interview is next Tuesday, December 8th. Of course we are very hopeful of being approved, so she wanted me to ask others about their experience of coming to the USA to live. She wants to know what the limit is on the amount of luggage she can carry here, as she is thinking of how many clothes should she bring?

What did some of you do? Is there a weight limit on the luggage she can carry?

Thanks for any ideas, suggestions.

James and Erma

the official limit now is 23kgs x 2 and should be of equal weight plus carry-ons of not more than 7kg

(airlines are not as strict w/the carry-ons, you can carry as many asyou like, just don't look like they're too heavy for you)

PhilippinesInterview date
QUOTE (philmae83 @ Nov 25 2009, 10:51 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
as i have posted here before that my husband emailed embassy manila to have my interview re schedule and also 5 days they sent us response email as this:

Reference: xxxxx xxxxx

Date: November 20, 2009

Dear Mr. xxxxx:

This is in reply to your inquiry of November 16, 2009, regarding the immigrant visa case of the referenced individual. We have referred your message to the responsible processing team for appropriate action.

email is not the proper means to get a new schedule.

you should reschedule the interview through the embassy hotline, not email.
when you call them, not only do you get a new date right away but the time as well.

good luck and god bless!

We have not received the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)-approved petitions filed on behalf of the applicants. The case is presently with the State Department’s National Visa Center (NVC) which schedules immigrant visa cases for us. We expect to receive the case file shortly. The applicant has been rescheduled for a visa interview on December 1, 2009. At that time, a consular officer will determine if he is eligible for a visa.

The applicant need not wait for the hard copy of the appointment letter and can download the visa appointment packet and forms from our website at http://manila.usemba...v/wwwh3238.html. The applicant should follow all interview preparation instructions for visa applicants located on the Embassy’s website. The instructions contained at the website will provide the applicant with the required documentation and procedures to follow prior to the interview date.

we were so happy that we got my interview date re scheduled but because they dont put the specific time, i decided to call embassy yesterday and the agent said that he did not see our file in the system yet so he cannot give me what i am asking which is an appointment letter with exact time but he adviced me to email the embassy again and ask for exact time or just print the letter reponse that have the re scheduled date and be at the embassy before 7am..

so my husband tried to email embassy again and they replied with this:

Reference: xxxxxxx, xxxxxx xxxxxxxxx
Date: November 25, 2009

Dear Mr. xxxxxxx:

This is in reply to your inquiry of November 24, 2009, regarding the visa case of the referenced individual.

We received the electronic file from the State Department's National Visa Center (NVC) on November 24, 2009 and should receive the U.S. Immigration Service-approved visa petition shortly.

Records indicate that the applicant has been scheduled for a visa interview on December 10, 2009. We have no record of a December 1 interview appointment.

If you or the applicant would like to reschedule the visa appointment, you should contact the Embassy's Visa Call Center at telephone 1-909-101-7878 to reschedule the visa interview date. The Call Center number is for subscribers of PLDT and Smart telephone touchtone landlines with national and international distance dialing features (NDD or IDD access). Callers in the USA can contact the Call Center at 1-888-877-9888. The Call Center is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Manila time). There is a fee assessed to callers by the Call Center for its services.

now we are so confuse... my husband email them again and attached that first emailed they sent us with the re scheduled date

what should we do now?

i am thinking they are not reliable with their information if they are changing decisions

hope i can get your inputs about this

thank you
