Anything that will she'd light on how they can justify approvals not only flying through California but Tsc approvals in recent 2014 applicants when they have a backlog and are acting like Dec 1 2013 is a,rational response to givefamilies that have put their lives on hold. This is unacceptable, cold hearted, and simply unfair. The tier 2 officer also told me ONLY usc could submit petitions for a fiance request 129f. Is that true? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NOA2 received on to NVC	Thanks all! Called NVC Last week they received the file and told me it would take up to 30 days. My response was ok but I'm calling as much as I can to which they chuckled and said ok. I got through again today and it's on its way to the consulate!!!!! Yaaaaayyyyyyy!!!!!!! Omg I'm flying as high as the stars. Woow. I was just booking my flight next week to celebrate our babies first birthday together!!! (Decided on a shorter trip since we will need the days for the interview etc...) I called uscis every single day practically once my 5 month was almost here and was indignant they told me 65 more days for service request and even that good luck. Every day I called. Every day I requested a tier 2 with the same line about processing Dec only. I said it was not true and I would keep calling until I reacted someone with a heart.they said okwe can't stop you . so I was portion the crazy chick calling daily. LolLol the last time I told the guy that the time frame only says 5.5 m on their own website eh although states May datewas updated from 55m the eek of July 8 he agreed. I said that was not fair. I don't know if maybe he had a heart. ....no clue. But I'm just so happy it's done. He did say I could write the head of the service center to complain. And I lol. I said yeah I know where that letter will go....to the circular file cabinet. He was really nice though. Thank God that part is behind us omg. Truly torture. I pray for all the ones still waiting and hope they fix this system! It's beyondbroken. Congrats! Now everything will be moving pretty quickly. I would wait a couple of weeks before calling NVC for your case # so you can track your petition all the way to your embassy/consulate. Thanks frontgear. I'm going to jeep busy for sure. I've my tidal makeup and hair appts set up for the wedding and I have to print the pics from the last two trips (may and June) and I'm planning our babys first birthday so I hope it's our ofnvc before Sept. Right at the 5 month mark...even though they are much longer at TSC, at least they are somewhat consistent .    Congrats and good luck on the rest of your journey. Usually about 1-2 months for the Interview to be scheduled....for a date usually a few months AFTER you were notified. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NOA2 received on to NVC	Thankfully we FINALLY received our NOA2 !! I received a text early this morning and an email followed after. I'm beyond emotional as I was truly breaking to pieces and losing ALL hope. Now while we are at the NVC we are going to go into full consulate mode prep full swing. So printing and gathering everything needed. Paying and making medical appt as needed. (Last I checked I think this needs to be with 30 days of the interview date so we have some time I'm just curious to see how long the wait is forit). Are there any specific posts that guide one through these steps specific to DR ? I'm still trembling and crying in intervals. Thank you God. !!! I did not translate any document that I presented the day of the interview. The DS160 is filled online, get a digital copy of the photos 2x2 so you can upload it to the DS160. The DS156k is the one that you download and fill out but do not sign! Your fiance has to sign it at the end of the interview in front of the consul. We completed the NVC stage (got our case#) and have reached the consulate in DR. We are at status rEADY. So now we prepare the forms for my fiance to bring w him to the interview. - bc, marriage and divorce certificates all certified by Junta central and in long form.called in extensa - police certificate - letter of intent - DS 160 online & DS 156 online ? Why does it mention DS 260? I'm hearing mixed things and am so confused. He won't fill it out until he gets the letter or email from the embassy because he doesn't want to make mistakes but he is gathering all the other docs in the interim. Except police certificate and medical. How does the embassy alert of citations? Email or that giant listing? Thankfully I'm flying there soon so I can complete the ds 160 w him. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	ds 160	What sweetswinks said, however, it does ask for your previous employment (don't remember how far back), secondary school(s), father's and mother's info (address, dob, whether they are living in the US).   You'll need the Application ID for the DS-160 to review the form so tell your fiance to write it down. I received no a2 on July 15 and called nvc yesterday. Give them your uscis case number. They will tell you it's received but please give them 30 biz days to process because of......you guessed it.....backlog. so the few days to 2 weeks turn around we were seeing earlier this year is no more. Congrats and prepare for your interview. I called again today. I was too anxious. I emailed on Sat but I need to know what's going on. He confirmed again Sept 18 and said he will ask them to send us the packet via email since we haven't received it. The good thing was I was able to ask about the baby stroller (not allowed ) and no baby food or milk! Of course I'm bringing it as my baby needs to eat! and they can dump it if they want to But I pray they won't. What am I supposed to do for so many hours without food/milk for him. Wow. Yes!!! email them again and let them know of the timing so you can proceed with the medical (you need the interview letter in order to schedule the medical exam) and other papers you/your fiance needs to collect to be ready for the interview.  I was able to obtain an email with an electronic version of the interview letter and the instructions package needed for the interview.   My wife's interview is Sep 3 and she has still not received the hard copy yet.  We do not want to miss the interview date so that is why I emailed them. ;-)     Good luck!!!!  Sep 3! Came back on Wed from trip number 19 and hoped to see the updated interview list with our date possibly already assigned. Checked Thursday...still nothing. Today I called the NVC and State dept w no luck. So I called the embassy and spent 7 of the best USD I have ever spent. They told me we have a,date!!!! It's on Sept 18!!!! Omg omg omg omg I was so incredibly happy and I'm only more so tonight. My fiance is totally happy that soon soon soon we can be together. My only concern is it's in four weeks. the medical should be done in 3weeks before. We still don't have the appointment letter. Nothing in hard copy nothing via email. Why does every step of this process have to be excruciating????? I've called TWICE and I've written THREE emails that have gone unanswered. on the phone we were promised the packet via,email in 3-5 days. That expired on Friday. I just want to get this behind us. The new building is very well organized and each process runs through quickly. I was literally stunned when we got the green slip n the famous visa aprovada. The thought of us living FINALLY IN THE SAME HOME and no more flying bCk and forth and bring able to put that $$ towards our life together is ammmmaxing. This will be the 20th trip. Gasp!!!
