That in itself is not worth the trouble. Of course we congratulate people or try to give moral support through typed words. Sometimes what we communicate on here is really not how we communicate in person. With that typed Don't take things personally even though you feel it is to you because it probably most likely wasn't meant that way. I know for a long time we had a little safe haven here where just us gals from the middle east and north africa just hung out and nobody else from the other forums would even bother coming here. Middle East and North Africa	Do they really?	You know.... there's a good chance it's not USCIS at all. Many countries other than the U.S. spy on their own people (or people they have under occupation.) It's quite common in a lot of Muslim countries... including Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Libya, Syria, and many more. And it's not just the Muslim countries. Israel is notorious for it.... I used to get hack attempts from the Ministry of Defense in Haifa. I have some acquaintances who do this type of surveillance on contract for the U.S. government. Always remember that anything you say or do on the internet can be monitored by a third party. If they know who you are and are interested in your activities -- whether it's e-mail, chat, web cam, mic, whatever -- nothing is guaranteed "private," even encrypted stuff. -MK Belzabt! I wouldn't add pictures here for the simple fact there are a lot of psychos out there and I wouldn't want anyone getting hold of that. Good question VPL. Philippines	Filipinos Against Arizona Immigration Law SB1070	People here should support this law. Most of us here are going through or went through the process of LEGAL immigration. It's costly, stressful and a long process...so why should we support people who cheat the laws? For those of you who's wife or husband received their green card...it says right on the USCIS paper for him/her to keep the green card on them at all times! It's the law...and it's not racist. If you went to Mexico and overstayed they would either A) Deport you or B)Throw you in their hell-hole prison and then deport you. The AZ law says if a cop has reasonable suspicion and is enforcing another law...they can investigate whether or not that person is illegal? There's no aspect of this law that's racist. I agree with your last post that my wife should meet other friends that aren't necessarily Filipinos, BUT...where my wife works the people are all wild crazy party people and she doesn't relate at all. We don't drink and party so we don't fit into that group. I guess it's just easier for her to make friends with Filipinas because they can relate more closely with each other...and speak their language...that's understandable. Here's the honest truth that I have discovered: I don't associate myself at all with stuck up people who only want friends with good paying jobs and social status. I could care less about those people. But when my wife started meeting a few Filipinos here and there (some at work, some in public), MOST of them act like they are rich, even like how a millionaire would act. It's disgusting. They have to drive the nicest cars, wear the most expensive clothes and jewelry...and they only seem to talk about how much they have and how great they are. I know there's an American dream to have things you couldn't necessarily have in another country, but it seems that immigrants here go crazy with materialism if they have the means to. I'm not knocking on immigrants because I know a lot of great Filipinos here too...but this problem we've encountered a lot! We went to an Asian festival this past May and there was a Filipina lady selling things and my wife was excited to talk to someone who speaks her language. Philippines	Filipinas in central Ohio??	Hello, I am married to a Filipina and am living in Columbus Ohio...things have been going great there except for one thing. We've lived here for 9 months and the wifey hasn't met any Filipina friends. Any Filipinas from central Ohio that are looking to meet new friends?
