I will be gone for one month and I'm thinking that I should take my phone records with me but I would so hate to lose them know what I mean.....and I have so many as for the emails and photos, letters, I can send those from there....Thank You like you said you never know it could mean it could happen faster then what I thought but I'm so scared to get my hopes up....

Hello all hope everyone is doing well....I have good news so I'm hoping it's good news because I will be in Morocco for the next month....I'm leaving Thursday to be with my husband after one whole year of not seeing him in person....anyways I received this email from cris stating this*** DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS E-MAIL ***

I was told that I wouldn't hear from them like for a long long time and now i have this email and touches that they have made where like 4 and I'm so so happy but will they ask for more proof before I get back from Morocco that is what I'm so scared for because I wont be here in the USA if they want me to send them anything....does anyone know how long before they could ask me for anything after this email.....thank you so much for any help.....Bernice

Hello everyone hope all are doing well.....just wanted to let you know that I'm back from my trip.....it was so great to see my sweet heart after a long long year.....i just wanted to eat him up lol but had to wait for the long three hour drive to his city.....but we spent lots of time together time that i will never forget.....coming back was very difficult i hated to leave him again.....being home without him is killing me but i have to hang in there and be as strong as i can God please help us to be together soon....

Hey there! Look for an arabic restaurant or store near you. I get mine from a little arabic cafe owned by a lebanese family. If you can't find one, there's a website you can order it from. I'm greek and use this site very often. Google "Titan foods" in Astoria, NY. They have the fine and coarse, you need the fine for msemmen...have fun cooking!

Oh, and it's not a spice, it's like flour smile.gif

Your ENTIRE visa journey has been to get that interview date. I can't imagine WHY someone would want to postpone it, unless of course there's been a REAL emergency like an accident or sudden death. That I can understand. I would kill to have an interview date in 2 weeks. And I have everything ready. Yes, everything. No, I don't have my NOA2 yet.

Sorry this happened to you, mate, but it does sound like you kicked up a fuss and the embassy did try to be accomodating. And why would work schedule matter any way, with regard to your fiancee? She's quitting anyway and moving to the U.S., isn't she?

Why does the 2 year rule exist? Does anyone know?

This is just my theory--the two year rule exists because otherwise people could be petitioning for friends they haven't seen in years.

The assumption, I believe, is that genuine couples of a romantic nature wouldn't go two years without seeing each other.

Look. The rules sucks. But there are what they are. You MUST meet within 2 years of filing. No ifs and buts about it. Not 2 years 1 day or 14 days or 5 days. Two years. 730 days.

You can go to her country and marry her. Then file for a CR-1. The wait time is about 6-8 months on an average. Cost is $825 plus miscellaneous.

If you want to go via the K-1 route, then you will HAVE to refile.

What did you submit with the intial 129F -- that might give us a clue if it was sufficient or insufficient?

Strong evidence includes pictures with family, pictures of wedding/engagement ceremony, affidavits, passport stamps, email logs, phone bills, letters, cards, children, joint bank accounts, joint lease etc.

Technically they COULD deny it for any reason they feel like and give you a perfectly valid reason such as "lack of bonafide relationship" for it.

To me it's quite clear it's your previous run through with the K-1s that's causing the hold-up. Especially with all of them from the same city and same last name. HUGE red flag, to be honest.

I know there is some waiver for the second filing and after--maybe someone else can chime in here about that.
