Hey all,

Well I've been looking through people's posts on this website and I can't believe how many people are getting there NOA2 so fast! Are they just lucky or did they do something special with their petition? We are expecting 5-6 months before I can return to the US.

All of the speedy approvals that were reported here were regular members who submitted their case just normal - not expedited.

People try to save you money - if you want to needlessly spend money to get the police report twice - more power to you. But telling people to get over it isn't gonna get you a whole lot of help when you need it - Good luck on the rest of your process since you seem to know it all already -


Exactly and Sus you know me well.. and a few other members.. I wont touch this person's post with a long stick.. help and in a time when help seems scarce in this section. You can rush / or other things that are beneficial as mentioned - get shots/shot records, proper Birth Cert. etc.

Runna is going for his Police Record today. Arrival @ Duke St 630AM receipt ticket #4 then off to Oxford Rd. More details as the process continues (ie questions, comments, etc)

This make no sense. A person who started the process 2 weeks ago have 8 more months to GO and already trying to obtain a police clearance - this is straight mad. Desperation.

I am not trying to burst your bubble but it may be a little early to get the police certificate.....I am not trying to be a negative person, just real. You just started the visa process and someone please tell me if I am wrong in stating that the police cert is only good for 6 months.....we got our police cert a few weeks ago and we are just at about the 5 month mark and nervous we did it to soon.....plan on your fiance being in kingston ALL waiting......i know we were to apply and then my husband was there all day to pick up and still wasnt ready and had to go back the next day.....


It's way tooo EARLY .. you aint gottta explain. I'm not a negative person but dont owe an explain just give what info I have .. they dont like it then - as is.

hi, my wife is filing for the i-485 - adjustment of status. i made a check to pay for it but now i'm thinking that since SHE is filing it, maybe i'm not allowed to pay for it? the check doesn't have her name on it anywhere. i'm not sure. please advise. thanks in advance.

I sincerely do not understand why people keep calling the 1-800 number:

1. they either need to just wait until their documents are processed, and the customer care can't do anything, or
2. they have a major problem in their application, and the customer care can't do anything.

Either way, it's a huge waste of time.
