Although I found out about this site well after I submitted my K-1 paperwork, it has been helpful to read the experiences of others on the same journey. I honestly felt like I was more prepared for anything that could happen after reading this site, although thankfully it has not been needed so far. On 8/21 (exactly 6 months and 1 week to the day of receipt), I received the NOA2. Finally! I know there is still more to go on this journey but to have that piece finally complete and moving on is nice. Good luck to all still waiting and know that it is coming soon...... It will come soon~ As much as I am thankful that we got our NOA2, I still feel awful for you because the system is so unpredictable. I think if they went by receipt number order, we could feel a little better because it would be more predictable. But unfortunately, they're not. I received a text message saying your case has been updated, and at this point I'm extremely nervous and excited to see what it says - I thought for sure it was an RFE - but I log on and see.... On August 16, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)! I still can't even believe it fully... I just woke up and I feel like I could be dreaming still! I'm just immensely thankful right now and excited.... I don't even know what to say because I was hoping and praying for this for today unlike any other day before. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Any February 2012 filers?	Thanks everyone for the encouragement. It just so totally bummed me out today. I hope it is something easy to fix. I'm wondering if it's a lack of primary evidence. I had photos of us together and the email confirmation of my flight to the UK and his here, but I stupidly chucked my boarding passes.... I didn't have a copy of my passport or stamps in my petition - I only sent my birth certificate. I think my explanation of how we met and how I proposed (about a page long - single spaced), 4 photos of us together, and 4 copies of cards I wrote Eun Hee (I write her one every month) was enough to convince them that we met and our relationship is genuine. I can't believe it! Did not expect that after going through all those numbers before today. (Actually it says Aug. 13 but e-mail coming tonight.) I just checked the e-mail one more time before going to sleep (it's 11.40 pm here) and there it was! Oh joy! Broke down crying! We put my e-mail and my fiances cell phone number,good thing since he actually got a new cell phone number a couple of weeks ago. Would anyone else like to share the receipt #s you're monitoring? Of course, if we do that, then we could end up posting duplicate reports for the same petitions, but I guess that wouldn't be a horrible thing. I'd really like to add some more to my list, particularly from mid-February and later. I have some from another VJer (thanks, Kattze!), so that brings the collection I'm monitoring to: Feb. 1 [note: receipt date, not NOA1 date] (27 petitions) Feb. 2 (75) Feb. 3 (13) Feb. 6 (24) Feb. 13 (31) Feb. 21 (215) No approvals or RFEs in any of these today except for the 2/21 one I mentioned above. There's no easy way to check how many petitions on a particular day, other than looking through a very long sequence of receipt numbers until you start to see petitions earlier or later than the target date. But you can check the status of any receipt # (not just your own) at https://egov.uscis.g...s/Dashboard.do. Just start with your own receipt # and then increase or decrease the last digit to see adjacent ones. Warning: it can get addictive. Oh wow, I didn't even think about entering other numbers...thank you! And yes, it is very addictive. I just checked out the ones adjacent to mine and it turns out that pretty much all of them are waiting for their NOA2s like me - there was one RFE though. So my phone got messed up after it felt on water this morning. I wasn't able to go to an AT&T store before 8 pm to get another phone and as soon as the man handed me my new phone, I realized I got a new SMS: status update -----> NOA2!!!! Finally!! It is indeed a great feeling. I wasn't expecting it today. Good luck to all of you still waiting it may come when you least expect it!!! If not, could you post your receipt # (maybe without the last 1-2 digits, for privacy's sake, even though there isn't any personal information available from the USCIS site)? I'm hoping to be able to monitor all of the 2/21 petitions. And there are so, SO many work authorization and temporary protected status applications! Mind-boggling. I'm very sorry if it might be inconvenient for you, but I was wondering if you could teach me how to do that myself? Oh I am seriously freaked out now... my fiancé just called me to tell me that one of his coworkers died over the weekend and there are grief councillors at work and everything... the freaky part is that this coworker was also going through the visa process, and he has a fiancee in Canada too. That is seriously one of my biggest fears.
