K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2013 Filers	Thanks so much for the suggestion!    Unfortunately, I've filed a service request, spoke to a Tier 2 representative a week, filed an inquiry with the Ombudsman's Office, and am in the process of engaging my Congressional rep...   I can only hold out hope that the latter might yield some speedy results, as all the others have told me the "our file looks like it's on track (no RFE or anything) and I should keep waiting, should be soon", "wait 30 days for outcome of service request", or 45 in the case of the Ombudsman.    You can probably imagine I'm at my wit's end here. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2013 Filers	Hi all -    So a quick update:    Per your suggestions (thank you!), I called customer service and requested to speak to a Tier 2 representative regarding our case since we're 5mo+ from the NOA1 (i.e. past the estimated processing time). She transferred my call with no objection and I was put on hold for an estimated 62 minutes (ouf!). Then something miraculous happened. I decided to take my chances with the call-back option (you give your name and phone number and then call you when you get to the head of the line). Lo and behold about 45 minutes later, someone actually called back!!!! I was shocked, but pleasantly so : ) Use this option if it's given, for sure...   Anyway, result of the conversation being that apparently everything looks on track for our file (no sneaky RFEs lurking, it seems, yay!) and that they are currently working on EXACTLY our date ( i.e mid-September 2013) at the TSC.  I know some of you will remain skeptical because of Igor's list and all the petitioners with later dates who have already been approved, but hey, I'll take whatever leads I can get at this point. Is that right? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2013 Filers	Annie arrived safely in the US on Sunday! No problems clearing immigration or changing planes in Newark. If her flight would have been 1-day earlier, she would have been stuck in Newark by herself. Funny how fate works. We had a great day today shopping at the mall and grocery store. Also went to Home depot to get a tropical indoor plant. My fiance been cut in his job because of company problem and now of a sudden he has no work. What will I do? I'm very very upset. I don't know what to do. please help!!! Thank you. Hi Kath&Tom, I think as long as you have two recent pay stubs as well as last years tax returns, you will be fine.  I changed jobs a month before my fiancé's interview and I was worried about having to change info on the forms.  Instead, we just went ahead as if nothing had changed.  They just accepted the pay stubs from my old job and she was approved. I would make sure the date on the I-134 is before your fiancé lost his job so that way when it was filled out the information was correct. The info that was filled out on the G-325 was accurate when it was filled out since that was a few months ago. I think you will be ok but that is just from my own experiance. Never thought September filers would go through this process so quickly compared to wait times earlier last year.   I had my medical exam 2 days ago and I'm waiting for the results to be logged. Our CEAC status was last updated on January 15, 2014 to " READY" case open  and it says check after 2 business days, its been 4 working days already and there's no update, ive been emailing the US embassy but i get the same answer every now and then " your passport is still with the embassy" please check at a later date.   Anyone who experienced the same? Thanks.     Case Creation Date: 15-Jan-2014 Status Updated Date: 15-Jan-2014     Your case is open. When did you two met? Where was he born? Are his parents alive? (only his Mom is) What's her name? Have you met her? Have you met her husband? Where are they living? Where is my fiance working? how does he get to work? (by car) What car does he have? What is normally is work schedule? What are your wedding plans?   .... ok, I will approve your visa!   There were 2 other women for K1 ahead of me and they were approved too.     Good luck everyone, hang in there, good thing are coming soon!! I know the waiting is driving everyone crazy, but have faith and just think that soon you will be with the one that you love!   Congratulations! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2013 Filers	Feeling very stressed today about some paperwork issues with Michelle's case. As soon as we got the NOA-2 she ordered a copy of her birth cert and Certificate of No Marriage so they would be ready for her interview. When we got the Packet 3 however, it said that those documents had to be sent from the NSO in the Philippines directly to the embassy. Knowing that would have saved some money, but no biggie...   So I go online and order the paperwork through eCensus on Dec 29. They say it will take 6-8 weeks unless I want to pay extra for a special courier that will only take 1 week. Michelle's interview is already scheduled for Jan 15th, so of course I sent the extra money. Just got a confirmation email this morning saying, "Thank you! Your order has been sent by regular post and should arrive in 6-8 weeks."   Very frustrating! We are trying to get the issue sorted out. Delaying the interview a week or two if we have to in order for the paperwork to arrive isn't a problem, but her work visa expires at the end of March and we both expected to have her out of the country by then. If her papers really won't arrive for 2 more months, that's a very difficult deadline we're going to run up against!   Annie went to the NSO herself and got the docs she needed.
