US Citizenship General Discussion	General Info on Naturalization	HI there, just to be clear .... i want to apply for US citizenship (granting that my home country Australia allows it, which im sure they do) - does the permanent residency card - green card - also include the two years prior to that before getting the permanent residency card ie - the conditional one that we have for two years? if the USCIS changed it to 3 years, i qualify this year for the citizenship option - but if i can do it sooner - the better!! thanks in advance. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Waiting..	ok i've been told that if you file at the californian centre - they take up to 3-4 months..... why do they take so long? its doing my head in..... i live in sydney australia and just want it all over and done with already... and be with the man i love and just live our lives....... simple yeah? they recieved our application on the 21st feb and havent done anything with our file (i check every day on the UNCIS website case status thing)... ok so i'm impatient... lol.... since the 23rd Feb they havent touched it..... thats 5 weeks..... minus 3-4 months leaves..... 2.5months... ok so is this still the case? 3-4 months wait?.... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	February Filers CSC, NSC, TSC	oh ditto!! i'm so glad i came to this site!! quick update... got my blood tests back... had a tetanus booster (my arm still hurts - where they put the needle feels like its been punched to death lol).... they told me i should get a measles boost (i had measles as a child), rubella boost and a polio boost - but told me i couldnt get pregnant for 6 months.... so i thought oh what the heck i'll wait to get these boosts... but my question is... anyone who has been to the consulate already.... is this vital to have these boosts? and im going for my police check today...
