IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	I864 Work Credits instead of Income?	Ive been reading up on this one. I believe that if you have a family business and your spouse works for that business and, if she or he files a separate business return then they too can get credits of work over and above the 4 allowed. For example, if I make over the designated amount equating to 4 credits I believe the remainder can be shared. I dont know how many or how its caculated for a family busines but its worth looking into. Anybody know any more about this? So I'm trying to figure out how to create this bar code to paste over on the ds3032 hardcopy. does anybody know of another site because the new site thru the ling che shortcut only prints out a small barcode that doesnt really look like the one that might need to be added to the sheet. For example, in India, VFS is the agency who returns the passport with the visa back to the applicant. For that, they will charge a small courier fee. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Missing tax form for Affidavit	I had copies of all the forms I submitted in preparation for the interview, that is until my computer died. Now I have W2's for everything BUT 09 and I'm not sure were to go from here. I know we need the affidavit of support for the interview and that's sort of an integral part of the form. We went to the tax office and they said they don't have any more copies of the 09 tax return. I'm a bit stuck on what to do as they only gave me two weeks to prepare for my interview which didn't give me much time to deal with these issues. What can I do? The letter said my husband is welcome to come and get his visa, he just has to bring $10usd and his passportm my question is they didn't give him any kind of slip to come back, how is he gonna get in? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	AOS packet help	Hi, I'm new to this forum here and while browsing through I noticed that everyone has stated that for the I-864 you need to include your last three tax years...I already sent in my AOS packet on 11/10/10 but I only included the most present tax information as it said in the instructions that it is not necessary to include all three years or at least that is how I read in...I called the NVC up today and they told me it takes 20 days to review and tell me if I have any missing documents...and i didnt include an employment letter either just sent in copies of my last 6 months pay stubs...does anyone have any insight whether they are going to request additional documents so I can start preparing them...thanks You should be fine at this stage, if you have filled I-864 properly. It is recommended to provide current year income details, if the last year income is very close to the poverty line. Gather all other documents at the interview time, just in case. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	help please.. nvc doc.. process	hi everyone good morning!! i called nvc last night. it says the packet of information and documents was generated on nov, 20 2010 and will sent in next few weeks. please follow instuction carefully to the address provided.if 6 weeks have past and your agent has not receive since the nvc sent press 0.. what does it means when they say its generated? does it means that my i864 and my ds230 that they recieve it and its on process yesterday. but i try to log in to the immigrant visas website..but it was not sif...but i hope i will not get the rfe cause i follow the instruction correctly and i did nopt missed any documents its all original....thank u so much for answering my questiion..i really appreciated...have a wonderful day.. The visa page you're talking about is the one issued from the Consulate which will normally expire under 6 months time and it is just single entry visa. Once you touch the U.S soil, this consulate issued visa gets expired. Whereas, I-551 stamp authorizes traveling outside the U.S, eligibility to work etc. and it is temporary green card until the plastic card arrives. Plastic card will normally arrive in 3 to 6 weeks time. If you get a Welcome letter before that, you can track the plastic crad in the USCIS website with its Receipt#.
