Maybe finding a Filipina more mature with commonalities would help? I understand why you dont want an American woman but theres plenty of foreigners in the U.S to choose from and you can probably save a fortune in not having the expense of flying half way around the world. IDK Just some suggestions, yes im with a Filipina but i didnt go looking for mine i was sent to work in the Caymans and met her that way. 35 years age difference? This is my second approved petition that just did not work out. I really want to find a Filipina who is not after my money. I know they are out there. Just bad luck on my part. My question is should I withdraw my petition or just let it expire which is Aug 20th. I have learned a lot from my two experiences. I know now who to look for. I know there are IMBRA issues now if I petition for another Filipina. I have no criminal past. I'm just a nice guy looking for a sincere relationship. What should I do? K1 (Lagos, Nigeria)	Hello the K-1 visa is non immigrant visa but the Lagos consulate will treat it as an immigrant visa because it will lead to a green card when one adjust status in the United States. Therefore you should email LagosIV@state.gov. The other email address is for people applying for a tourist or business visa. The NVC will send you a letter informing you that your approved packet has been sent to the embassy. The letter will state the LGS number on it. After you receive the LGS number you can email the embassy to find out your interview date. The embassy works with the LGS number. You can call the NVC at 603-334-0700. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Co Sponser & Sponser Dominican embassy	Even if you are able to get by with this for the K-1 interview using the I-134, you will not be able to when it comes time to file for adjustment of status and you have to supply the USCIS with an I-864. You must list the last 3 years of taxes on the form and send in the most recent year's transcript. If you did not file taxes, you must send them a statement as to why you were not legally required to file taxes. You cannot do either of those things at the moment. You need to file back taxes. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Co Sponser & Sponser Dominican embassy	hi guys i have a few questions hoping someone will help me? me and my finance have our interview date coming up January 2 2013... we all ready gather the mayority of the documents to submitt the day of the interview... our concerns are for the proof of income.. i have a job only issue is i get paid off the books cash weekly... i can get the letter from my boss thats no issuse but i have no pay stubs, no W2 , i dont have a bank account dont like puttin my money in banks. i been there for the past 2 year. what can i do to show proof of my income. i was on unemployement for a while as well during that time i only have the unemployement info... i didnt file taxes.. what should i do.. i have a co sponser my uncle he filled out I-134 he works for nyc police department and FDNY .. besides the i-134 does he need to provide me eith his W2 & income taxes? am so concered i search threads after threads i havent come across on that helps me out can anyone answer these questions? this is driving me nuts!! I asked the woman at the SSA office what the process was to change my fiancée's name on her SS card after we get married. She said we have to notify INS of her name change before we go back to the SSA office. Is she correct? I look at it time to time because I get paranoid that I forgot something or I answered something incorrectly. Just remember, its the first step of many. The check date doesn't matter as long as the payable amount is enough (Honestly, when they recieve your packate, they open it, cash your check and throw your envelope "into the pile" for the next six months. I used a giant binder clip to keep everything together. And any evidence that relate to one topic (such as Skype call history or photographs, I would staple or clip together). However, at this forum for k1 guide, it lists documents that I should send to fiancee I have done all the recommended guidelines However, in packet3 it does not list that we need copy of i-129F, another original letter affirming desire to marry? So I know it's safe to have these, but are these must? Any advice on this topic is appreciate it. You do not have to have those items when you go to the interview. I thought it may be useful to bring with me any documents I will need to fill out after the NOA2 is received to save the time and money from sending documents overseas. I am planning on bringing over a copy of the I-129f packet I sent to immigration, the affidavit of financial support and a letter reaffirming our intent to marry. Is there anything else I am missing?
