US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionWho should write the employment verification letter?
My company is quite large, and they do some kind of 'automated' employment verification letter. I still think I am going to visit my local HR and get something else from them directly to have with me, just in case. :)

Because I can't stand him?

Right, but how would they know that (and more importantly, why would they care)?

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionOngoing Relationship...

You should retain copies in case they're lost. Think about it; you would have no evidence in that case......

I have all our chats and emails on disk.

I would print some of those chats and emails from the disk. Don't expect the CO to pop that in the computer and view them during the interview (or keep the disc with the file for later reference).

Personally, if you have other proof of an ongoing relationship, I would not risk it. What is a cute 'joke' to you may look very different to someone at the consulate.

I 134, Bank letter, letter from employer, and if self employed, tax returns (I believe now they only require 1 year back, but someone can check me on that).

You could email LondonConsular@state.gov , too.

Depends on what country you're from. They should send you that information when you receive Packet 3. But she can likely expect to include at least a letter from her employer and a letter from her bank.

I think Becca is right. The consulate in question does make a difference, I'm sure, but I think most often, the non USC attends the interview on their own.

I am hoping to go to my fiance's when the time comes, but I'm starting to think that I'd rather save that time and money to help him finish packing, and fly back to our home with him in tow. (L)

I think the OP is asking about the visa fee at her consulate, not the fee to file the I 129F petition.

If you can't find out the fee from the 'embassy info' link at the top of the page, daphne, then I would email your consulate and ask.

Here's the link I mean. It says 85 Euros. Naples consulate

Same with the UK.

If he's really bothered by it, shell out some $$ to order one for himself. Then he'd know exactly what it says and can be prepared for it at the interview.

US Embassy and Consulate Discussionwells fargo Bank being difficult!!!
I believe you can also take a year's worth of bank statements in as evidence. Those should give a rough estimate of the amounts of the deposits in the past year. 'Do the math' yourself on a sheet attached to the statements right behind the bank letter.

If your bank is not cooperating, that may be the only option you have.

Hello All -

if you are Legal Permanent Resident who submit the application/s in OCT 2010 or FEB 2011, approved already and cases are in NVC, lets update and help each other.

Alright so keep us all updated in a timely fashion. This will be a great place for people who filed around the specified time frame. We are seeking consistency and and ask you to not just look/read but have a voice... Have a say.

I suggest everyone who is interested with his/her case to signup in the profile/notification section so you can receive updates as soon as they are posted. This will benefit you as you are not behind a month or more in the process because the updates will be emailed..

I also suggest everyone to update their timelines AND go to each other's profiles and click the "follow timeline" link located at the top left corner of the profile under the member's picture box I believe. This would help to let us know again where we might need to be and avoid minor questions.

I will give my imputs to be accurate, genuine and fair and we we will post any information I feel would benefit this thread. If anyone needs help changing your settings please ask someone in a private or public message. Thank you.

I'm waiting for a case closed at nvc!!! pulling my hair out, we replied to an rfe 2 weeks ago. they asked for hubby's business license. we sent them the license and a recent invoice as proof of self-employment. If that's all they asked for I should get a case closed right? no more rfe's right?

No need to pull your hair out... you'll end up bald.

Usually the case file had been fully reviewed and one letter sent requesting additional evidence. Usually that's the end of it. To prevent a case from delayed (back/fourth), it could still be scheduled for an interview with notes in the interview letter requesting that missing documents be presented at the interview. enjoy

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Proceduresdoes USCIS send notice to beneficiary?

The only time the beneficiary is contacted is after case complete at NVC. He will get an email giving the interview date and he prints that and takes it for his medical and interview appointment.

A thectuallly beneficiary is notified when the case arrives at the NVC STAGE not after the case is approved. Remember NVC request documents from the applicant/beneficiary before the case is approved/completed and sent to the consulate.

Sorry, to file an I-129F petition, requires you have a NOA-1, receipt notice, on the I-130.

You don't have that.

Darnell.. The I129/I130 can be filed together.. what is the purpose/benefit if the I129 will be closed once it gets to the NVC?

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Proceduresafter the interview

I am not putting anything on their mariage and I know it goes back years for older Amrican woman marrying younger Jacan man and it's was a problem then and is still is a problem now when immigration is involved. I am not judging their marriage I just said that sometime the CO already have there minds made up that the marriage is fake bcuz of the age difference. They don't bother to look at the evidence I said in my post earlier, "that their denial was probably predetermined". Yeah you right when you said the average Jacan can't afford to get married yes they can't afford it if they are having a big wedding. At peace be for real how many Jacan young men you know wants to get married at age 22 even if they can afford it. This is probably what the CO are looking at. Jacan men are already judge for using older American woman to get to the US thats just the way it is looked upon. I am not sterotyping anyone situation it's not me anyone needs to worrying about sterotyping it's the CO bcuz sad to say it's what they say that counts. You are correct when you said long distance relationship can raise a red flag even the perfect relationship don't last that is the way of life.

I fully agree. I have a few friends who are males and are bewteen 18-24 5% of them are not married... The average 24 year old man in jamaica is NOT married. Take a sample of 50 random men in the country 18-24... You would be lucky to find 2 of those men in that age group who are married. If not having money is the hold back then so it is. Worst yet.... Not getting into a knot with a older woman unless there is some benefit that's not sexual... Examples for the slow in mind... Money ... Living space... Green card.... Then if she's pushing the bond... She'll get what she wanted in the first place.

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Proceduresafter the interview

Caramel, again you are putting your perspective on her marriage, if you would bother to read the yardie thread, it goes back years and you will noticed that most of the marriages were of older woman to younger men and a lot of those marriages are still in tact. To answer your question regarding the average JA man I would say "The average Jamaican man can't afford to be married in Jamaica, hence therefore he isn't going to marry anyone." Again, I refuse to stero type anyone or any situation.

Everything and anything in a long distance relationship can raise a red flag, I have seen where those who think they have the "perfect relationship" i.e regarding age, culture , marriage don't last. Those that you least expect to last, turn out to surrive other's judgement.

51... 24.. what do they really have in common... the bruh just got legal to drink... she's probably thru having kids... i hope and dont went thru some things*... that's how i see it.. 50/20... a difference and less eye catching than 30/60 ... just so it seems... i'm calling it as a realist... op..others might be upset but a suh it go... curve bal was thrown... nothing else to do until the info gets to uscis and all will come to the light maybe

Hello, I have an upcoming interview date on Monday with Dr. Althea Banbury at the Medical Associates Hospital. I would like to ask those persons who have done their medical already:

1. What was your medical experience like?

in short - they wrk very slow and without much care

2. How long do I have to wait until I get my medical package? Same day or other?

definitely not the same day.. they don't wrk that fast. more like 3-5 days

3. Do I have to fill out the vaccination section of the Medical Health form beforehand?

your choice but it must be completed as it is a requirement

I am so excited that we're finally at the last stages!!! So what was your experience like?
