I just recently started having some financial issues making it harder to be the only one working and providing in the relationship. I make enough to support him (as per that 125% poverty line) but not so much to pay all my bills + support another individual. I assume there isn't any possible way to expedite the work permit? No! They didn't actually. They mentioned another meeting to drop off the passport and paperwork and I think they said he has to schedule it. I dunno, either he was so upset he didn't listen, or they didn't specify. He's calling Belgium first thing in the morning and the consulate after. They didn't really explain much to him about anything except that he NEEDS that form. Everything else was perfect. I hope he doesn't have to pay for a second interview? oh, and they asked a little bit about our age difference... specifically whether MY mom was okay with him being 17 years older than me, lol. My fiancé lived a short time in Belgium but was unregistered so he didn't get a police report. It was something we were both in the air about, so it's not a shocker. Belgium has no record of him, but the consulate knew he was there so... He's got to order police records. They said nothing else was wrong and our file is still there. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Any August filers?	It's getting exciting, seeing these interviews really getting started! I sent Packet 3 10 days ago, but so far the embassy hasn't logged it into their system, and I can't schedule the interview or medical until they do, so more waiting for me. It's a good thing I had so much experience with waiting before the NOA2 arrived! So, tell me... for those of you gathering interview documents now. Does your embassy need the I-134 or the I-864 for the K1 interview? I'm doing a little informal poll, so if you wouldn't mind sharing, that would be cool. Brit if you and Marco wouldn't mind sharing the process of the medical exam we'd all appreciate it I'm sure My fiance has his medical on the 27th and doesn't really know what to expect. He's not sure what they mean by "medical history review". For anyone that does know maybe it is just a questionnaire you fill out? Also, what is the blood test for? Good luck on your interview! Marco said the blood test was for syphilis. They basically just talked to him about his history and made him call the national registry to see if they had his shot records. They didn't of course, because the national system started in 74 and he was born in 72. So they basically just went on faith I guess, gave him two shots- the MMR and DKTP (which i think is DTP in english) For him, it was a max of 90 minutes and he was in/out. The X-Ray was so fast he said.. the lady did it in 10 minutes! lol. I know things are different from country to country, but really it is nothing to worry about as long as your fiance is clean! I mean, since it states "nature of relationship" the answer must be "fiance".
