Have the form notarized when it's complete. You might also want to write, and have notarized, an updated 'letter of intent' to send to your fiance with the I-134.

My salary did not differ, so no need for a letter. Good idea, though.

Every consulate requires something different... Frankfurt does not require tax returns. But if you're mailing and are not sure, won't hurt to send them along too.

I am in the process of getting my I134 completed wwwwwoooowwwwwwwwwww::dance: :crying: :help:

I have the I134 filled out- should it notorized now or do I wait untilI am sure of the date for the interview?
letter of verification- I have 2 ( 1 from Human Resources and the other from my supervisor)
paystubs - will continue putting them together until the interveiw
Consulate letter- my bank letter was the easiest to get , I called them today and for $20 they will put together a 'Consulate letter ' for me- surprisingly th eguy knew what I was talking about.

Is there anything am missing from the income evidence- I will not be providing any asset( shoot I ain't got none)

I wrote a letter explaing why my salary othe Human resources letter differs from my total income- Has anyone ever done this?

I would say tell him to try and get his tax transcript from the IRS for that year.
Fax it that way you wont have to wait fo rthem to get it than wait on it to arrive.

I faxed my request and in abot 2 weeks I had the transcpripts.

So I know this is for US immigration, but I was here in the past trying to do that, and then switched to Canada immigration; anywho, Got the approval letter today, Passport requested, all done!! In just 3 months. Pretty coolio!!

hcj-He wont I told him to go an dget another advice but he claims that it is the best lawyer in his hometown and he believes him. He have been separated from his wife all this time however they have been working together to get him his papers. I guess he just realized that she really does not want to get back with him ( she know has a new boyfriend).

Good morning all,
on a personal note for those of you know me I am waiting on my interveiw :wacko: :o :ranting: .

I have a friend who got married a few years ago well his wife has been acting strange and about 1 year ago she walked out on him and moved to Florida. They have been in contact however even though they tried working things out, things went SOUR. He has filed for a divorce but while the process was in effect he got a letter stating that he needs to go in for an interveiw to remove conditions. His lawyer told him that he showed ignore the letter and not go in for it, stay put and when he refinds someone remarry and refile. But, I think the lawyer is wrong, that to me is straigh up fraud. I need your help because even though I am telling him it is fraud and he can and will be in big trouble with UNCLE SAM he won't believe me. Can someone please shed some light my way?
I told him that seeing that he let the paper worked get denied and he is only on a conditioonal green card he will get in SERIOUS trouble if he gets pulled over or arreested because he is now out of status..am I right? or its thw lawyer right and my friend is ok? Help him out please?

I too am goign through the VSC. I have been touched yesterday(5-22) they sent theeamil notification this mornign , but still nothing, with the 12/05 processing date we probably wont be hearing anything anytine soon even though CR1/IR1 are said to not be interferred by IMBRA :crying: :help: :help: :crying: :crying: :crying: . I went ahead and added the K3 -visa to it in hopes that it will be approved very soon.

Please do not count from when your case ARRIVED at the Embassy. Just count from the date your case was COMPLETED at the NVC to the date of your interview in Kingston.

finally recieved the snail mail I797 that the case was transfer with a notice date of July 6,2006 at least the receipt date stays the same ( 4/8/06).
Ane of you guys got word about the K3 RFE?

Thought maybe you might want to add Dinu to your list as well so thats five so far.

Read a couple of k-1's from texas got sent to Vermont.
Looks like they're shuffling things around to try to handle all the backlog.
Hopefully this wont hurt us all as CSC is already so slow at processing anything.

well its good to know there are a few of us but I still would like to know WHY???????? One person responded to my original post in the K3 section and said it happened to them a year ago and that they were approved soon after. So hopefully this is all a good thing for us!!??

I tried calling the 949 # that they give when you call the 800 # but it is disconnected- go figures.

after getting the RFE for my I129F on Saturday, I went to check my profiles on the USCIS website-no change but to my surprise I had 2 emails sayingthat my I130 has been sent to california, this must mean more wait time? Or should I be happy?????????

I sent my I-130 form to Vermont 7 months ago(as I am from NJ). Today I receive email, its been trasferred to california service center .

It hapened to me too. I think they are doing this with every body cause I saw other cases that were transferred too, but don´t worry because a month after they transferred my case it was approved. Good luck!



It happened to me too, but I would also agree don't worry too much in a matter of 2 weeks I had an approval. But I can't believe you said 7 months wow. Keep your fingers cross they are shelling out approval like crazy, seems like they are trying to get rid of the backlog.

Hey, I barely recognize you now that you don't look so desperate! When the perma-grin wears off, we'd like to know if you'll keep the K3 in play, just in case it might still turn out to be the fast lane we all expected. Could happen. Pigs could fly, right?

I am off my high ....well kind of. I will definately keep the K3 going, It might get to the embassy way before the I130. I have been reading and see were the I130 can take up to 2 months @ NVC. I am waiting 14 days before I really start doubting the K3 ( they claim it takes 14 days to process the RFE-so 8/11-I129F approval ??????????????????????).
I never thought the I130 would be approved before September so if we look out the window ( well I don't have one in my office- I guess I have to imagine that I have one) we might just see the little purple pigs flying way up there in the greenish sky......... :lol: ( this is a :secret:.....don't report me I have been missing from Bellevue since Monday night)

I am wondering. At this point (after initial I130 approval) the backgound/security checks (which can cause a delay) are pretty much over with? Now it's a matter of formality/processing, getting the app through the NVC and the to the consulate and bringing all of your documentation with you? How do you find out what the wait is for an interview? I went to the US consulate site for us and I couldn't find it. Also, anyone else having to pay $9.95 to schedule an interveiw appointment via online system or $2 an hour to call their consulate via a "1-900" number? That seems crazy to me. Guess it probably cuts down on telephone calls, though.

yeah basically that is whatit boils down to getting this through the NVC to the embassy to schedule the date for the big interview.
I found out through asking other members who went through the same embassy as me, but also if you go to the embassy info at the top of the page it should bring you to your embassy and most likely it will tell you.
I am not sure how much it cost to schedule and appointment, I haven't checked that out yet, should be a little fee not much, but paying $2 to all via a 900 # does not sound right. I could be wrong though.

I just had a premination and decided to call the 800 number tocheck on the case, I was shock to hear that the RFE for the I129 was received..finally :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: , bu twhat really got me was when I tried the I130 number. It said THIS PETITION WAS APPROVED ON JULY 24, 2006 :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:, oh my god I cannot believe it, I got approved. What a load.

Of all the recent approvals I think I am the only transferee from VSC to CSC to get it. In a few days there will be more response though.
