And now they called me to tell me my first packet has also just arrived in Lewisville. Leaving me with 2 packets at the lockbox. One with a cancelled check and another in good standing. Those of you waitin on approvals when u call ask to speak to a tier 2 officer they have more access to information in their system they can go into your file and see what exactly is holding up your case. Even knowing I had a week before reaching the 6 months mark, after 5, I was starting to unravel. I lost all motivation to do any of my daily obligations. Hang in there! I know you probably feel that it is so close you could taste it at this point, and it more than likely is! I received the NOA2 letter today. NOA2 text: 10/10/12 NOA2 letter: 10/15/12 They didn't waste any time getting it in the mail, and USPS was obviously on top of their game as well. Very fast to my surprise! Whats this igor list? I waited 181 days for my NOA2 6 months exactly. I have all you others in my prayers on getting these approvals going! When you get that NOA2, a huge burden will be lifted from your shoulders and the worst part of waiting will be over!! i cried like a little baby this morning all happy tears! If you're lucky you might get it around 180 or 190 days. 200 days!! Damn so am be waiting till december or pass that.. Whats everyone statis here ? Anyone do e the whole process? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Changing Beneficiary's contact to WORK Address at the NVC	Hi all, A little advice/guidance/suggestion needed... Currently, my K-1 paperwork is at the NVC awaiting to be processed and then shipped to the US consulate in Vietnam. My fiancee is in the midst of changing her home address but is not sure yet. So I just called up the NVC this morning and updated her home address to her work address. They said that they have never done this before and don't know if this will be an issue at the US Consulate in Vietnam, but they will try it. (For those that does not know, this process is to ensure proper delivery of Packet 3 and/or 4 for pre-interview procedures) 1 - Have anyone ever used their fiancee's work address as the contact address? If so, were there any issues? 2 - Based on any prior experience with the US Consulate in Vietnam, do you think there would be any problems with them shipping any necessary documents to a work address? 3 - Any comments? (we got our k-1 visa approval last friday, was too happy, and we just ended up remembering about her second set of vaccinations today)   Thus, she will go early tomorrow morning to try to get her second vaccinations. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Plane tickets before visa in hand	Hi all,   My fiance just completed and passed her interview last week, Friday, August 9th. Thus, in the natural order of things, I started researching plane tickets. In the process, I found out that there was only a few seats left on the plane I was looking at for the way back. Due to work conflicts and scheduling, I have a very short window to take time off and travel to Vietnam to pick up my fiance. So I bought the tickets right then and there.   I also did research on the Vietnam timelines on this forum and saw that the average period to receive the visa is two weeks after the interview approval.   Nonetheless, I am nervous that I made the decision to buy the plane tickets before the actual visa in hand.   Questions: 1 - Should I be nervous? Is there a high probability that the visa will not arrive within 1 month's time frame? (I scheduled her flight to be the end of September.... that leaves her more then 1.5 month to obtain the visa) 2 - Has anyone been through any scenario where they did not receive the visa after an approved interview?   Thanks all!
