K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Newbie with some minor questions	#1- No not essential. If you send it USPS, make sure you get the receipt to prove it was delivered. You want to be able to track your package. #2- Ongoing relationship evidence is not required for the I-129F petition. It typically is given at the consulate during the K1 interview. For the I-129F, you have to prove the meeting face to face within last 2 years. The best evidence is your passport entry and exit stamps, boarding passes for those trips, several photos of you two together over different days. (3 in the same day ), copies of your hotel receipts do not have to be translated. The receipt should have your name on it along with the name of the establishment and the dates you stayed there. If you have credit card receipts showing that you paid for that hotel on those dates would be additional evidence also. If you have this evidence, you will be fine. Good luck P.S. many people talk about sending in all this evidence with the I-129F petition. Most of those needing to do so typically are going through high fraud consulates. They want to make sure there evidence is attached to their petition. This is not the case for every single I-129F petition. Argentina is a straight forward process. Read reviews for the consulate here.. Learn how to search out the information that is going to help you And make 2 duplicates of everything you sent. I need some help from you regarding some questions in the i 134 affidavit of support, i know they might sound stupid but i really want to avoid mistakes at this point. in Q#11 it says "I intend OR do not intend (if u check intend indicate the exact nature and duration of the contributions for example if u intend to furnish room and board, state for how long and, if money, state the amount in US dollars and whether it is to be given in lump sum, weekly or monthly, and for how long.) They may ask to see the originals, but will accept a copy for the records. It is a good idea to have a copy of the package for safekeeping. A lot of this information will be used again. The money was taken out already as well. It has been a month but he never received an email/text/mail eventhough he filled out the form for notification. What should we do? Thanks! Sometimes even though you filled out for email/text notification you don't receive it. I never did. But you should have receive a NOA1 in the mail. Call USCIS and make an inquiry. He can also request his tax return transcripts online from the IRS and fax it over to you. No signitures required. http://www.irs.gov/I...er-a-Transcript (he must ask for "tax return" transcript not "account transcript". He will receive it in 5 to 10 business days and then he can fax it. On the USCIS website it says to file at the Dallas Dropbox location but I looked on the VJ site and it only shows visa's being approved from Vermont, California, and Nebraska. Can anybody shed some light on where I should file? Mail to the drop box and then they will forward it to the appropriate service center. You don't get to choose which one, they do. Also send several of your recent pay stubs. Of course you don't need to send the I-134 until after your NOA2 is approved which will take over 6 months at the VSC. But it is good to get familiar with the I-134 now so that you are ready when time comes to submit it. Save your boarding passes, hotel bills, and other receipts that prove that you were over there. This will be evidence that you will submit when you apply for the I-129. Also you can download the G-325 form for your potential fiance and have her sign it while you are there so that when you come back to the States you won't have to have her mail it. Also have her sign a letter of intent to marry you that you will need to submit with your I-129. All this will save you lots of time when you submit your I-129.
