First 2 weeks: NVC Case#, Email ids registration, DS-3032 emailing, IIN, AOS payment and packet delivery, IV payment and packet delivery Second 2 weeks: AOS and IV packet entry into NVC computer system Third 2 weeks: AOS and IV packet review, SIF and CC You can be proactive only in the first 2 weeks, remaining 4 weeks is the mercy of NVC Also, many guides here suggest only be pro-active in the first 2 weeks. OP, PCC has expiry period. So, if the issue date is more than 1 year at the time of your interview, you need another PCC. Question is this..do I just call the AVR to see that they've processed it? or Put it in the system? How long should I wait to start calling the AVR? I have seen some cases like this. I received our NOA1 notice with a priority date of June 22, 2010 (they received it on June 19, 2010). I haven't heard ANYTHING yet since that date and it looks like it has only been "touched" on June 24th. Is this normal? Does anyone have experience with the wait times for a spouse from the Dominican Republic? I feel lost. Thank you to anyone who can offer any advice. Been trying to sign-in to check our case but could not get through. Everybody told me that once you cant sign-in... petitions approved already but want to make sure. Do u know where to check the case status online aside from USCIS? Oh, I was also confused initially with USCIS site Now USCIS is history for you. Basically, you are not able to sign in in NVC payment portal. This is called NVC SIF. This is good indication that your case at NVC is almost completed. Now talk to the NVC operator when is the Case completion happens. Once CC is done, NVC will schedule your interview date in 1 to 2 weeks time. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Can someone sponsor them selves to USA on a CR-1 ?	Hi, I was wondering if someone could sponsor themselves to the USA on a CR-1 visa. I can not start work until frbruary so i can not sponsor my husband to get here. If he shows that he will have a job when he gets here that is about 125% poverty line guidelines, is he able to "co-sponsor" himself? I might have a company or two willing to do so. But because it is a family visa the company can't bea co-sponsor it has to be an individual. Thanks! I don't think NVC or Consulate would agree to sponsor himself by showing his future job income after the immigration. If he has a job currently in his country and this employer has U.S branch and willing to employ him in the U.S after his immigration, then he can declare his income as "intending immigrant's income in your I-864 with proper documentation. Still, you are the sponsor and in this case, there is only one I-864. Another example of intending immigrant's income. If he has good rental income in his country, that will still continue to come even after his immigration. This can be shown. Think about these type of options for you. I'm worried about the usual regular #######..lol. Like them asking me my wife's fav sexual position..how many tattoo's we got..what type of cigarettes we smoke...how did we meet...and what kind of cars we drive, lol. originally I told my wife when we first met online that I was a massage therapist, lol. Didn't want her to think I had money, then when I told her what I really did..she didn't believe me, lol. Took me 3 days to convince her, lol. I finally got her to come to my place and we drove by my office...once she saw my name on the sign in front of the place..it clicked, lol. Somebody asked they had lot of hair (don't worry, on the head!) in the PP pic. But, at POE time, they lost lot of hair due to the stress of wait in the immigration process. I've been going back and forth in my head about what to do, and it seems that the best thing is just to make sure to put his full name with middle name (under "other names used") on any other forms going forward, like the DS-230, and prepare new I-130 and G-325A forms for us to hang onto in the event of an RFE and for my husband to take to the interview. Sounds like a good plan. Trying to submit additional information to USCIS after the submission of your petition can be difficult. In the absence of an RFE it becomes very difficult for the information to make its' way to your file to be properly matched up. Make the appropriate corrections on all forms submitted to NVC and any discrepancies can be explained at the interview or dealt with at the NVC level if necessary. Good luck.
