K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2009 K-1 Filers	Hi there! Happy New year!! Ok, so here is the plan now. After talking to my fiance we have agreed to some kind of plan. All this paperwork is being handled by my ex's family and our family friends in India. They are doing the running around and getting the documents couriered to my fiance. So, the document from the kazi (priest) stating our divorce had already arrived a few days back. The hold up is a sworn statement confirming the religious divorce signed by my ex since it has his signature. My fiance thought it was necessary to have this document in case the embassy also asks for this. But, since the courier delivery from UAE to India is taking too long we are going to submit the certificate from the kazi on Tuesday, and we will send the additional document from my ex afterwards whenever it arrives. Seriously, they have the civil divorce decree with the signatures and it confirms the date of the religious, so it seems like this is just a formality for their clarity. Now no more delays and we are submitting what we have and praying for positive results. Congrats to everybody else on their progress!! Star Star- Sounds like you are on track, and I would really be surprised if you experienced any more issues with the embassy after you submit the additional paperwork. Keep us posted!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2009 K-1 Filers	We are still waiting for the documents to be couriered to my fiance. Everything is prepared and signed. Our petition expires 1/31/2010. The letter to extend was already sent to them Dec 21, 2009. I finally got one respond from them informing me that they are doing administrative processing and well contact me once its finished. Technically meaning waiting for documents and will make decision once they recieve it. Star - Hope everything gets handled soon. I'm sure it'll be wrapped up by the end of the month, at the latest, don't you think? Chaz - Glad the visa is delivered and your flight rearrangement wasn't too terrible. We all want to wish you a successful journey, and as EOTR said I will update you if I hear anything. But, ever since the 221g its been a battle for me. I am doing everything in my power, and some things are just out of my hand. I am not in India so we have our family friends working to get the religious divorce decree from my ex. I have no control on what is going on there, and they now for sure tell us that it will be ready by next week. My approval expires on 1/31/2010. Yes, that gives me a month right if we send it out next week, and why am I so worried. I have called and emailed the embassy numerous times. I don't get much cooperation from them. I even sent them a letter via UPS asking them to extend the validity, and clarifying the questions they asked my fiance. There is not much more I can do at my end. Still everyday I come up with more and more ideas. My fiance is so frustrated as well and in addition we both have ill parents we are taking care of. So, everything is going in the works just wish I had more confidence. But, there is that tiny glimpse of hope that I am holding on too, and it getting smaller every day. I just want all of you to keep me and EOTR in your prayers and hope that we can reunite with our loved ones soon. I hope you hear something next week. All your medical information is enclosed in the brown envelope which was handed in at the POE. The envelope is then forwarded on to USCIS where it will be consolidated with the I-485 submission, once received. If you received a copy of the Vaccination Documentation Worksheet (Form DS-3025) from your Panel Physician, you may include a copy of that form in your AOS submission in place of Form I-693." Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	I-751 November 2011 Filers	Where can you find the last touched date? If you look online at USCIS.gov, just look at the date in the "Last Updated" column. This was the day your file was officially "touched". For our ROC, I am still seeing November 26, 2001. This just means they haven't had a reason to scan our number/application since November. When we applied for the fiance visa, our file was "touched" several times before approval, and then again the day before our approval was mailed out. Our AOS was touched when they mailed out an RFE, and then again when it was approved. I would just take the "touch", IF it happens with a grain of salt and think "Oh, they are looking at my file". Normally, if it's still marked "initial review" then they haven't approved it yet. But sometimes things aren't all up-to-date on the website. Edited by Lisa and Ian, 15 May 2012 - 03:03 PM. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	I-751 November 2011 Filers	The letter we received on plain copy paper without watermark, or any official seals or color, just black ink on plain paper, was from the Lincoln Nebraska USCIS office of Homeland Security. It listed a Ref: number, a date and then a title: VERIFICATION OF INCLUSION OF A DEPENDENT IN FILING OF FORM I - 751 It listed - the Principal Alien - the Principal's Receipt Number: WACxxxxxxxxxx - the Principal's A-NO: xxx-xxx-xxx It then said that the dependent was included in the ROC request and that the letter was sufficient to (along with her 'alien registration receipt card') to work and travel for a year or until a decision was made, which ever was sooner. It says nothing about the NOA for my wife and nothing about the biometrics. So you are still waiting for your wife's NOA1, which will be more informative as to what happens next. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	I-751 November 2011 Filers	So you are saying that the 13 character "WAC" number on my daughter's is not a tracking number? It meets the tracking number criteria. I know it looks like a tracking number, but it is not. My husband just read me the NOA1 we received today and it specifically said that the actual tracking number will appear on the biometrics appointment form. Does yours not say that? Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	I-751 November 2011 Filers	Additionally, I logged into the USCIS "My Case Status" website and tried to register the receipt number... just like the last time with the AoS, it told me that the number was not in the system. We never saw our number appear in the system until after our green card had been approved last time! The letter should tell you that your case tracking number will appear on your Biometrics Appointment letter. It's a different number altogether. Also... we received our NOA1 today (yay!)
