IMBRA Special Topics	NEW POLL for CSC - MARCH - Post IMBRA ONLY	To all involved in this poll.....I will re-compile all the information tonight....I will take into consideration that Post IMBRA will start on March 6th instead of March 7th......... The reason why I make notes that some of you are not listed in the proper service center, because it is easier for me to pull up all members in the CSC specific........I tried to use the charts from the timeline stats because it would make it easier to just highlight a member's name and track it that way..... I was thrown for a loop when I started to see members who originally listed their service center then were transferred later........... I will look at each post and I will have to tweak my figures a little every day.....it will take some time to get the figures more accurate so please be patient...... then I will try to type out a list showing everyone's stats side by side......this way we can see if there are any patterns or lack of patterns......... please be patient........I'm working a full day, then writing two letters to my fiancee then I'm caring for 3 kids all at the same time not to mention dealing with an ex wife........I will have all ready soon...... There are a total of 1,528 petitioners in the VJ CSC only timeline stats............. Out of that.....there are 78 listed Vj petitioners in the month of March.............. Subtracting those who have already received their NOA2 (post 03-06) minus 6 number is now 72 petitioners Minus one more......Gary and Luz listed twice...unless there are two Gary and Luz's from the phillipines...let me know....... The number of petitioners at the csc post IMBRA (03-06 to 03-31) are now........71 VJ petitioners at CSC post IMBRA Out of 71 listed members.......in the first 14.5 hours of the poll........there are 8/71 vj members who have mentioned that they have recieved an RFE....... William33.....I did not see you listed in the vj - csc timeline- are you still listed in NSC? USCIS Service Centers	Now I read job vacancies for all the service centers???	I pulled up the government job posting for service center directors at all the service centers??????? What on earth can this be?????Does this mean that they fired all the directors or are these directors still there as lame ducks not doing anything because they know that they are being replaced?????? And the saga continues..........maybe there was a sex scandle of some sort among all the directors......like they were all caught in a hotel room during a immigration convention explaining the IMBRA changes......they were caught partying with service center clerks or interns or something like "tailhook"........ National Visa Center (Dept of State)	Mr.Lonely notified by NVC...packet ready for Moscow	I'm not sure if 10 to 17 days is considered the average time for my petition to arrive at the NVC and to be prepared to be sent out to the Embassy. I understand that there was a huge delay at the NVC with many petitions being backed up. What has been the average timeframe for the petition to be sent out to the various Embassies??? I'm getting frustrated because there are many people here on VJ that got their NOA1 around the time I did and received the RFE back in June. Now we're at the end of July and I still have not received mine. Anyone else in the same boat? Also, to those who received RFE's - were you notified by email that it was being mailed to you? Can anyone describe the envelope? (I'm worried if I had accidentally thrown mine out with the junk mail). Help, please! IMBRA Special Topics	NEWSFLASH....NEW FIGURES FOR CSC MARCH POLL	He believes they will get through the backlog in 30-60 days. So by labor day or mid september they should be through the backlog of RFE-Imbra Petitions. Doesn't help my sanity or sleeping. I sure as hell hope this is not the case as I am on the verge of losing my patience and sanity. Kit.........It's not going to happen.......you losing your sanity and all..........I've read your posts........your a tough one............hang in there........... as soon as a plan can be brought up among all the intelligent March members, things will get addressed. They (CSC) don't know that we now have these charts and lists compiled.......they think we are all sitting around the kitchen table wondering. But, I'm not, and I know your not. Were plotting in our minds. I know alot more members are plotting as well. This is a mental and emotional prison. But I sure as heck don't plan on waiting without any action on my part. They (the clerks) at the CSC are just people like the rest of us. They punch a time clock and go home every night not giving us a second thought. IMBRA Special Topics	NEED INPUT - OF ALL THE NOA2' s	The reason why I am asking is because when I finally was able to speak to a human being at the 1-800 number, she asked me if I was active military........ My theory is that the reason why so many members received their NOA2's so quickly is because they were active military. IMBRA Special Topics	SENATOR BOXER (CA) STAFFER RESPONSE TO DATA	So very sweet OK.....my turn...........I hate politics........I hate to step on anyones toes.......but when my toes are being stepped on........I start reacting.......... Now, I've been a "good little boy", American taxpayer. I waited my 120 days for the process to help me bring the woman I intend on spending the rest of my life with here. She wants to have American/Russian babies starting on our wedding night. That's good enough for me to speak up and act now!!!!!! I started the chart because I wanted to see the big picture. Now I have seen it. Now on my 124th day, I have reacted. Now I follow the rules of engagement. First I called the 1-800 number like I was told to and followed their instructions. I wrote the CSC. I addressed my very professional and polite letter to the Director of the CSC. I sent it next day, certified and return reciept. I emailed the CSC on Saturday, and I intend to keep emialing them until I get an answer. I am doing all I can to exhaust all my avenues. So when my senator or representative asks me if I attempted to contact them, I will have much documented proof that I did so. This is the bottom line people..........it is your choice if you want your future wife or husband to sit and wait in another country while you do nothing. It is my choice along with Kit's and Dar's choice to do something on the offensive. No one has any right to judge anyone here if they want to act or not to act. Like Gary said.....every man (and woman) is for themselves at this point. So to sit there and write nasty messages towards every day hard working American tax-payers - us - who are attempting to bring their most prized posessions-in-the-world to their arms - is not right. Yes, these poor clerks who are looking at these piles and piles of petitions get bigger and bigger by the day are not going to feel for any of us. They have family's too and I will be realistic to say that if I was a clerk at the CSC and when my 8 hours are up, I will go home to my wife and kids and spend time with them. If I did not, then my wife will leave me and I would have to travel to distant countries - like we all did - to find that perfect soulmate partner - like we did - and then have to submit a petition - like we did - and have to wait - like we are - .......get the picture???? The system is broken. This is obvious. When 28 % of vj'ers inMarch can't even get a RFE to at least be on the playing field like the others.....this is a problem. There are thousands and thousands of petitions for I129F's and other catagories sitting on desks, on filing cabinets, in post office boxes stacked every where. They will not know that I exist until I speak up. Ok, I will shut up now, but in summary. If I want to prove to my new beautiful bride to be that I love her like I have already written probably 2000 times already, then she would expect me to prove it to her and not just sit around waiting for the "fairy godmother for petitions" to arrive and hand to me my approval on a silver platter!!!!!!!!! You can all now send me a truckload of nasty messages now.....I expect to receive them....but I don't care.........nothing is going to stop this freight train from pushing up the track.........not you, not the CSC, not the snotty congressional aid.....no one........I am a man on a mission. I will stop trying when my babe has tackled me to the floor at JFK airport in NY kissing me one million times like she tells me she is going to do!!!!!! Then I will rest!!!!!!!!!! One day after the Director of the CSC receives my certified, return receipt, next day delivery letter, I get touched for the first time in 127 days!!!!!!!!!!!This was my info........ "On August 2, 2006, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283." This was the letter that did it. If you don't like the wording......change it.....but send something NOW........stop waiting ......... Box 30111 Laguna Niguel, California 92607-0111 Director Poulos; My name is _____________. I have filed a petition for a K-1 fiancée visa with the USCIS. I filed my petition on the old petition forms after the new IMBRA took effect on March 6, 2006. Due to the new IMBRA, I understand that I need a RFE (request for evidence) to be filled out so that my application can be updated. To date, I have not received my RFE. I understand that all the RFE’s were sent out to the petitioners on or about July 1st. I have a number of friends who have petitions with the California Service Center and they all received their RFE’s and have returned them. Director Poulos, please look into my file and forward my RFE so that I can be current with the USCIS. I have already surpassed the 120-day processing time for this type of petition. Thank You. Yes, I can talk........I'm in the frigg'in "C" list like some of the rest of the March members........ If anything......you all have got to hold it together for our loved ones sake - who are just as afraid and irratated as we are. They sense your anger and frustration and helplessness and you are not helping them at all. We all have to keep it together and work as a team here. We all have to continue to network and come up with ideas to move the fight to CSC......... Yes this sucks, and the cards we were handed STINK..........but that doesn't mean that we have to start crying like a bunch of children. Our loved ones are depending on us to bring them to us. Thursday - Aug 3 - Touched for 2nd time (ooooohhh, I think I like these touches) Monday - Aug 7 - Touched for 3rd time (aghhhhhh...don't stop now.....I like these.....) IMBRA Special Topics	List of those who applied using the pre-IMBRA form who hasn't been sent RFE yet	Please. I know there are a few of us out there. I called the USCIS and spoke to someone requesting a new IMBRA RFE be mailed but the person told me that none has been sent. What I'm confused about is that there have been people who have NOA1's around the same time as mine (June 14th) who received their RFE's back in June and already turned them in, yet my case hasn't even been touched. Not sure when to contact my Senator on this, so I'd like to know how many others have yet to receive their IMBRA RFE. Still no RFE for us, starting to get a little worried seeing everyone in my time frame has theirs. IMBRA Special Topics	List of those who applied using the pre-IMBRA form who hasn't been sent RFE yet	Sent the old application on June 1st Reached Nebraska on June 5th Transfered to California somewhere between June 5th and June 17th (last touched), who knows Received NOA1 on June 20th Nothing since but it could be worse I guess. I have been in the immigration system for the last 14 years so I know how things work over there. Patience is the key. I did a timeline search for applications mailed in June for both Nebraska and California and it looks like no K1 applications sent in June have received their RFE's so there's some hope there I guess. You stated that you have worked in the immigration system for 14 years...............what do you make of all this confusion.......we all knew that patience was the key prior to the IMBRA.......why do you think that 26 people from March still have not received an RFE yet......thanks.. IMBRA Special Topics	Interesting small development for me today!!!!!!!	These are great news Mike. After reading your post I asked my fiance to do the same thing, and he mailed the letter yesterday. We received confirmation that they received it today so..... we are just waiting for our "touches" too thanks to you! There's just one thing we did different from you: we included a signed and dated copy of the scanned RFE with our letter, hoping they would take it and finally get things moving. Hey, it was worth the risk E & K.........you may not realize it. but what you did was absolutely tremendous!!!!!!!!!!! Now, all the March members still in the "C" list will see which method, mine with just a "polite" letter and yours with a letter and a scanned RFE.....will be more effective.............this is a marvelous test of proactive will power. Maybe one will work, maybe both.........time will tell.........I still say that if we continue to sit and wait and do nothing......nothing is what we will get........." O.K...........for all those who are wondering if my letter to the CSC director did any good...........this is the sequence of events thus far.......... July 31st - sent certified letter to Director......... August 1st - Postal service indicates that my letter is accepted at CSC August 2nd - I get touched for the first time ever........... August 3rd - I get touched again for the second time ever............. I do not know that this means.........but to me this is minor progress........... it is alot better that NOTHING..................... Get those letters in the mail March people..........you have got nothing to lose.............. I will keep every one up to date of my progress............. School's back in session now so after working all day.......I'm pretty much doing homework times 3 kids then putting them to bed and then writing my girl 6000 miles away..........(we've recently exchanged our 700th letter now!!!!!!)you know the basic priorities of a single dad/fiancee typical type of day............ anyway, I will keep the March list going until we all are approved.......to the very last member..........(and it better not be me!!!!!!!!!!!) God Bless Mike Hey Mike, (AKA Sleepless in New Mexico/Mr. Lonely): I have actually been reapproved without benefit of any update or email or snailmail from CSC. My congressman's aide called a couple weeks ago, after i called him a few times to bug him, to report that my petition had indeed been reapproved and sent back to NVC on Aug 15. Since then, I've confirmed that through calling NVC, and getting a return email from them saying it was so. I'm pretty sure my petition is now sitting in the US Embassy in Paris as of this morning. I did all the things I could, as inpsired by you and others, writing the certified letter Ms. Poulos, sending the privacy release to my congressman, along with a written summary of the facts, and supporting documentation (lists of approvals from VJ), wearing new callouses on my knees, lighting candles, you name it. In any event, something worked, maybe just the time it took for them to grind their way through the pile at CSC. but I'm thinking your approval has got to be on the way.
