K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	March (2012) filers...	Ok so I got the notification 15 mins ago, I was with my fiancée . We went just now to a café and I told her even though I was excited that we need to prepare for the worst scenario.. We got hyped up still only to find out we got the RFE notification. On one side we are bummed out but we are feeling better now as te RFE process is not so long. I'm sure ya something stupid I forgot ( like the rest of the passport pages) and this should set us back another 3 wks?? WHats the ongoing average on RFEs? When I responded to my RFE it took around 2 weeks to get approval. So answer it as soon as your receive it in the mail. When responding to a Request for Evidence it is extremely important that you place the blue coversheet on the top of the response you send to them. The VSC receives thousands of pieces of correspondence each day, if the blue coversheet is not on the top of the response it will be placed in “general” correspondence and NOT sorted as a priority, which may delay your case. There is nothing like patience - just received from Vermont Service Center: email at 5:00 p.m. CDT "Your case is now updated. Check "My Case Status" etc: Status updated on USCIS - "Post Decision Activity On September 17, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I-129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	March (2012) filers...	NOA 2 Approved!!! "EXPEDITED" Hello VJ members, this morning I received a text message stating that "my case was updated". A few moments later, I received an email which stated that my petition for the I-129F was APPROVED. Last week I applied for an "expedite service request" due to EXTREME financial hardships. I was initially told that I did not provide enough information in order to determine if I could qualify for an expedite, but after immediately faxing in 16 pages of supporting documentations, I was actually called by an immigration officer from the CSC and told that my case would be examined the next week. WOW, I was both shocked and happy. I learned about the possibility of an expedite service request right here on VJ. We are a community of people who all are looking for the same thing and therefore, need to support and advise one another with regards to information, or even just kind words of support and encouragement. My case was unique (as they all are), but I at least wanted to give something back to this wonderful community because without your help, I would not have my NOA2 at this point. For that I'm grateful. I'll accept any positive outlook with open arms at this point. It breaks up the monotony of a miserably slow process overall. Every day is one day closer... Just set up an account, and they'll notify you. That's how we knew we got approved before receiving the physical copy. You can also change your address online using this website as well. A 'touch' comes from viewing this website if your status change or if your file has been viewed/reviewed or 'touched' because the last date on the case has changed. I just want to know at what point do they decide to make it remotely fair And send the jan/feb files to csc!
