US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Visa Photos For Interview	Hi Everyone, In the instructions for preparing for the interview at the U.S. embassy in Manila it states three passport photos are needed. Is one to be brought to the medical exam and the other two to be used for the DS-156? Or do the instructions mean my fiancee needs to bring three passport photos to the interview in addition to the one for the medical and the two for the DS-156? This question probably sounds retarded but I just want to make sure I understand the instructions so I can help my fiancee get her visa without any problems. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	DS-160 or DS -156 in Manila	I don't get it, letter to Fiancee from embassy refers to site that says to bring Ds 156,156k and 157 however I just called the 214 area coded number and the robot says I need to fill out the DS160 online form. Now I've been reading the most recent post I can find here and they say Manila has not upgraded to the DS160 yet and that the DS 156 etc. are still required. Does anybody here have the latest update on this? You should have received an response by now considering you sent your DS230 around the same time as me. I sent 3 emails within the time frame alloted for them to respond but the last email got them moving. See below. Also make sure your put URGENT 2nd Request with your case number   To whom it may concern:      I have sent 2 emails thus far requesting an scheduled interview date. And I have not received a response email that has confirmed my DS230 form, Part 1 was received. Can someone please assist me in scheduling my interview date? All I am getting is autoresponse that I will receive an response within 5 working days.  And I have waited close to two weeks for some recognition of my emails.  Your help is much appreciated.     Please see attached my DS230 form, Part 1 for your convenience. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Medical at Mobay Hope	My fiance had his medical Sept 3 at Medical Associates Hospital for Dr Michael Banbury in Kingston. They told him the exam would cost $120 but bring $300 in case he needs any immunizations. He had his original immunization record from when he was a baby. They told him he needed 4 immunizations and charged an additional $160. $40 per immunization? Has anyone heard of this? There was even some other additional thing they charged him for and he even had to go to the bank and pull a little more money out to pay them. So they got the whole $300. Frustrating they say upfront how much to bring and since they know you have it, they find ways to take it all. I'm happy for those who didn't have such a negative experience.   By the way, congrats VJ on your upcoming interview and best of luck as well Woops! I congratulated VJ and it's Our Destiny that I meant to congratulate     Thanks Shelsgirl  Lol. But yea. Hes suppose to pick up the medical record today. They told him the same thing about $300 he should bring. However, he more than enough to cover all the expenses incurred for medical day. Nothing more. He spent about $250 and had a little something left over.    And i agree with you about them knowing you have $300 so they try to tax you on something. Like for instance , he did the eye exam and i think one of his eye is slightly bad per him. So the lady said don't worry i got you covered so he slipped her like $2000- 3000JMD, if Im not mistaken. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Medical at Mobay Hope	Ok update - fiancé went to do his medical today at MoBay Hope. He didn't need any additional shots so all he paid was the $120 for the medical. If your fiancé finds his immunization card it's best he get it checked out at a clinic and get whatever else shots he needs before the actual medical. My fiancé was able to get his shots at a clinic in Hanover for free. Hope this helps!   Thanks JSC. He found his immunization card. But he didnt get to have someone review it. I will try to see if he can. But as for getting shot before the medical, i heard some stories that  sometimes the appointed doctors dont accept the recent shots. Also we have our medical Sept 2nd and interview Sept 13th is that enough time for embassy to receive the results? i know they said 10 days prior but it will be exactly 10 days on interview day. The lady was from Eastern European decent, very professional and nice at the same time. at the end I signed some papers and she told me to wait outside, after approximatively 2 hours my name was called at the window and I was given the oath letter. My oath will be on June 12th in Brooklyn. I can't believe this process has been so quick and painfree so far. Thanks to everyone for the inputs and sharing. You can ask your wife to contact her local congressperson and see if he or she can inquire about your case to the embassy. The embassy may give the the congressperson more information and then you and your wife can see how to solve and overcome the problem. You can also apply again too and make sure you have lots of evidence of your marrigage. I wish you the best with this situation.......Please let us know how things are going. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Case Complete at NVC, waiting for Interview	Thanks MrTee12, but my process is a little different since I'm petitioning for a CR1 visa and not a K1 visa. My documents had to be gathered by NVC before they send me off to DR. Our case was complete at NVC as of yesterday and they are only waiting to schedule the interview before sending off the application to DR. But I'm hopeful that by the end of this week they will schedule my husband for an interview in January.
