Imagine if you send them a copie of a bill from a doctor for having a stress test due to stessing out on waiting for your S/O to get a visa. Perhaps asking them to pay for it too. They will see the real love B)

I agree with everyone too, I think you have plenty. I'm in the same boat as you, I didn't save most of the emails we had, especially in the beginning!

Wouldn't that be considered fraud anyway? How are we supposed to know in the beginning that we are gonna marry these guys and to save everything UNLESS that was the plan all along. I think it could go against you if you have so much and it looks planned.

Exactly! I never thought of saving every detail.

I hope not. Ali and I never send emails. We have chatted about 4 or 5 times and thats it.

Our ways of communication ?

Landline phone, my cell phone, write letters (yes a hand written letter), send cards on every single occasion, packages with gifts, and pictures, pictures, pictures.

Then again we are a IR-1 and not a K-1. If the consulate were to ask Ali why we do not have e-mails or more inernet chat sessions he would say, "Because I don't have computer at home and would have to go to the internet cafe to use the internet. At the internet cafe are alot of people (young men in particular), I do not feel safe in looking at her pictures or reading anything from her with them around. Lack of privacy." Plain and simple.

I don't think we should have to change our relationship because everyone else communicates by e-mail. We don't .. We are Ali & Massouna and we are in love. So be it.

I agree with you, I don't like emailing. My prefered method is talking by the phone. I hope your husband gets approved soon.

I'm just wondering if my S/O and I never really emailed eachother would that make a big difference? What ever I did email was deleted because we never knew we would need this to make a fiance visa. I call him everyday, atleast 3 times a day. I have copies of my phonecard lists and I am sending him 3 months worth of calls. We also use yahoo messenger everyday and chat, which I made copies of the logs. We sent each other valentine's and birthday cards by the mail. Would you say we have enough correspondence already? It sure is costing me atleast $300 a month!

I need a long vacation again B)

I know you are going through alot, however our men from Morocco usually acquire some attention like in the bedroom. They don't undersatnd the word no when it comes to that, it hurts their ego. This is a very stressful time for you both. I hope it all works out and this is just a phase.

I can relate as well, I am from the middle east but my family is not muslim. I was raised jewish, can you imagine what I have been through? I would like to see the face of the CO when my fiance is interviewed tomorrow in Morocco. Anyhow I was married before and pressured into my last marriage from my family because he was the same brand as I, well that marriage did not last long. Now my family shut their mouths and let me live my own life. As for Mouhcine's family, they accept me as I am. They love me as their own. Always go with your heart! Besides how high is the rate of divorce in the USA from american people alone?

I used IDT as well but mostly buy a prepaid card called chat card. I call him everyday, but I try to use my cell phone when I call him with the prepaid card because it logs every call you make. Also I called him from my home phone plenty of times making my phone company richer.

I have not posted since 2 weeks ago, but I want to say I am feeling better than before. I am still hanging strong and ready to take what ever comes my way.

I want to say congrats to those who have received their good news.

I have bad news from a friend that a young girl died abroad in Morocco, she went there to live with her husband because he was denied a visa. She was only 23 and for the past month had become very sick there. I hope you will take a moment to pray and perhaps light a candle.

Somehow the consulate in Morocco must be taking alot of leisure time. They don't like husbands and wife's to be together so fast. That's why it's better to marry your fiance(e) in the USA. It's bad enough they make us wait so long and then only to have a 10 minute interview. :crying:

Middle East and North AfricaVISA DENIED 2ND TIME!!!

we are simply not in the same era as mohammed... large age gaps are pretty rare in morocco today... as are marriages to divorced women and women with children... so why are a huge proportion of women applying for moroccan fiancés much older

So what can you say about Debbie Moore?

That she's a movie star, wildly famous, tons of money, and looks like she's in her 20s?

thats what I'd say about Demi Moore (if that's who you meant)

ok, I made a mistake , Demi Moore! What I mean is that it's ok for women in Hollywood to marry younger men, but it raises red flags to CO's for wanting to marry a younger foreigner.

Middle East and North AfricaCasa interview Q and A

I totally agree with Sarah...Jamal had the same CO he was drilled about me and my family...so make sure that you got that covered...ther than that just tell him to relax and be truthful...I feel that these are the most important aspects to look for...Good luck...he will do good...  we all will send out some major MOJO to Casa....
Dorothy

Can you please give some insight into those drilling questions? Thanks for your help.

Make sure your fiance knows everything about you, DOB, where you live, address, what you do... and the same things for your family. They can ask anything and it's better to be overprepared than underprepared.

Here's how I look at it. When I was in college and we were going to have a test one teacher gave us a list of 100 questions and said ok 25 of these will be on the test so we memorized everything since we didn't know what would be asked.

Be honest, be prepared and organized. Once again- they need to see all of your evidence. Incorportate it into the interview if they don't specifically ask for it.

Good luck!

I just finished readig all the reviews for Casa. I think I'm going to be sick. I hate feeling like I have something to prove to a stranger. My grandparents were married forever and I know my grandfather could not be able to tell Casa onething about my grandmothers family. That does not mean that he loved her any less it just means that he could not care less as he would say.
I wish I could just make them in Casa see that.

My fiance and I tested before the interview, he knew everything about me from birth til present.

The only thing is that I am older then him by 15 years. So many things to bring into consideration.

We are currently waiting to be reviewed by Vermont, hopefully they will take a good look!

I really mean he is going for ANOTHER interview. I don't understand either. That was why I am asking here, what people think. I have NO idea.

I'm with Sarah as I'm not really sure if you mean he has an interview or he is going to go pick up his visa. No matter what, I do wish you the best of luck.

Doreen

What happened in the first interview? What did he get in the 221G? Did they say they needed to further review it? When was the first interview?

Middle East and North AfricaK1 to K3

I doubt getting married would help. From what I've seen K-1 takes lot less time. Getting married would drain you (Moroccan beauracracy is unbelivable!) - takes a lot of money and leg work. The whole process takes 3 weeks, I tried for 2.5 - didn't work!

And now thinking back, I regret listening to my husband who told me that a marriage anywhere else is not recognized in Morocco and that we'd have to get re-married later on if we'd go for fiance visa. I'm kicking myself every day for actually getting married. It's been 14 months since I've filed and 16 months since we got married and there's no interview or any good news in sight. So, unless I'm terribly wrong, you shouldn't do that! The security checks in Vermont took 6 months and now nobody knows where's the paperwork and what's going on.

Good luck anyway whatever you decide!

Tanya

Sorry to hear that Tanya, seems like Vermont is short staffed. Perhaps our paper work went to the rectangular files.

:crying:

We were thinking of leaving the K1 and doing the K3. But then we got an additional 3 month extension on our K1 and decided to keep going with it. Plus, I looked into what is needed to get married in Greece and it is just as burdeonsome as doing a Visa process. I need certified copy of divorce decree, certified copy of my birth certificate, then I have to have them translated into Greek. Then I have to go the Athens Embassy and swear under oath that I am free and able to marry and then get their sworn affadavit in Greek and English. All of this before we even apply for the marriage license. And last but not least we have to have our announcement of marriage put into the Greek newspaper and have it all in Greek characters. Auuuuuggghhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So we are sticking with the K1 and praying that we get everything done soon and get approved.

Good luck with what you decide to do.

Bridgett

Hope you have good luck soon! There is nothing like the Casablanca Consulate, one of a kind!!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsFebruary 2014 filers

My understanding is that you don't quite know your # at this stage in the process--it doesn't come on the NOA1 and it wasn't released (at least not yet...) electronically for me on the uscis.gov "My Case" site, even though I received the notification. They just notify you that your beneficiary now has one.....but if someone else got the actual #, I'd also like to know how you figure it out!!

And yes, everyone, it looks like CSC is processing transfers just as fast if not faster than petitions originally sent directly to them. I've been crunching the numbers and doing some VJ timeline stalking--even CSC RFEs come within a month or so and are resolved within a couple weeks after a reply. Actual petitions are getting approved within 1 - 2 months. All of the November and almost all of the December CSC transfers (and a majority of the CSC original filers) have their NOA2s--even those with RFEs . . . .let's hope they keep up the pace!!! smile.png

Im at the TSC so hopefully we can get up and running and give you  CSC cats some competition.

You have to sign up for text and email notices again via your "my case portfolio" with the receipt #. The electronic notice you signed and sent to the USCIS was the initial notice I believe.

If you did it already, though, then maybe call?
