This is the first time i have heard of this. You are roughly 10 days ahead of me, and i think you are close. Hopefully that doesnt delay you instead of make it quicker for you. I think I knew more than she expected so she doesnt like me. Same here, when i call she seldom speaks to me , i get her secretary...its so aggravating. and it was too much of a coincedence that when i called her she said no no NOA1 yet but a day or two later i get it in the mail coming from her office...obviously it was sitting there while i was here stressing about it..the only reason i knew that it had gone out is because a member on here told me tolook at the back of the processed chec from USCIS an that my case number would be there!!! Yeah I feel my lawyer would do the same which is why I either tell my fiance to call her or I e mail her quite often. I dont feel she would tell us what is going on. I think she dilly dallys. My fiance thinks I am scaring her off. I just feel like its a case of "I will help you out a lot and be nice till I get paid...then after I get paid you are thrown at the back of the line since I got my money" and the unfortunate thing is that this is the way most lawyers work!! i dont call her because i dont want to lose my temper and really lose her services...which at this point i question wether i cant go at this on my own without her and with the great help on this website!!! Yeah I have been thinking the same. I mean in the end is it really worth the money? Cuz in a sense you are doing it alone since they dont help much in that area. I mean dont get me wrong the relationship is worth the money but I mean if you are basically gonna be going at it alone then why spend money on "no help"? I hope all this makes sense. lol I do too....at the end i know deep down inside that i will know that it was well worth it!!! i just really hate hearing the lawyer talk to me like im a burden on her...but when it came selling herself in the beginning she was the sweetest person in the world...God forbid i worry and have " Questions" that i might need her help with at times...oh and i forgot to mention, when we sent out the i129f in the beginning , she gave me the wrong amount for the check so it was returned and i had to start all over...!!!! unbelieveable!!!!!! I already had the receipt # but it just feels more like we are really rolling now. Does that sound cheesy? Heehee! I wonder if they sent one to the lawyer aswell? The lady on the phone said they would send it to my lawyer but I got it. Or yall think they send 1 to each? I will e mail her in a bit to let her know that I got it. In my case, my lawyer had it for about 4 weeks before i called and asked her about the case...she never said she had it but strangely enough it came from her office the next day via ground mail....so i think your address must be listed on the application ...my app has the lawyer's address...if you check the receipt, the address where the stuff gets mailed should be on it...at least it is in my case...i wish i had y address...i dont trust this lawyer anymore..i check online myself Yeah our lawyer is the same way. Well I just feel like I cant ask her anything or she gets annoyed or something. BLAH! And I feel like she has no desire in contacting us unless she needs something. I am glad I can check online now. Thanks for being around, I think the support on this site is the only thing holding me together some times! Michele I'm slightly obsessed with the USCIS site myself. Wish it would just get off June 18 update. Thanks to all of you. Does make things a little easier. Helps that I bought her a computer and cam. I know is wish that they would get off the June 18th too!!!!!!!!!!!! they really know how to stress people... I think it is a test. Based on everything I can see and Igors time line- I look for mine around middle to late October. You could be as early as the very first part of October or as late as the first part of Nov.
