He have a US Passaport and SS# . 4 months on the waiting game in CSC . I read the info on Immigrants Requierments for vacinations. Does he need to get any document on this for his first entrance to the US ones our cases get approved? THE DNA testing will not apply as longer you have notify the US goberment in the embassy on a US citizen Birth a broad . As i did w. my son . You need to also understand that if you have not inform the US goberment of your baby girl Birth in more than a year they may want to do that test . It took me 6 months to get back to colombia and Notify my situation and they approve that and he is a US citizen leaving in Colombia w. US passport and SS# . IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	My Wife Baby Girl application	Good Evening: I send 2 I 130 forms back in OCt 2010 The question is as Fallow 1) My wife baby Girl Birth Certificate send w. the applications have only my wife last names as the father never recognize the child.No father name on BC, 2) My wife got the court Judgment that specify that the kid will have her's Fathers LAst name . This may happend in a few weeks . Note : The last name of the child rigth now is really similar as the one she will get ones the final Judgment come down from the Colombian Court. a) Example child last name right know is Rodrigez Rivera and as the judgment come down will be Rivera .Rodriguez . I just send 2 REF's to the CSC for some other documents that got me thinking that we may get our NOA 2 soon . Hopefully Do we need to stsrt the bay case again? Or Can we continue and adjust the last name issues Later? Im sure the father will enter his signature in any document to allow the kid to come to the US . However this situation got me worry. I am 10 years 11 months older than my Tico husband, we had our k-1 interview in San Jose Feb of last year. They were very nice, and complete. When I first dated my husband, the age thing bothered me, but as time passed I forgot the age difference. So when the consular asked us flat out if the age difference was going to make a difference to us, I was kinda surprised, (jajaja forgot) but we answered honestly. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Medical Exam - early?	For those of you who responded - thank you. I just called the Costa Rica Embassy this am (and actually got to a real person rather quickly) and was told the physical exam and lab results are good for 6 months. They also had a specific list of physicians and labs where one is to complete the required testing, which the lady was kind enough to email that to me right then and there! So... I guess the best answer is if you think you might need/want to do the medical exam sooner, call your embassy to see about specific requirements - it seems most allow it to be completed 6-12 months in advance. Thanks again. I was about to file the I-129 for my fiance to come here to the States from Costa Rica, but now there is a chance I will take a job Costa Rica and move there. I will not know for sure for at least another two months, and would hate to wait to file in case I dont move. My question is this: Can I file the I-129 now and then if in two months I am living in Costa Rica, go ahead and get married there and start all over with a marriage visa instead? Art, July 10 that you saw is the last updated month in their system with the case receipts, completions etc. The receipts are correct for the month. But the completions in July 10 are not the completions for July filers. If that's the case, July filers would have been approved in less than 30 days time! July 10 completions are for the prior months. For example, few July filers here approved in Sep. Their head count will be in Sep 10 list which will be published after 2 months from now. USCIS chart is 2 months behind of the current date. You are right. VSC is working faster than CSC. The reason is they accepted only few (2 digits) petitions until May 10. Then slowly accelarating the receipts from Jun 10. Their pending cases are very few - around 8,000+ compared to CSC pending cases of 104,000+. The pending cases of VSC dropped dramatically because they accepted very few I-130 petitions in the prior months of the year to process other petitions such as TPS, EAD etc. And Chicago Lockbox forwarded almost all I-130 petitions across the U.S to CSC and they clogged with these petitions.
