Celebrating a RFE is crazy , but celebrating none the less! Congratulatons



If a person just surfing the net would stumble across this vj website and just happen to look at all my posts and see that I have been through all this sh*t for a over 197 days now just to receive an RFE......for the main purpose to be married to a girl from another country - 6000 miles away.....where this curious web surfer would think to himself that more challanges and troubles are sure to be on the horizon....like the approval "mountain" to cross, the NVC log jam "mountain" to navigate through, the scaling of the "mountain" of the sending of packet 3 to arrive safely in Russia, the "mountain" of the interview in Moscow, the "mountain" of the visa arriving to her house safely, the "mountain" of the long lines at the Moscow airport in the security section and then the "mountain" of the long 24 hour flight to JFK airport and then yet another "mountain" of the long line at the immigration counter in JFK - then the "mountain" of finding her luggage just so that she can navigate her way to me waiting for her..........I am so much out of breath just looking at all these mountains to cross.......I did not know we were going to need a "Mt. Everest climbers" permit to simply fall in love and get married so that we could live happily ever after...........

If this innocent web surfer saw this journey that still awaited us......I wonder if he would call me and my girl idiots or crazy for taking such a journey!!!!!!!

Well, then I guess I'm just an idiot and crazy for love and that I better but on another layer of clothing because I'm gonna climb those mountains and one day, one day we can feel the warmth of our souls embracing near the fireplace of our new home.

Men are such stubborn creations I guess - to do all this for love!!!!!!! I don't remember Adam having to scale any mountains for Eve!!!!! Heck........how would that fig leaf keep him warm?????

Sorry for being so long winded........I guess I am in "complaining limbo" with the CSC - that I'm ready to mail back my RFE......and now back to patiently waiting again.

And then with my luck, I had a holiday on a monday so my IMBRA RFE arrived one more day later!!!!!!!! :(

The email stated sent out on Sept 30th.......
postage mark was dated October 4th.........
at my house on October 10th...................

Now first thing tomorrow morning.....It gets certified next day delivery...... :star:

I laughed. :lol: ...on the Blue cover sheet......it stated, " This RFE MUST be returned by December 23rd" !!!!!!!!!


yah like I think I'll just leave this sitting around the house for another 2 more months!!!!!!!!! ;)



Today is day 197 since my NOA1............I really do not want to be the all-time record holder here!!!!!! :(

Any other March or April members get their IMBRA RFE's yet?????

Will keep everyone posted of further developments..... :whistle:

I wish to thank all the "old-timers" and the newbies for all the responses!!!!!!!! This ole dinosaur (medial moose){lol} :lol: has just wrapped up a night of homework with my three kids and I am reading all the wonderful posts......

I have written a letter to Ekaterina and am waiting for her reply. She is 11 hours ahead of me so she should soon be opening her email right about now.

I just wanted to again say " thanks " for all the support from all my allies in this terrible "trench-war". I would not wish this torture on anyone!!!!!

Ekaterina and I have now surpassed 1000 letters!!!!!!! We have made one of many decisions in our new marriage...........we will definitely not have a computer in the bedroom!!!!! :blush: :blush: :blush: !!!!!! We are SICK of computers and letters!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL....LOL.....LOL.......LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! :P

Anyway..........I pray that I was the last of the March members. I kind of figured I'd be one of the last to go.......just the way my life goes sometimes!!!!!!!!

Well, I finally found the time to send an pm to my friend E&K. Our RFE's were recieved the same day. Emma told me that they were approved one day after the RFE was received. She was concerned and told me to call CSC and find out what the word was........

Well after waiting another 15 minutes.....I give 'em my receipt number and they calmly say....."oh......you were approved 2 days ago"!!!!!!!!

Then 5 minutes after I hung up the phone.......I get the CSC email saying I was approved........Efficient to the end.....Thanks CSC.........

Now on to NVC.



Thanks all who have helped. I hope all those still waiting get yours soon. I never realized how long 210 days were until this year................

Lord you deserve all honor and praise.
I thank you Lord for hearing our cries to be united with our loved ones. For seeing our tears we cry day and night.
We believe that the approvals of all will continue to come swiftly.
We thank you for dispatching ministering angles to the USCIS, NVC and embassies all over the world to grant us supernatural favour for the blessings to overtake us .....as many have mentioned they can't keep up with all the approvals coming in now.......Lord let them continue to overtake us.......
What God has joint together let no man tear apart, no man, no USCIS......

Our Father who art in heaven........I thank you for your response to all the prayer requests either in this thread or those made in private. Once again, you show ALL of us, believers and non believers how powerful and generous you are to ALL of us. Just like in the days of your Son Jesus, when he instructed his followers to cast their nets to the other side after a long night of failed fishing. When it was clear that they desired to obey you and trust you, the net was so heavy when they retrieved it - it was filled to it's breaking point. Now we see members creating posts that they cannot keep up with all the approvals.......where days before, the posts were of complaints and disbelief. Now they are simply amazed!!!!!


And again, when your Son turned the impossible into the possible. When 10,000 were hungry after hearing Jesus teach them........you once again showed ALL that your gifts to us cannot be outmatched!!!!!! Just like today, when we see an impossible, broken visa system currently handing out visa's like never before!!!!!

Father, I am thankful that many members on this site no longer hunger for the approval. But there still remains many who have been waiting for a long time for your blessing. It is understood that each of our approvals will arrive when YOU have determined for it to be so. Your reasons for our long waits cannot be fully understood by our simple minds. So we simply turn to our blind faith and believe.

Jesus, you told us that all we have to do is believe and it shall be done!!! If we simply let go and trust you then we shall see great rewards.

And finally, I pray that you bless all the members on VJ who unselfishly give of their talents that you gave to them, so that others can benefit and be calmed and to know that they are not alone during this most difficult journey.

Michelle - I was happy to receive your resonse. But trust me - I was not the one writing to you. It was God himself. He used me to relay these words to you. Many people will not believe this, but this is how God works - through others. God was simply using my hands to transcribe what he wanted to tell you. Now that the seeds have been planted in your heart, the rest is up to you to either accept it and to nurture it or to reject it.
Trust me, I'm just as normal as the next guy. I'm crawling my way through this world exactly as you are. I have my moments of fear and uncertainty as everyone else. It's a wonderful feeling knowing that we have a Father who cares for us.

You ask how's that for a first go........you have taken that first step to an eternity of heaven......keep going...

Michelle – I read your post and I felt compelled to reply. I want to share with you some things if you are willing to listen. First of all you are absolutely correct – there is a higher being. It is God – with a capital “G”. This belief you have is many times better than the belief that we evolved from slim.

You say you don’t have faith. It is literally impossible for us to have this faith on our own. It is against our nature to possess it. It is the Holy Spirit that allows us to have this faith. Faith is to believe – you are correct, but you are not correct to assume that it is without questions. I have great faith. I have been close to God all my life. But, that doesn’t mean that I have never questioned my faith or failed God. Trust me, I have sinned many times in the past. And, I will sin again in the future, It is inevitable. And yes, I am locked in an on-going battle within my spirit. The nature of being human every day questions my faith. I have spoken to priests and Christian Pastors that also admit that they too have this battle from time to time and question their faith. Then, what I do when I am aware of what is going on, I simply let it go and give it up to God. Then I feel the battle subside within me and it goes away for a little while. You say you have millions of questions – well every member who has posted a prayer on this thread has millions of questions as well. As long as we bleed, and remain on this temporary earth, the questions will remain. So don’t feel so left out. We are with you in the questions department.

Again, you are correct. The dramas that are shared on this website are nothing compared to the great sufferings and sins in the world. But you must know this. God is pure love. When God allows a man and a woman to fall in love, he is basically expanding his love in the world. When a man and a woman become one union in love, they are literally spreading God out among this troubled world. And as you and I know, this world needs all the love it can find to push back the terrible sufferings that occur in every corner of the globe.

You are good to thank God. Because he is always listening to you. He loves you very much even with your doubts about him. I will give you the secret to finally find out if there is a God. With your heart, you must want to know. Not with your mouth or with your mind, with your heart. If you remove all the walls within your heart, and sincerely seek to know God, then it shall happen. But you are the only one that will know that you lowered the tall walls within your heart.

How do you do this? You simply go to a secluded, quite place with no distractions. You close your eyes and clear all thoughts in your being. You look into the blackness of your spirit and once you finally achieve total silence, you ask God. Do not be surprised when you “feel” yes I said feel the answer upon your heart. It will be very subtle and most softest voice you have ever heard when God speaks to you. Then, after you feel (hear) this, you will be given the choice to believe what you just experienced. God always gives us the choice to accept him or not. No one else will hear what you hear. No one else will be around to influence you one way or another. You will be totally on your own at this occasion in your life.

You say you don’t go to church. Well, let me tell you, I go to a Catholic church every Sunday without fail. But, the church I enjoy the most is when I am alone with God, late at night in my secluded room and I begin to have an open conversation with him. You do not need a man-made building to speak with God. You don’t need an appointment or an invitation. All you need is the choice and the willingness to do this. You can fool others, but you cannot fool yourself with your will and desire. You will know if you actually desire to speak with your Holy Father.

You mention that you hope that God knows that you are a good person. Of course you are Michelle, God does not make junk. You were made beautiful and perfect in God’s eyes. All he is waiting for now is for you to finally use your will to want to know him.

My opinion, if it means anything to you, you are half way there. If you continue to take those steps to him, eventually you will arrive at your destination and when you do, you will be amazed at what you find when you chose to be with Him.

You may not accept what I am saying to you today, you don’t even have to respond to me. But after reading these words I have just planted within your spirit, you cannot escape them. It will be too late. The seeds will have already been planted within your soul!!!!! Good luck on your journey. :yes:

I fully respect all who have posted their prayers here, and I genuinely hope they work, but I hope you don't mind if I ask you guys a question. If we are asking God, or Allah, or whoever to grant our approvals, are we also accepting that he/she/it has been delaying approvals so far, i.e. that he/she/it is reponsible for the delay, as well as the eventual approvals? I just don't understand when people thank God for the good stuff that happens to them, yet fail to admonish him/her for the bad stuff.

I'm just reminded of people who miraculously escape a plane crash and claim that "Jesus saved me", surely the flip side of the argument is that he killed everyone else, or at least failed to save them? As the late Bill Hicks once asked, why was John Lennon killed, and yet George Michael lives on?

I hope this question does not cause offence. More power to all of you for expressing your faith - as a devout agnostic I've just always been intrigued as to how this works.

For the record: I'm crossing my fingers for swift approvals. I guess that pretty much adds up to the same thing.

God does what he does because he is God and it does not matter what we think or judge or to complain. God is holy and almighty. He created all the universe so he calls the shots. You ask are we also accepting that God has been delaying approvals so far….well, the answer can be “yes” for some but not all. If God has plans for member “x”, and the plans of member “x” do not coincide with God’s plans then the answer can be yes, he is delaying member”x” ‘s approval.

God also gave us free will to choose our own paths as well. Just as you have chosen the path to not accept God totally and to be an agnostic, and I have chosen the path to accept the truth that he gives to us. I cannot judge you and you cannot judge me. In the end, I believe, when we leave this temporary world and we are both standing in line at the great judgement seat of God, I believe that I will have nothing to worry about and that I shall be in heaven with God for eternity. How can I be so sure of this? Jesus. When Jesus died for us on the cross, he washed away all our sins and secured a place for us in heaven. You have a place and I have a place if we CHOOSE to accept it. I accept what Jesus did for me so this is my ticket into heaven.

Could my petition be denied, yes. Could it be approved – yes. Could it take another week, yes, could it take a year – yes. No matter what happens, I ask God for patience and guidance to deal with my suffering. I turn all over to him for help. Jesus told us that to worry about the future is futile. We cannot control what happens to us if we wanted to. Look at all the retired folks from Enron who thought they were set for the rest of their lives. I do not think that many of them thought that they would be applying for “door-greater” jobs at Wal Mart at the tender age of 65.

Does ####### like this happen to us on this earth – yes. Why? Is it God that does this to us. – No. It is the sin of man that creates all the pain and suffering on the earth. That plane crash you spoke about, why did it happen? Maybe someone tried to save some bucks and didn’t put in a couple of bolts into the engine – maybe the pilot was drunk, maybe it just happened because it hit a bird, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe and on and on and on. The truth of the matter is, we will never know all the answers to all our questions. Only the One True God Knows All the Answers. When we get to heaven, you and me, we can both ask him – O.K.???

I looked up the definition of Agnostic. I found this; “Agnostic theism is the philosophy that encompasses both theism and agnosticism. An agnostic theist is one who disavows knowledge of God's existence but chooses to believe in God in spite of this.”

I thought that this was an interesting definition for agnostic. My question to you is – does this definition define Sami?

What I find interesting is that you were the first one out of all the members on vj to question this prayer thread in many weeks that it has existed. Also what I find interesting, is that I was one of the first to get involved and to try to give some sort of an answer to your question. I did not wake up this morning and think to myself, “ I think I will answer a question for an agnostic today”!!!!!! Do I think that I will be rewarded for defending my beliefs? To tell you the truth…..I do not know……maybe this was my test of faith in my life today. If it was…I want to thank you for being involved in my test!!!!!!

Let's not forget about our better halves........

It's obvious that they are doing the RFE's that they got from July 7 and before. Trouble is that most of us got them in at that timeframe. So I guess it's every man for himself now. Danny, I know how to do a timeline search and I can copy/paste the info into excel but how do you save it as a picture so it can be posted? Been trying to figure that one out all day!

This gives me a sharp smack across the face for getting so down over the CSC getting the IMBRA RFE to us so late (July 15th) - thanks for putting things back into perspective for me MrLonely. I cannot believe it though ... 28% of us Marchies haven't even received it yet?! I can't even express how incredulous I am! And they are approving petitions from June!? I could throttle someone. It really seems like the recalls and the March petitions are getting the short end of the IMBRA stick.

ELI........All of congress has now come home. This chart should be copied by all marchies and taken to their offices. No one can deny these hard facts now. Kitkat is gonna start, I'm right behind her........when these intelligent congress folks see the the hard figures, how can they not act for their constituants................I suggest all members in march make a copy of this and take to them this week.

I knew that I could see the forest better if I viewed it from a hot air balloon from above. The good news about all this.......if it can be considered good news, I thought that I was one of only three marchies w/o an rfe........now it's 28%.............I emailed the csc last night and I will continue to do so every other day until I get a response. Hey, just saw this thread. I have a NOA1 date of March 30 and rfe date of July 06. I originally submitted to TSC, then transferred to purgatory(CSC). My home-Florida, Fiance- Philippines.



You will be added tonight................and for your info.......CSC is not purgatory..........it's "the rock" Alcatraz........."once you get here, you only leave in a body bag"!!!!!!!!!!!

I usually clean and add to the chart betweem 6pm and 10 pm mst...........I will be up late tonight........I'm working on other things as well.......

Would an exel spreadsheet snap like Danny&Adri did work best as presentation to liasons? The problem I had with Danny&Adri's chart is that it doesn't contain enough info though it has wonderful clarity and organization. The original Nebraska chart begun by Gary and modified by myself and Devilette seemed to contain too much info for folks to even see at this point... What are people thinking is best?



Bluesurf..........is that the chart I saw that had the borders and lines and the text was neatly arranged????? I already have all my info on my spreadsheet but I cannot cut and paste the lines along with the text...........I will continue to work on this to make the chart more presentable to the vj members......I like to use short and to the point details in my chart......this way it looks better and members can find the info they need fast. Let me know.

Mike, I think the best thing is to send the charts to the senate contact to shed some light on the weird order of dates like carldecolorado suggested. Any comparison to past timelines won't be valuable because IMBRA changed everything. I'm not really in favor of bombarding the CSC director with letters - I just don't feel like that will be effective - I'd rather work through an official channel like my senate liason because I think she actually has the ability to get this information in front of the right people. Really, there's no way to know but I think it's worth a shot so when I get home today I will send her an email with both charts and will point out the random RFE order, etc.

If anyone else has a senate or congress contact, now would be a good time to call and ask for their email address. The Senator email format appears to be firstname_lastname@senatorname.senate.gov - worth a try if you don't want to call for it. Maybe vivamexico can add how to email your congress liaison since he works for one.

I was just thinking out loud when I mentioned the bombardment suggestion to the director...........a man has alot of strange thoughts while he is sitting in solitary confinement and no one to play with for such a long time!!!!!!!

I am a firm believer in the squeaky wheel gets the grease........but, I will not notify my congressman just yet, I currently have something up my sleeve that I am working on, sort of an "ace" I am holding on to. So I do not want to muddy the water just yet..........I am not the type to just sit around. I patiently waited for my 120th day, then I acted. I should hear back from my source next week. Then I will know which is my next course of action.

I'm contemplating sending this information to my contact at my senator's office in hopes that it could shed some light on how messed up this situation is. What do you guys think and would anyone else do the same, assuming you have a relationship with someone to send it to?


Kit.........I was thinking the same thing......but you not only need to send in the March CSC chart.....you will need additional supporting documents/charts as well......let me explain......

lets take your case. I would send in the March chart showing all the reds, blues and blacks.........then I would also show Ulings graduation chart showing all the April, May and June NOA2's that have already jumped us.............then I would print up the vj timeline chart for California Service Center Only with Mexico fiancees Only......this is what I noticed in your case.......It showed vj members with fiancees in Mexico for the past three years.......the average number of days from NOA1 to VISA IN HAND is 150 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's from start to finish!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now this would definitely show the congressman how behind things are. Today is day 124 for you.....Do you think that you will have your visa in hand in 26 days??????? The way things are going at the CSC.......I doubt it........

anyway.........just some more thoughts to chew on......you are right......if we all network our ideas and come up with a big bang of a letter to someone (today, I was thinking about the director of the CSC.....which I already have her name)........what do you think she would do if all of a sudden, she received hundreds.....I'm not exaggerating here, If we have 100 vj members in the March group at the CSC....and we ALL wrote her a letter 1 time per week, that is 100 letters per week to her from March alone........then If you add another 100 members from April and then 100 from May.........you get the point????????Someone on vj suggested a march at the CSC.......what do you think hundreds of letters a week will do????????????Not many of us can get to california to march.....but we can all send a letter every week.............We keep doing it more and more and more and more..........each letter would contain our case number and they all would be signed by hand........no copier machine copies........then they can be written by us, our moms, our dads, our sisters, our brothers, our aunts, our uncles, our grandfathers, our grandmothers, and on and on and on.........an example: Dear so and so.....my son has a petition at your center........Dear So and so......my grandson has a petition at your center, Dear so and so, my nephew has a petition at your center.......you getting the picture???? To send in 100 letters at .39 cents per letter is a whopping $ 39.00...........alot cheaper than flying to california to march don't you think??????? And don't you think our fiancee's are worth $39.00 to push a point????????

I borrowed Ulings chart......cleaned it up and listed it in NOA1 month with approvals listed..........I knew someone would do the work for me when I designed my chart for march!!!!!!!!!!!!......I have no time for the april and later members

I will keep all the march members advised of the progress of the other months in this thread

I like to look at ulings and my charts from different angles


The angle I see and like the most is that there are many Texas transferrs listed as approved....

We can all see things from these charts that others don't see........

If anyone sees something strange or interesting.........

Nevertheless, I read on another thread where there are quite a few poeple (maybe 6 or 7) that have received the NOA2 from CSC (post March 6th NOA), none of these folks however were transfered from NSC.



I saw that as well....

I am happy to see some approvals are getting handed out

even though they weren't ours

even though there are alot of people been waiting longer

that shows us that work is being done...........somewhere in California.....

Let's just hope that the CSC has a back up generator when the brown and black outs start happening in California again this year!!!!!!!

Now If all members who are currently at the CSC penitentiary (a.k.a. - Alcatraz) who are still listed in their original service centers can update their timelines......I can pull up the vj timelines for specifically CSC and get a more accurate picture. I bet you all did not know that our petitions were being processed at Alcatraz huh????? See, you learn alot from this website!!!!!!!!

Who else would travel halfway across the globe for that one and only soulmate, just to endure all the pain and hardships and disapointments for days, weeks and months on end????

I am only interested in seeing the "big picture" for the "Senior Class" (so-to-speak) for the California Service Center - class of 03 (march petitioners).

I am trying to determine, if I can, a pattern why RFE's were sent out or not.

I will monitor the data daily and I will try to update the chart daily as well.
