hehehe Loto, i think you will have to share your patience with all CSC filers, coz we are still waiting for NOA2.

WOW, congratulations!!! Your NVC process was very fast, are you sure you didn't expedite it? hehehe Good luck with interview!!!

No secret of the patience, skynaut :star:

Thank you! I wish I could expedite it. But since the expedite at I-130 stage denied, I didn't take a chance here. But, there are some insider tips if you wish (only PM) :star:

I got NOA1 on 9th July. I have not heard anything from USCIS yet and there has been no touch on my petition. I am waiting for NOA2. I saw someone has applied at the same time and has been approved. Is there anything I can do to get approved?

Got some good news, the wife is coming in December to spend Christmas with me...she will bring copies of bank statements lease agreement letter from employer and cell phone bills to prove she will be returning to Australia. but all this got me wondering since we didn't have to give her passport number how will the guy at the gate know she has a visa in process? should she just tell them of if it doesn't come up just keep quiet. she will have a return ticket for jan 10 also and will be using the VWP as she will only be staying 37 days...which is the longest we have actually been in physical presence of each other.....also she will have the tears ready just in-case they try and turn her back...lol

Wow, that's great news, TheSahlis :star:

Bring all the ties back to Australia. As you said, just open the mouth if POE officer asks. Also, tell everything truthfully too.

Good luck!

Well Loto since you're so far ahead of all the July filers @ CSC I hope you're prepared to answer and influx of questions from all of us once we get our NOA2's! I guess you'll have at least 2 months to prepare.

I am here, jmks, as always :star: And this is my favorite thread too. I think I have mentioned it before. I will leave this thread after everybody in CSC got their NOA2 (F)

At least some time lost in CSC, can be caught up in NVC stage, by being proactive there. You have the choice of NVC Electronic Processing too. Darnell is the GURU of that.

Well, I donno how to react to the latest numbers on USCIS website. They slowed down tremendously in CSC :crying:

Tina, That's correct. In Aug 10, CSC slowed down the approvals, but remember that's why May and April filers' cried in the March filers' forum.

We don't have data for Sep, Oct 10 approvals. Currently, they have approved May end filer as well and approving May filers.

Other good news is I saw one guy (Andy H) who filed in Aug 10 with VSC got the approval.

I have a question... we are slow getting ready to NVC stage... So after NVC generated number and got our e-mails should we wait some request from NVC about DS-3032 or just send it right away? and how we will know that they accept it?

Timol,

After both email ids registration with NVC, the beneficiary can email DS-3032 right away.

If IV fee invoice is generated, DS-3032 is accepted.

Good one, TheSahlis!

In fact, that was an old Receipt# assignment.

Now it looks like in WAC 10 9 0142632:
WAC - CSC prefix
10 - fiscal year 2010
9 - some number
0142632 - sequence# of this fiscal year (This sequence is the mix of all petitions such as I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765, TPS etc.)

Loto

Nothing new, waiting... was glad to see that somebody from may 28th got approval

Yes, CSC is wrapping May filers. Based on this data, you guys are just another 2 months away. Wish it should be 1 month away!

Then both package review and case completion in another 2 to 3 weeks time.

Update - IV fee also paid off tonight. Now waiting for both fee PAID status to print out the barcoded cover sheet to express mail both packages.

SqdnGuns, Have a nice trip and enjoy with your family! Yes, try for the expedite.

interview for montreal is about 4 months, just on it's own, lol NVC 1.5 months...gets to montreal consulate, 3 weeks, and then 4 months...6 months..lol...and now 2 more months until my 5 months at USCIS.

do the math, lol. it is what it is.

wife called this afternoon, they politely told her they were reviewing the documents to render a decision on our expedite request.

CRN, hope a positive response by the end of this week and good luck!

Guys, i have a question: when you pay $404.00 Immigrant Visa Processing Fee, will you also have to pay another fee when they issue you a visa at US consulate in your country during the inerview?

@skynaut, If you pay $404 IV fee, then there is no other fee in the Consulate. Medical will cost some. And some countries have an agent to return the passport, so their minor charges too.

@All, CRN, Sahlis, skynaut, Cip and others, the wait is no too long. If CSC reaches by Nov/Dec for July filers' approval, then add another 3 to 4 months to complete NVC and Consulate interview process. Some Consulates will get faster interview too, some are slower. NVC used to take 1 month in the past, but now I see 1.5 to 2 months for Case completion. Probably, when you enter, NVC should be faster and some time in I-130 stage can catch up!

Hello to all. I've recently joined and have been reading through the posts. There's great information here! Wish I had known about this site before hiring an attorney to take care of the paperwork.

I'm getting concerned and anxious as I want the process to go quicker so I can have my wife by my side. I filed with VSC; my NOA1 date is Aug 1 (Priority date = July 27). Based on Loto's timeline and other's experiences, I would've expected to receive NOA2 by now. The latest touch was on Oct. 3, but nothing since then.

Any suggestions? Do you think something is wrong? Thanks.

You should hear soon.

nayoub66 in VSC is also waiting for NOA2.
