not sure what lucozade is...but i'm thinking it's like gatorade or powerade...a sports drink with electrolytes and stuff that you need when you need to replenish stuff quickly....hope you're feeling better soon! focus on the prize...soon you'll be with him and everything will be as you've wanted it to be for so long!

i understand what you mean...for me it's so hard to believe that he's actually here! and i have to drive the 2 1/2 hours home from the airport...he's usually tired..and i'm concentrating on the road...usually it's kind of a quiet ride while we just get used to being on the same side of the drink! ...yeah, i understand what you mean.

You guys should move to Florida...was in the upper 70's today...NO SNOW...

no offense but, i hate the south! lol...i'll take the seasons over the bland sameseasonallyearlong. laughing.gif it's a nice place to visit...but...wouldn't want to live there ever again...been there done that! ok...hate is a harsh word...how about strongly dislike??? it's just not right not having seasons...i guess it's just what i'm used to.

we have online courses here you can take too...i think phoenix online is a fairly reputable one...my place of business has a contract with them to pay so much of a percentage based on the grade you get in the course...they advertise quite a bit too....just wondering if the ad at the top of the page will change based on me typing it in here... laughing.gif

mustang-sally, of course we have courses you can take here! some people go part-time taking a class or 2 here and there...some people work around their work schedules and take night courses, etc. some places of employment even offer scholarships or assistance with tuition if the coursework will help you advance in your position/career...good luck!!! i've seen tons of mothers of older children (teens and older) go back to school and get their degree...it may have taken them a little longer, but they got the whole shebang...the kids and the career...also, jeraly, i know what you mean about the teaching thing...i went to college for that here and i taught for a little while...it tends to be hard in my area to find a job because this area is kinda rural and loads of people want to teach here...if you get in an area where it's growing still IE virginia is an area that i know is developing the last 15 or so years and building tons of schools, it's alot easier to find a job if that's what you want...i ended up working in a supermarket, doing the hiring and orientations for the new employees..i also do alot of human resources stuff..i know what you mean about finding something you love to do...but right now i need to keep my job so that i can support us and show proof of it... having worked for the same place in the past 11 years will hopefully look good and being able to provide medical benefits is a plus too.

laughing.gif i haven't been to canada in a few years, but i've forgotten how friendly everyone is there! hehe used to go to figure skating events and i LOVE canadian skaters much better than our own! sssshhhh don't tell anyone! i machine quilt...i'm not THAT ambitious! and my mom knows how to crochet and she tried to teach me since i was about 10 but she didn't have the patience, so last year i thought myself and crocheted a christmas stocking for kevin! this year i made scarves for everyone for christmas...i tend to like making gifts if i can...another thing to keep me busy and keep my mind off of waiting until i see him again....i think my next task is to clean out my apartment and make room for another person to be living here with me! that's going to be a BIG ONE!!! i've been living alone for about 3 years now and everything is spread out...time to condense....as for the drapes...i've never tried that...i'm a blinds person myself...but i'm sure i could figure it out! laughing.gif those things are expensive!
