For all the other members, I'm sorry to everyone that we hijacked this thread for our little scuffle. Not really. I posted a response to someone and he was very gracious to me. I saw that I said something unnecessarily and therefore apologized to him. I felt that the issue was between me and him, but you interfered with some hostility, so I became defensive; I saw a weakness (your grammar mistake) and I capitalized - maybe a little too aggressively. My comments were directed at only YOU.. I'm very empathetic to those who have to wait as it's a very hard time in all of our lives. I'm still in the group that has to wait extra long for the NVC.. The difference is that we're not jumping down people's necks because they post some info that you don't like because you'Re sensitive!!!! Good on you for apologizing!! So that makes it OK for you to say that I'm probably going to get an RFE? Real classy and empathetic dude. I'm glad you are using spellcheck also as I don't think you'Re is a word. Pretty easy getting everything correct on the petition and yes no RFE's, but I guess we don't know yet if you have one or not. Maybe you overestimated your intelligence abd will be getting an RFE very soon. When you hit the 5 month mark then you can start getting sensitive and complaining. It might be better if you relaxed a bit, a person just posted some great information and you jumped him for it. And now me... Deep breathing tunjon exercises might het you in the right direction... No, I didn't use spellcheck. It was fairly obvious that you made a mistake without the use of spellcheck. The "you'Re" was to emphasize the "'R" that you completely left out. So you can dish it out, but can't take it? Don't bite off more than you can chew. If we get an RFE, then it's OK - at least I know that they looked at our petition. You're right, the 5-month mark didn't come up yet (got 2 more weeks), but at the rate VSC is pumping out NOA2s for I-129Fs, it looks like it's going to take us 6 months for sure. Yes, I am aware of what he posted - that information is available to everyone on Igor's List; it's not as if he posted something from an obscure website. I apologized to him because I knew that I was venting out of frustration at him, but you, you're different. Don't give me that "holier than thou" attitude and think that you're the more righteous one. You should know firsthand how difficult and frustrating it is to wait for the NOA2, and therefore should be more empathetic to those who haven't received their NOA2s yet. CSC is over 50% done with there feb petitions (VJ data only) With all due respect, I don't need to or want to see that graph, as it is a reminder of how ridiculously behind VSC is from CSC. I've noticed the same thing last week... approvals from Friday and Monday were only updated on the USCIS website on Tuesday... This week might be the same I feel like tonight/ tomorrow there will be a flood with approvals for VSC Even yesterday I have noticed they were updating approvals from 06/21 and 06/22 so as much as odd it is, there is a hope I believe that once June is over (end of their H1B fiscal year) , we will see the adjudicators being assigned to more K1 petitions and more and more approvals each day Thank you for the heads up! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Any February 2012 filers?	There is a backlog that they will probably never be able to work their way out from under. So, they are always processing petitions that were submitted months ago. The actual adjudication, according to people on VJ who are very familiar with the process (some of whom have worked for USCIS) typically takes around 5 minutes, once they actually reach your petition. Man, I wonder how backlogged they must've been to get to this position...I hope it was just a matter of understaffing/underestimating rather than just procrastination/laziness... From what I understand it takes under 30 minutes to adjudicate our petitions but it takes that long to make it through the volume of petitions as they have a few different kinds to work on. That is why it goes in waves. This slow down with VSC will pass and they will go back to our K1's. I know how difficult this waiting is and I am confident it will work out when it is our time. Sucks but it's true... Is there that much paperwork involved that they can't do it in less than a month? If I were do to the same process with me applying for a fiance/spouse visa in South Korea, it takes at most 2 weeks. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Any February 2012 filers?	Good morning all!! Exciting news!! We just got our NOA2!!!!!!! It came in at 06:30AM, but I'm in Botswana. NOA1 was February 7 @ CSC (received Feb 3). Keeping the February filers' NOA2s coming! ***I did put a service request in earlier this week--My current address is foreign (Botswana) and I wanted to change it to my permanent US address for when the NOA2 arrived. It's not possible to change a foreign address to US on the online system. I called the 1-800 number a few weeks ago and USCIS told me I had to send in a letter via post (how 18th century!). So I did that and also scanned a copy to that CSC follow-up email, but got no confirmation of receipt and my address wasn't updated online. I called the USCIS 1-800 number again this Tuesday because I am leaving my current address on Friday and requested a service request because I was afraid we would receive our NOA2 to this address. The guy on the phone was very helpful, gave me a confirmation code and all. I'm not sure if this expedited our case, especially since I've heard that it takes 15 days for service requests to go through.**** a big THANK YOU to the VJ community. I don't post often, but I promise I read what you write everyday and it has helped a lot. I wish you all the best of luck in receiving your NOAs soon!! Driving myself crazy - some days I'm all "it will happen when it happens" and other days I'm ready to drive to Vermont and kick the door in. Just nervous now that the Olympics will cause delays in interviewing in London over the summer...and I really need him here by September so I don't have to pay a babysitter for after school! Hello...If you have your MNL case #...you can go and pay your fee at BPI ...then wait a few hours and go online to schedule your interview date...make sure you schedule your date in advance where you can schedule your medical in between that date...The medical is a two day process...Also..while waiting for interview..you can get CFO seminar out of the way like my fiancee did..she passed medical and did CFO..just waiting for interview on feb. 21st..when all is done and she gets her visa..all she has to do is to go back to CFO main office to have sticker applied to her passport...Good luck.	bc3159	Male	Philippines	2012-02-15 09:27:00

And then we got the hard copy on the 26th or 27th.   Should I have heard from the embassy in London already? Is that the letter that will inform me of my interview date or is there more paperwork for me to do first? And when should my fiancé submit his affidavit of support? Does he have to send that to me to take to my interview?   Sorry for all the questions!
