We have not heard anything, has anyone done anything else such as filing for an inquiry w/USCIS or contacting a congressman???, Let's share our thoughts and advise from others that already been here... Out loved ones overseas are having to face a difficult wait especially because we could not spend time together during the holidays, which is family time. Hi LagrimasDeAmor, there has been cases, many at that in which the congressman's inquiry at the local office has led to an approval within 48 hrs (i got mines the next day) I would say everyone has their own luck with that, some have not seen results from them and really just had to wait. but i would tell you to find out your local congressman's office call and set up an apt to visit them in person. FORGET THE ONLINE INQUIRIES. call the local office, go there...sign the form giving them authorization to further call the center and inquire on your behalf. when i got my call back from the community liaison at the local congressman's office she told me that the lady at the vsc had just pulled the file and would get back to me within 3 days....and there it was the very next evening that i got the approval... Still stunned at the paste it took after that....even passed some others in total number of days to interview with with people that i thought their timelines were "good/normal" timing PATIENCE! I didn't know myself that they would email the package. Good luck! gotcha...ok. My approval came yesterday!!!!! omg im so happy not sure whether its the local congressmans office that did it or it was my email tot he VSC...i think it the congressman's office becus my friend that happen to work at the congressman's office said when she spoke to them the lady at the VSC pulled the file right there and then. and we should have back in the next 5 days...next day i hear back!! yay! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	June 2011 Filers	For all Junes still waiting, idd like to share some good news. Once you receive the NOA2 it is only a matter of weeks (depending on the country) but for example for us once we received the NOA 2 On Nov 15th, one week and a half later NVC has received it and they shipped the application documents to the country consulate within only ew days after receiving it. They use expedited shipping service and the consulate received the package in less than a week we had packet 3 which was delivered by email to my the petitioner. Check my timeline for more precise dates. All I am saying is the once you have the NOA 2 is faster that you would think. hey giorgiannap357 how do you request package 3 by email instead of mail...I totally want to be prepared for whats next!!.... For future status inquiries of a petition or application filed at this Center, you may want to utilize Case Status Online at www.uscis.gov. " as if i didn't kno it was pending *sigh* Started a letter to the my district's representative Happy Thanksgiving. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	June 2011 Filers	Just filed a service request for my case. The guy I spoke with at USCIS said I should hear something back within 15 days. Let's hope this works!! So excited something is happening after waiting 5+ months. I did a service request on Monday, as I mentioned. Joseph, a real gentleman with an id number of G682064, said we would also receive notification in 15 days. Impatient as we are, I bought a plane ticket to visit my fiance over the holidays anyway. Right now visa problems are set aside. It's nice to know I'll get to see him in a month. At this point it is in God's hands. NOA2 or not, headed overseas in December to spend the holidays together as a family. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Back in the US of A with my fiancee	finally in the US after being away for nearly a year. my fiancee and i are really happy. at least we get to be together for the next stage of the process. anyway POE was JFK and it was pretty easy. immigration officers were friendly. when i came up to the immigration office, she asked me for my passport and then asked what i was doing in the US? and after handing in the brow envelope she asked me how i met my fiancee. i feel like she was just asking just for the sake of it. she stamped my passport and the I-94 and told me to follow her to the office for further processing since i'm coming in with a K1 visa. i was out of there in about 20mins.
