yeah...they definitely needs some fixin! its hard for people specialy for those who havent heard about this petitons, k visas etc. we probably rely on this online status checking thingy...almost everyday...only to find out that it hasnt been updating well and always wrong for giving us the updates!..although we got our approval this doesnt mean we are soon to be with eachother...thats the sad part but it will be more easier or lighter on us if we know we are checking the right and reliable site.. good.gif

This is something that has always bugged me....I basically know that i'm right but there is still a drop that worries me.

When I filed I filed a I129F K1 petition.....My la wyer told me that her son who is 5 is part of the petition and that i didnt need a separate petition for him.

The USCIS website says the following:

It says " AND " dependent child....

Has anyone else dealt with anything like this?


Just in case the doctors there are very familiar with self-inflicted injuries, I suggest that your fiance tell the truth....because the first question that will be raised is "why did you lie". Anything else said out of your fiance's mouth may be doubted because of that.

I agree with some comments that were made about getting evaluated by a doctor. I would go further and say that your fiance should see a psychiatric doctor who is approved by the embassy. This will save your fiance time and money in the event that the embassy does not accept diagnoses from other doctors. You figure...they already send you to specific medical doctors.... so going to a psychiatric doctor that they approve puts you ahead of the game.

NO it is not enough and you better get a co sponsor that has W2 income statement to submit copy of for proof, otherwise you will get rejected, they look at this very closely. And they will look to make sure you meet those poverty guidelines whether you have assets or not, they are more interested in cash flow or proof of monthly wages or yearly wages that are most recent within the month of applying or year.

To be on the safe side, I think you should get a co-sponsor. There are people who are making more than 2.5 times your salary for 2, and they are choosing to have a co-sponsor just as a precaution.

You don't want to give the embassy even a small thought that you may not be able to take care of your fiance and your family. They consider everything from how long you have worked at your present job to your job status (PT or FT). It does not hurt to have that added support. Get a co-sponsor.

I'm not sure why you would even want to get engaged to someone you've never met in person, but hey - maybe I'm funny that way.

I put my entire package together at home and then i went into staples and copied it page by page slowing turning each one to keep it in order. then i had an exact, in-order replica of my package. then i walked right over to the post office and mailed it. at staples i used their regular black and white machine and it was only 9 cents a copy. the machines even accept your credit or debit card.

the weird thing was that when i copied my Birth certificate it said right on the back "if this is photocopied VOID will appear" but when i copied it, no such thing happened.

"You the USC will not need to do anything with the P3 stuff as it is sent to the alien fiance(e)."
Oh i Know this, what I mean is, he has to list the address where he is staying, which is my new address, so i wondered if USCIS needed to be aware of this change.

So I will just have him put the new address on the forms then. I have to send the I-134 to him, and that asks my address. I'll put the new one on that as well, i guess!

Okay.
We have our NOA2 and petition is with the London Embassy. Now I, the US Citizen has moved. and I want to put my new address on all of his packet three stuff if i can, but i cant figure out where i need to change this address. he has to put the address in the US he'll be moving to. so obviously i should really change this so he can put it in Packet three.
i went on USCIS.gov and saw the AR-11 but that appears to be an address change for the alien not the petitioner. Any insight to this?? helpsmilie.gif
i can keep receiving mail at the old address also if its too much hassle.
