IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Affidavit of support and documents	In your post you say you are submitting the I-864 (Affidacit of support) If so, then the police cert & brith certificates are not needed for this submission. Those documents would be a part of your DS-230 (Visa Applicaton) submission. This is what I sent for my I-864 and it sailed through with out any problems: Coversheet w/barcode I-864 Form Tax Returns (last 3 years...if you filed for 2007, you must inckude that) Employment Letter (Stating position, salary, tenure, and standing) Pay Stbs (Last 3 pay periods) I hope this helps...keep asking questions! I was really hoping it would have, because I too don't want to wait for an August interview date, but really I will take any "real" date they give to us. I will post what I hear first thing on Monday morning. I am in California so it won't be till around 6:30am. I will speak to a live operator though and get the complete story. I still haven't heard "case complete" yet, and when I talk to a live operator yesterday she told me it normally takes 2-4 weeks to process the DS-230, not the 6-8 weeks that the AVR says. And we all know by talking to each other, it can be much less. I am hoping we can get our interview the 1st or 2nd week of July, because my wife would love to be in the USA for her birthday on Juloy 19th...I am praying for all of us. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	DS-230	Hey Karl... I sent in both Part I & II of the DS-230. We completed both parts, but my wife only signed Part I, the instructions said Part II would be signed in front of the CO at the interview. I know there are different guidelines depending on the country, so your case may be different. I am sure there are others who can give you more info, but this is what I did. Right now my AVR says they have received the checklist, and when I speak with a live operator I am told it still being reviewed. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Another case complete - what's next?	The NVC says they schedule interview appointments during the 2nd week of the month for the following month. I don't know how it works when your case completes during the 2nd week of the month as well. But it is based on the embassy capacity, so if the interview slots for July have not already been filled, you could very well receive a interveiw date in July. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	1 week?	So the Embassy in Lima told my fiancee last Tuesday, January 4, that our interview is next Wednesday, January 12. I am active duty Military and cannot make it to the interview, so I am trying to prepare everything I can for her. My problem is, I never received a packet stating which documents I need to fill out and send. My fiancee in Peru had to go to the embassy to get hers in time also. Can anybody help me and let me know what forms and/or types of documents I need to send? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NOA2, when will you come....	oh good god! 5 months!! and this is all with california service centre!!! wow... we just got our NOA1 last week so looks like i'm in for a long ride.. my friend applied last november and was in the states exactly 6 months later and she had major delays getting police clearance from all the countries she has lived in... and she still got to US in 6 months!! but that was vermont service centre...
