But all I can say is: Keep checking the online status and as long as there is the error message, then I would say no approval, one day all of a sudden you will be shocked and see its approved! On February 25, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service. We were never able to check our status online and of course I tried everyday...did it this morning and still got the error. Maybe call the USCIS to see if they forwarded it to the NVC, cuz if they did..means its lost in the mail maybe. We got approved 2 days before you and we got already packet 3, returned that, got packet 4 yesterday with the interview date, April 16... Just call the uscis..cant hurt...nvc usually is pretty fast! Idk about ur consulate..could also call them to see if they got anything...but i dont htink the nvc makes a mistake in saying they didnt get it yet. Good luck!! hope it will all be ok soon! Thanks ESoll You have to speek with a person at NVC, sometimes the lines are busy but my fiance got through the first time he called. Approved Nov 25, and our case left NVC March 3rd. We think we found our package by DHL and are tracking it on the way to amsterdam, its almost at the embassy! The NVC will give you a new casenumber so i dont think you can check the online system. Im not sure. Your new case number will start with the letters from the consulate it will be forwarded to. Hope this helps. Most likeley your case is forwarded to your consulate already. They gave u any vaccinations or not? Just curious how it all goes cuz thats the upcoming step by us;) Our case should be soon at the consulate now. To Beckysharpe, we were approved 25th and yesterday my fiance called around 5 in the afternoon (his time in New Jersey) and it did take a while before he was talking to somebody, but seemed to work and they told him the case was gone to the embassy already;) Good luck with calling and im sure you will hear good news soon! I just mailed the I-751 application with my current address on it, included a copy of the AR-11 and never mentioned anything else about it. I won't get to excited yet, since I can't check the update with their site down, but I refuse to call the misinformation line. I guess after waiting 3 months (short by 1 day) I can wait a little longer. LOL, anyone knows how long they take to fix IT-issues, hope they are a little quicker with that than reviewing applications. Letty I didn't have to wait to long. We received our NOA 1 and ASC Appointment Notice quickly but the biometrics are not scheduled until the end of March. I should go back and quote that but I'm lost on the new format and I fear change. Thank you for everyone who provided answers on the drivers license question. I would call them but per past experiences phoning our lovely DMV I will get someone who doesn't know the answer to my "complicated" question and will push me off to a series of other representatives that also don't know their butt from a hole in the .... so I think we are just going to stop in and bring the proper papers with us after his biometrics appointment. I was reading the ASC Appt Notice and something someone posted here about scratches and was curious what that is about? The notice says "open wounds or bandages/casts when you appear" but not scratches/minor injuries. In my husband's line of work he's constantly scratched, calloused, and generally rough on his hands. If he has scratches, they won't conduct biometrics? What about scratches on the backs of his hands? I think I better get him some gloves asap! Tunisia, I had my bio yesterday and one of the first things you had to do was showing the inside of your hands. I do office work so no problem for me, but I imagine there are people who use there hands a little more then I do. You can look on the USCIS site where your ASC might be: https://egov.uscis.g...office_type=ASC At the bottom of the page you can enter your zipcode and it will show you which office you most likely have to go to.
