I am SO relieved that the "additional processing" status on Friday didn't turn out to be a problem. Everyone still waiting is in my thoughts, and garlicknots, I would totally sign that petition. Congrats all! I'm so happy for you guys, especially for those long waiters and forum cheerleaders! I kinda get you two. I was just talking about this with Kim. I recently saw some CSC approvals from February, I mean aren't they approving May filers? We were just thinking about how it would suck if you've seen your whole month get approved and got left behind. I'm praying for you two that it won't happen! I'd be happy to sign it as my NOA1 was 2/9 (2/7 via USCIS) and I'm currently spitting nails over the fact that they have moved forward and left me in the dust (along with about 20 other petitions in the group I'm following). I believe Miss. AAA is still in the same vortex of hell. Mary my NOA1 was February 8 one day before you and I had a simple RFE and got my NOA2. You gotta be so close now. Can't wait to tell him the news when he lands in three hours. Checked my email this morning. The approval was made on Aug 17th. Kinda pity that they didn't post it on Friday when he was in China with me, that we can celebrate together. But still very very happy and excited. Thank you all VJers, and Thank you GOD!!! I already sent in our tickets from two trips to see eachother, receipts for our wedding and engagement rings, 300 some odd love letters, photos with our families.... I mean what else do they even want?! It might be something silly and simple. Mine was very simple - I did not check off the box regarding my criminal record. I answered it and sent it out right away. As for the possibility of the "Dream Act" making our visas take longer, I don't think that's the case - according to my Congressman's assistant. She told me the people filing for the "Dream Act" visas will be going through their local state immigration offices, and VSC wouldn't have anything to do with that. I went through a whole bunch of receipt numbers (About 10,000) and made up a little chart of all the I-129F petitions in excel. (It's helpful to go up by 10's or 20's instead of doing ALL 10,000 numbers LOL) - you just go to uscis.gov and enter from there. I started with mine, and went up and down from there to come up with all the ones in my range. Then a few other people have shared their numbers with me too. I can't believe it! Did not expect that after going through all those numbers before today. (Actually it says Aug. 13 but e-mail coming tonight.) I just checked the e-mail one more time before going to sleep (it's 11.40 pm here) and there it was! Oh joy! Broke down crying! We put my e-mail and my fiances cell phone number,good thing since he actually got a new cell phone number a couple of weeks ago.
