The forms themselves list how to send them, but I am also under the impression that my wife needs to bring them to her interview. Thanks a lot. You and your co-sponsor will fill 2 separate Affidavit of Support forms and send to NVC in one package with its own barcode sheet. NVC will forward them to the Consulate when the interview is scheduled at the Consulate. This will come when you're in NVC stage. Currently you just filed I-130 with the USCIS. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	irs question	you can get a tax number and file joint tax for the 2010 year, you will get a better refund, and it's good to show evidence of marriage,....this is what you have to do call the irs 1-800-829-1040, ask then to send you a w-7 form,tell your spouse in another country we are married us citizen, you want a itin number, that itin number eill be your tax number until you get your social security card,, but the other has to sign the w-7 form and mail back to the irs, good luck If you are marital status is married on the last day of the Calendar year, you are eligible to file "Married Filing Jointly". Currently, IRS does not issue ITIN separately. You have to apply it by completing W-7 form with the supporting documents along with other tax filing papers. It is paper based processing since W-7 is involved, the address to mail entire package is Austin, Texas. I have to travel to Nepal in order to get it.. Now I have only until NOV 13 to respond. If i go i will not be able to get it to the Immigration on time. Never listen to Tier1 person. Ask him to transfer to his/her supervisor (Tier2) and explain it. Sometimes, Tier1 will not pass to Tier2. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Help RFE	You answered your question urself in your post...seems like you registred you marriage the same day you guys got married and they are making a big deal about this...I dont know what advice to give you...but I guess you should call Nepal to find out if they can issue the certificate for the different date after your marriage occured or call USCIS if they will accept explanation letter with some affidavits from yours and her family mebers as a secondry evidence...give it a shot...and good luck....!!! This is also a good idea. Registering (civil) on the same day of the religious ceremony date is fine. But check with USCIS, if affidavits or any secondary evidence is good enough too. The marriage of this couple has been completed according to the religious as well as social etiquette. and signed by Executive Officer with seal Is your and wife's name in full format with first and last name? Is the marriage date is in English format not to confuse with MM/DD/YYYY format? Probably, adding the full address of bride and groom will be a good idea. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Help RFE	No all i have is the one issued by the municipality..saying we were married on so and so date and "the marriage of this couple has been completed according to the religious as well as social etiquette" Do we need to mention that the marriage was registered and also provide the registration number on marriage certificate? It was registered and there is a ref number on the marriage cert...instead of registration number it says ref number.. I don't know about Nepal format of marriage certificate. It seems they must have confused with the Ref# and Registration# under Marriage Act of the Country. In our marriage certificate, Reg# is there. Also there are 3 witnesses too. W2/1099 with 1040 and schedules can be used as an alternative. Also, it can be used to derive the sponsor's income if the tax filing had combined with any other non-sponsor's income. The problem is the IRS doesn't have record of it because I had to amend the return after it was submitted due to divorce problems. They don't have a transcript for it. I just want to know if not submitting the 3rd year will be okay and I can just explain the reasoning behind not getting the 3rd year return to them since, after all, 2nd and 3rd years worth of tax returns are merely optional to send in. I had already planned on making a table of contents for the documents that I do have Tax returns for 2nd and 3rd prior years are optional. The abstract of the above notification is as follows :. (a) there shall be no requirement of furnishing Income Tax Clearance Certificate by the persons before leaving India; and (b) no Income Tax Clearance Certificate shall be required to be furnished by any person while filing a tender for the purpose of obtaining commercial contracts, etc. Accordingly, henceforth, no person leaving India by land, sea or air will be required to obtain a tax clearance certificate and furnish the same to the airlines, etc. except in cases of persons concerning whom the Income-tax Authorities specifically notify the immigration/customs authorities asking that such persons should not be allowed to leave India without obtaining Income Tax Clearance Certificate. I believe that if you have a family business and your spouse works for that business and, if she or he files a separate business return then they too can get credits of work over and above the 4 allowed. For example, if I make over the designated amount equating to 4 credits I believe the remainder can be shared. I dont know how many or how its caculated for a family busines but its worth looking into. Anybody know any more about this?
