Ok since we are on the subject of Sponge Bob I just gotta ask your opinions as we have debated this with friends over and over, lol, we have no life.

So he lives in a pineapple under the sea...in a town called bikini bottom.

NOW....if you have ever watched the cartoon, you will see those flowers that are always in the background. i mean does he actually live in a bikini bottom? ewwwww..

Middle East and North AfricaWhen you marry or married your SO...
I took my husband's last name :)
Here's another thing. We sent money to his mother, and i wanted to put our last name after her first name and he told me no since his father has passed away she has to go back to using her maiden name since she doesn't have a husband anymore.
I thought that was a little strange but i guess that is how it is there in Jordan.

Mustapha is Ok. I am talking to him everyfew hours. I will call him in an hour to check in.

You know the only people who can understand right now is the Palestinian People. The lebanese and the Palestenian people have been going through this for decades. May God Protect us all.

Allhamdullah that everyone is ok here, Jess and LB. Please keep checking in. Inshallah this is over soon and everyone stays safe and sound.

So true. May god keep your families safe.

Yeah but my birth certificate says Iam Muslim ..and the translation too

Yeah Rebecca what you said is very true ..that's why I noticed in the embassy by being there 3 times ..Christian is definetly getting it so easy ..do you see any one here in ME from Egypt and married to Christian and waiting on AR/AP I doubt it!!!

 we will find out on Feb 27, 2007.

 and I'll be waiting with my dabka shoes on :luv:

Middle East and North AfricaAR/AP processing times in EGYPT

I also think Christian males get it too really easy.because I know someone he is male and he had DCF and he got approved the same day and got teh visa without any Ap or AR even though...so listen to this they married in the 14 Feb and they filed a DCF 2 weeks later so that should be at the beging of March and he ahd his intevriew in 24 April I think and he was approved the same day and got the visa too....
his wife is a friend of Mark's friend that how we get to know them

You are right about that Salwa, My husband met this guy from egypt and he's christian and he got his K3 approved very quickly. He told my husband it didn't take too long for him to get his visa..

have to add as soon as my husband heard the egyptian guys name he knew he was christian. Guess they just know the difference.

How exciting Andrea! Finally you'll be with your husband, no more being apart :)
I will never forget when my husband came over and when I met him in the airport. When I seen his face and he seen mine. I seen all the tension and stress leave his face and he grabbed me and we hugged each other seemed like forever. It was a very happy reunion for us. I wish you the same and remember all the time apart fades, and you don't even seem to remember it after a while. Wishing you a joyous reunion with Faisal.

Middle East and North AfricaMonday

I may be taking a break from VJ for awhile. I emailed the Embassy again, and again was not replied to. I'm just getting to the point where I'm not sleeping, not knowing what's happening with our case, and I think I need to distance myself from all this so I can cope with the rest of my life gracefully. I may wander through a bit but I just don't know yet.

Hope everyone's week is off to a good start.

I can empathize with you Jean :( The not knowing and the waiting are the worst and it can be so stressful. It feels like your life is in a void right now and in someways has completely stopped. Take some time for yourself and your family and start doing all the little jobs that you think needs to be done. It's difficult at first to try to stop worrying about your husband's case, but it's out of your hands and at this point there is nothing you can do about it, but wait for the embassy to answer. Take care yourself!!!

Middle East and North AfricaJust a little something to make you think
Awww Noura that was a nice post. Made me think. Me and Anmar have been so busy working these days that when he asks me to go out for a coffee I say I am too tired :( That use to be one of our favorite things to do in Jordan. We would go out for coffee or tea at one of the many cafe places. We would just sit there and enjoy our time together and talk and to be honest I miss those times being alone with him just drinking coffee and listening to arab music. Next time he asks I'll say yes with hesitating :)

I'm thinking I should break out the sage and ' smudge' myself, recite a few incantations, but the neighbours might call in the cavalry. Oh well, better to die on your feet, than to live on your knees.........

I took that comment as better to die fighting then giving up.

He better put himself in that recycling container with the nagging bitches because every day he's arguing with women and trying to get the last word. I am beginning to think he's a woman trapped in the man's body. Anyone else think that??

Wow...I won't even START my process until the beginning of this January and I'm already sad thinking that most of you might be gone 'cause you'll all be done with your visa process and there won't be anymore fun catfights here!

:(

Don't worry people come and go, but when you get a group of women together with diverse opinions there will always be catfights.. :pop:
