I think to expedite a petition there has to be an extreme circumstance....i dont think anybody could just pay and bypass the process...id that was the case i would have done it a long time ago....Check on the USCIS website , i think that is where i read it

Yes, its closed. So I really do not have patience for the system saying they are doing all they can when they take a day off. I am at work today and I do not have the future of someone's life in my hands. LAZY and MISMANAGED-ALL OF THEM!


If it's a case of being lazy, then they are being horribly managed!!!!!!!! If my workers get lazy on me i lose my job!!! I guess they have better " Job security" than i do!

It is also more difficult for some petitioners who have fiancees in countries where it is nearly impossible to get a tourist VISA and come here to visit during this process. I wish my fiancee's country was on the Visa Waiver Program list of 27 countries approved for visiting the US for up to 90 days with no VISA. If she was, I would have brought her here for 90 days of this and maybe more. Each of us have different backgrounds and current support structures with many friends and family members to provide and some with nobody near by to offer support. I would also like to add that besides 6 months being unreasonable....i think being so blind and not informed as to where we stand i horrendous...if they absolutey had to keep updates on a regular basis of the status of petitions, not even individual petitions but petitions by category, the processing time would drop also!

My stupid RFE was because my idiot lawyer forgot to give me one of the forms on the petition to signand didnt have me answer the question regarding any criminal charges in the past...i had one dui 9 years ago but that doesnt hurt my petition.

You know what i feel....I feel as if the air is being taken out of me!!!! Especially when i call customer service and you could already tell that they are not happy at all receiving calls!!! Their traning should be as follows.......separate them from their SO so they understand what it feels like...I think what is really killing me is the thought of being alone for the holidays.....Just saying it puts a knot in my throat!!!!!

I got the " you have to wait 30 to 45 days " answer, and was told that once the RFE gets back to them it gets put back into the file and then goes into a crate full of petitions, then the wait is for the officer who originally looked at it to look at it again .... crying.gif crying.gif
