Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionI-751, no notice yet

I had my biometrics done July 11th and until now I haven't received any notice yet. I filed it to Nebraska.
Should I start to worry?

After the biometrics, you won't get any notice until they approve your case.

 What's the deal with Nebraska? Are they still working on petitions? ... almost 7 months and a half since NOA1 and still nothing... I was expecting my new GC before my trip to France in September but I think it won't be the case...

QUOTE (Waiting4GC @ Nov 13 2007, 12:01 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
I scheduled an infopass appt for tomorrow first thing in the morning to see what is taking so long with my I-751 approval. On Sep 14 was 1 year since my conditional PR card expired and it is way pass the normal processing time. I have already submitted my N-400 but I want to make sure the I-751 starts moving. I will let you know what "story" they come up with tomorrow. Wish me luck!!

Good luck! good.gif

Tell me about it. Filed the 751 package with VSC on May 29, check cashed, bio done in early July and not touched since then. It is frustrating to say the least that people have been filing in September and are being approved 2 months later!

K

but, why they let this happen???? this is not right... and why my case did not go to Cali too??? I filed in June 07

If your Conditional GC expires in March 2008, how come you applied for Removal of Conditions in January 2007? You should only have applied for Removal of Condition in December, 2007.

March 2008 because it was extended for 1 year from March 2007. Which is why I applied in Jan 2007 which is within 90 days from the 2 year anniv in March 2007.

You'll need to make an Infopass appointment in order to get a stamp in your passport at your local office which will extend your conditional residency for another year.

i will submit my I-751 this week, and when making copy of my 2 year green card, should the front and back page be altogether in one page or 2 pages separate? pls help me. thanks

I think it doesn't mater whether it is on the same page or on two pages... that would be the last thing I would worry about... anyway that is only my opinion.

Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussionwhy no update on the processing time lines???
Why do you guys care? Processing times for NSC are meaningless.
Anyway, i think nobody is working anymore out there (by the way, happy first anniversary! Today it's been one year since I sent my f...ing I-751)

you are not the only one. It looks like NSC hasn't been processing any I-751 since a few months; they are also liars since the processing dates posted are just bullsh*t.!

i dont know what you think, but if i am you, i will make an info pass appointment and talk to them PERSONALLY. There is no need to call that so called 1-800 number because they dont know anything. infopass is the only way to go....

Maybe just a waste of time... anyway i will think about it thanks for the advice.

I dont think they will approve us in one year and by that time we will be able to apply for citizenship.I think we should concentrate on citizenship application while 751 is pending and find out people here who applied for citizenship while their I-751 was pending and use this thread to collect that Infor mation.

Great idea

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionNew processing times - is the USCIS lying?
QUOTE (Peter T @ Dec 28 2007, 09:24 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
The new processing date of the I-751 at the Nebraska service center is Feb 9, 2007, as of Dec 14, 2007 . As far as I understand, that means that at Dec 14, the oldest non-processed I-751 application should be from Feb 9, 2007, or am I wrong? There are many of us who have a NOA with a date before Feb 9 who haven't heard anything from the USCIS until Dec 14, and there seems to be none that has been approved or received a RFE after September this year. What is going on? I can understand that a few applications can be missed when counting, after all, not counting but processing is their job. There are, however, too many "missed" application now. I have read on their website that they have been overwhelmed this summer with new applications, especially naturalizations. So, why don't they admit that they can't make progress with old less-urgent application like ours now? Why are they lying instead?

Below are the data from some applicants out of the status thread, many of them having a NOA before 02/09/07. Please add yourself or give your data, if you fall into this time window.

I think NSC may have given up on those pending applications... maybe they won't process any "old-fee & non-forwarded to CSC" i-751s anymore. Maybe they will be processed along with N-400 applications, I don't know. mad.gif
