My dear hubby was here with me in Aug./Sept. and so I was "offline" for a while had that Do not disturb sign on the door knob/email/phone/skype Now trying to catch up with things around here. I see that this thread has grown since last time I was on, threre were about 11 pages, now there are 60+ that's a good thing, a warm wellcome to the ones that joined us lately How is everybody else doing? My hubby lives in the USA and I want to be with him, I like USA and besides career opportunities are better there and for my hubby it would be difficult to find a job here in Europe, he would have to convert his license and this is time and money consuming. Ok, I understand What I thought was your hubby could relocate to Lithuania and live there together in that beautiful country. Now I am clear about his job in the U.S and your job opportunities in the U.S as well. To me, it is easier to relocate to India with the job, but the quality of life is not good (This is just my perspective!) compared to the U.S. That's why I am here and I am barely successful to convince my wife too. Cip. Cip, It looks like website displays the notice date. Processing is based on receipt date, the date USCIS receives your I-130 petition. I was notified by text message that my case was moved to Texas Service Center... I have no idea why since I live in San Diego, CA, but anyways I HOPE it is not a bad thing! What do you all think??? And in December of this year, the 2nd set of 180 day waiting will be over They should just approve me , and realize how they are hurting 2 married people that have tried so hard. Where is the compassion? I'm starting to feel as if its discrimination Adam and Thet, It is real pain to hear this and I have been watching you since July I know you try every month with the Congressperson. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	July 2010 CR-1 filers	meaning, is there a time limit for the I-130 (once it is accepted) to go onto the NVC stage and if you pass it, you have to file another I-130? I am sure we wont lag on it, but was just wondering. Approved I-130 will land in NVC. I think upto one year (some other will confirm it) NVC will hold it for the response from both the petitioner and the beneficiary. For other petitioners such as LPR (not USC), the visa# is not immediately available. NVC Quote - "If visas are not available for your visa category, the NVC will notify you that the NVC received your petition and will hold it until a visa becomes available." I figured that out. But when I entered in the spreadsheet, I corrected it. After 1 week of approval, you can start calling NVC. The below are some links useful to you.
