Middle East and North Africa	Monthly Thread April 2011	ok so this has been bothering me since yesterday..i am a surgical nurse..and i worked with this doctor yesterday and he asked where my name was from and of course i say i my husband is Jordanian..and all of he said does he carry bombs..he totally caught me off guard and i am standing with my surgical patient unconcious with anthesia and my scrub tech.. i just look at him like what the f*uck.. and eariler i said to him. i was a patient of yours i had a miscarriage totally didn't remember. The whole time just being professional ..and after that incident i was in the break room eating and he comes in there asking if my husband plays soccer and if he would like to come play on sundays..i was like this conversation is stupid..and then he goes well your native american do you know of this book..and me i was like yeah i know ..blah blah..and my husband works sundays.. it was so surreal.. later i ccome home didn't say anything to my husband about the incident at work..and i get a phone call and it's the doctor apolozing for what he said cuz i was still new and he shouldn't have been teasing me.. I was like yeah when you said that i thought maybe it was a slip of the tongue..and it's not like i heard something similar..thanks for calliing me and apologiziing.. and today some of the staff asked me what happen...now i feel all weird and ######... ok just want to vent..Not tell whole story but just ###### weird..makes me mad sorry for the typos.. I would love for him to get his citizenship and not have to deal with immigration anymore. I am interested to see how many people go ahead and get citizenship after year 3 or how many keep renewing their 10 year card. What kind of proof would you have to submit after 10 years? Hi Amanda just look at the check list on the usis site..not as much info you need to send..waiting again is what takes the longest can't remember the fee husband paid it . My husband has his interview and passed and got his citizenship the same day. Not sure how the immigration office is in your state on citizenship oath same day or wait for an oath day. Good luck! Middle East and North Africa	Thursday	Happy Thursday everyone ( I will learn everyones name soon) I am soooooooooooooooooooo happy it is Thursday cos tomorrow is the last of day elections in Safi Morocco, I have become a election widow that few weeks as he was involved with it... .. just called him and wowwow the excitment in the back ground I wish I was there....... they are in the streets walking and chanting wowowo .. yeah one more day and i get my huney back online........ !!! hey i watched a really good movie last night CROSSING OVER with Harrison Ford & Ashley Judd...... very intense movie about several families in the LA dealing with the immigration process... i cried thur most it.. some nudity(beware)... Impressed they did not portrait ICE as the good guys it wass really intense at points... Middle East and North Africa	Tatoo Discussion	Niether of us do or ever wants one in the future.... actually that was the one of the first questions his family asked me when i arrived in Morocco... they were extremely relieved i had none and wanted none. I did not even want henna when we became engaged (which pleased his mother tremondously)henna is beautiful though .. not for me sorry.. My daughter however got her first one on her 19 birthday a few weeks ago and i went with her to the tatoo place and I cried like a baby. it is just sooooo permament and it so profiles ppl ( not as it used to though which is good) the guys at he shop were so nice calming me down and assuring me she would be fine and she can hide it for interviews and blah blah ..... i told them i would have cried even if it was my sons.... they tried to convince me to get a small one ... I am just being lazy this weekend last week was a week from HECK>>> the VP and other big wigs were to come for a visit (Big Lots) so we worked over board to get the store ready and worked everybody into a nervous wreck.....then they DID NOT even show up....aaaaarghhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... So I will give the associates a pizza lunch on on freight day in my apprecaition for all they did. But dog gone it our store looked soooooo good for them LOLOL. we all needed the pat on the back !!!! sorry to vent just I am still peeved...LOLOL oh well what can u do .... Middle East and North Africa	Sending Packages to Morocco	I personally have not had any trouble sending anything to Safi Morocco, I just sent a box full of summer toys , misc.. birthday gifts..... it took about 15 days.. he just had to go to the post custom areas and sign for it.. he did not pay anything either...!! Everything I ever sent in almost 2 years has arrived in a good timely matter. Just 1 one time they refused delivery cos I put a the family nick name for his sister and they still refused after many attempts to proove her identity.. They even showed them the parcel but refuse to give it to her...ARGHHHHHH but my mistake.... they are to return it to me at the end of 60 days if no one proves the identity.I dont beleiev I will ever see the parcel again but we will see... Now when Azzeddine sends me letters I have not recieved them all I think there r about 3 post floating somewhere,,,, I too am thinking about these important papers going there....I hope your papers arrive in a timely matter... HI everyone, I have a vivid memory of my dreams too, many feel like deja vue ,many repeat this freaks me out cos i tend to think it has a some meaning to it....I have a book on dreams but it makes NO sense to me ... , Hey are then any of us from NERASKA SERVICE CENTER.... I have a customer that comes in weekly, today she told me they are pretty well caught up .. so that could be good news for some waiting in the branch.... I wish she could more helpful in my questions but hmm she must be sworn to secretcy !! believe me I have tried but I gave up awhile ago but she did give me that bit of INFO.. I told her I belong to this great site and she said she heard of it... BUt once again she clamed up quickly... any hoo,,,, everyone have a great weekend.... 6 days and counting for RAMADAN>>>> yippeee I love it !!!!!!!!!! well for the most part, just hate being the only one amongst co workers and most friends that dont fast..... THEY DONT GET IT ...... but most are supportive.... We have all made this mistake to over look a injury a time or two...l!!! You will not receive separate notification of the interview date from USCIS. Ok so when he gets his packet he will have his interview date in it. I was reading somewhere, cant remember where, a link someone sent me, and it said he should receive his packet in about 3-4 weeks after receiving the NOA2. I feel as nervous now as I did getting all the papers together for the initial petition. Im soo afraid I will do something wrong, or not do enough. Sorry everyone for all the questions... Im a basket of nerves since I got my NOA2. For all those waiting, Im sure your NOA2 will come anyday now. I emailed them about a question I had on the uscis website and I received a response back that they were still working on the March cases. And I received that just about 3 weeks ago. So at the time I did not expect to hear anything on my case for another month and a half atleast. Then suddenly I got the email stating my NOA2 was approved, so evidently they're catching up.
