I spoke to her sister about half hour ago and the tube was removed from her throat but she still has the air tubes through her nostrils....so far thank God things are going OK ....She still has to spend another night in the hospital for observation....Thank you everybody for the Prayers!!

Thanks Jason!!!!! Actually with her I act completely patient throughout this whole process....The only times i acted a little stressed with her is when she went though the miscarriage and last night, both because i feel so helpless being so far.

I didnt even notice that the picture was gone!!!

Thank you everyone...I actually have not been able to talk to her because of the tube in her chest, i have been calling her sister and she has been keeping me posted....She really hasnt stressed about the process at all...She is very patient....they have her stable now and will be removing the tube in a couple of hours but they will keep her in the hospital for observation...She does have bad asthma and before going to the hospital she told me that 1. she cooked and there was a lot of smoke or 2. Her sister has a hamster and her son was playing with it when it bit him so she grabbed it away from him so that might be a cause also...I willbe going to see her on Dec 7th Jason, so yeah that is a huge relief!! I hope all will be well by then!!! This is so hard being so far away and helpless...if i was there i would not even think of leaving her side for a second!!! Jason she has had these bad asthma attacks in the past from what she has told me.

I appreciate all your prayers !!! Thank You!!

God this process is sooo hard!!!!!!

I went through a miscarriage and my Leidy is in the hospital because she is having a hard time breathing due to her asthma....she is under anestesia and has tubes down her throat!!

I am suffering here so far away and feel so helpless not being able to be by her side!!!

I'm dying....God please protect her and let everything be ok.... crying.gif crying.gif

Im flying down the 7th of Dec!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As for sleep, i was dead yesterday ....i couldnt help it anymore at around 2:30 i crashed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Mel and Syl....take this into consideration...its one of the hings that kept me going....They are not looking to deny you..their job is to approve you...they just have to thoroughly look through the cases to keep their reputation of being efficient..

Remember that not only did i get the RFE, but the first time i sent my petition out , my lawyer had given me the wrong amount for the check so i had to start all over!!!!!!!!!!!! Between that and the RGE I easily lost between one and two months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just to clarify, has your 2nd check with the correct amount been cashed? Sorry if I missed that somewhere along the way. The # for USCIS is 1800-375-5283. They aren't very helpful, but there is a # :) Go to this site https://egov.uscis.g.../jsps/index.jsp when you have the case # and you can check the status. Might want to consider going alone for the AOS ;) If the lawyer cant even read the form and tell you the correct $ amount, I wouldnt entrust her/him to my future happiness.


YEAH I KNOW THANX..I SHOULD GO AT THIS ALONE..THE LAWYER IS REALLY STRESSING ME...BUT YEAH THE CHECK GOT CASHED ON MAY 29TH BUT I STILL GOT NO ANSWER...SOMEBODY ON HERE WAS VERY HELPFULL..THEY TOLD ME THAT THE CASE NUMBER WAS ON THE BACK OF THE CASHED CHECK AND SURE ENOUGH IT WAS..THEY SAID THEY SENT ME A LETTER BUT I NEVER GOT ONE..THEY SAY THE CASE IS PENDING AND THATS ALL I GOT FROM THEM...IM A LITLE WORRIED BECAUSE IF I DIDNT GET THAT LETTER THEN WHAT HAPPENS IN THE FUTURE IF THEY SEND ME SOMETHING IMPORTANT AND I DONT GET IT...THERE IS NO NUMBER THAT I COULD CALL TO ASK WHY I DIDNT GET THE LAST LETTER....I WENT TO USCIS.GOV AND SET UP AN E MAIL ALERT SO THAT I COULD BE NOTIFIED WHEN SOMETHING HAPPENS...THIS IS ALL REALLY SO STRESSFULL...THE THINGS MEN DO FOR WOMEN... :no:

Get a photocopy of both sides of the check that was returned to the bank, the back side will have your number on it, the number used for tracking purposes. It will be the number that starts with 3 letter, once you get that someone here can help you further.

Fill in your timeline so we can help you better. If you don't have a copy of the NOA1, ask your lawyer to fax you a copy. (Its the payment receipt notice.) It has a bunch of important information on it, namely your receipt number so you can track your case online, your received date, which is what USCIS uses to determine how old your application is, and the phone number for the USCIS.

WELL MY PROBLEM IS THAT I DID GET THE NOTICE THAT SAID THEY RECIEVED IT BUT THAT I HAD TO RETURN IT BECAUSE THE AMOUNT OF THE CHECK WAS WRONG...THE LAWYER HAD GIVEN ME THTE WRONG AMOUNT TO SEND...I NEVER LOOKED FOR A RECEIPT NUMBER...NOW THAT STRESSES ME EVEN MORE BECAUSE IF THERE WAS ONE ON THERE I DONT EVEN KNOW IT..BUT THE LETTER DIDNT GIVE ME A DENIAL OR AN APPROVAL.

If your lawyer is a little sloppy, why did you hire her?

Call your lawyer, most likely, the first notice of action would have gone to her office as she is the lawyer of record. Find out if she just hasn't been updating you.



well i have a union job and the lawyer is one of the benefits that comes with the job..and i already started the process so i dont really want to start over..i just want this to be over..and i know im being impatient...but if i saw a little progress it would make me feel a little better..
