I called USCIS a today and was told that they are working on Jan.9, seems they been workin on this date forever. I she stated that there is nothing I could do until they begin working on a date later than mine which is Feb.8. Postal Service doesn't forward government mail... I don't even know how to get my RFEs at this point without putting in a service request which takes 30-60 days to process... therefore... So I reluctantly decided to call USCIS yesterday against my better judgement to get an update and I spoke with a teir two rep. When she got on the phone I knew I had wasted my time calling becuase she asked me the basic info she tole me to wait for a few seconds and told me that my file was still at the local office and hung up. This is funny because the last time I called they did not even know that I had an interview or that my file was at a local office. This is a perfect example why not to call those worthless individuals because all they do is lie to get you off the phone. I can not find one reason why my interviewer would lie to me and say she has approved my case and sent it back to csc for processing when she didnt. I will wait three more weeks and have my lawyer make an inquiry if nothing comes up to get the skinny on the situation. The interviewer said it would take 30-60 days to process and I sure hope she is right. I may call the interviewer today and see what she says as well. It went very well but she only asked me questions pertaining to my previous marriage because i had sponsored my ex wife from mexico. After explaining everything and showing current correspondence she said that she should have it.approved by tuesday of next week.. she apologized for the case taking so long and said she hopes all works out with the new marriage. No she does not drink like that normally, I know when you go to events like that it promotes drinking and when friends pressure you it does not help. I will not be able to clearly think about this for a while. I can understand why she waited to tell me but it is very hard swallow all of this at once. I know it is not her fault for what happened to her even though she was very stupid to put her self in a position of getting that drunk but it is still devastating to know a man did that to her. Yes it is sickening what some men do to women. It is good that you are aware that you are not thinking clearly at the moment. Let some time go by. Get a pen and paper and write down a list of pros and cons as to why you should persue this relationshiip. That way you will be looking at things black and white and not just on emotions. I have finally found out the complete truth as to why my fiance has acting the way she has for so long. Back in January she went to a rave with some friends and was drinking heavily and ended up at a bar afterwords. While in the bar she was drinking straight out of a vodka bottle and became severely drunk. One of her friends had taken advantage of her that night and had relations and she has no memory of anything that happened. The worst part is that she became pregnant, she tried to have an abortion but the doctor said it was to dangerous and so 25 days ago she had a baby boy. She initially gave it up for adoption but now wants to fight to get custody back with help from her parents because she is not working. At the moment the POS friend that did this to her does not know as they have not spoken since that night. I am in shock and have no idea what to do from this point. She sincerely apologized and said that i have always been the love of her life and would not know what to do without me. We both love each other very much but i dont know what to expect with the fiance visa pending..... IM LOST Yikes! Why was she drinking so heavily? Does she have a drinking problem? That is why she ended up being taken advantage of? Put your thinking cap on... This is a decision that only you can make after completely thinking things through. You are in a very tough spot... Are all petitions sent there are do some by-pass and go directly to the Embassy? How do you know? If it does go through NVC, do you get notified when they receive it and/or when they send it to the Embassy? ...I see there is a place on our timelines for this information, but I have not received anything after the NOA2 notice. I saw a few posts about "tracking" your package once it leaves USCIS but I am not finding out how. Help anyone? We filed 18 March... but never received NOA1 - cheque wasn't banked until May... my US fiance has made calls to them and they said our file was scattered. The Tier 2 called all parts in, said they had everything they needed and requested an expedite since it was in such a mess but that was in August - nothing else has happened. He called again last week and they set up an Infopass appointment for next Friday. I guess we'll know more then. Frustrating for me because I have time on my hands to do everything and he is the opposite and overloaded with work. Only including the bio/signature page will get you an RFE. ( color copy)) I never included a copy of every page of my passport and never got an RFE for it. It'll help with the next few months of waiting. Made it a year apart. This short visit will rejuvenate and calm us while we wait a few more months. Before I get NOA2, I was feeling so uncomfortable and worried most of the time, just because I've read one VJ member timeline, they waited 9 months and 25 days for approval (no RFE), California Service Center last year.
