I can't believe that the K1 visa journey is finally over!! Today I received my Visa via DHL and couldn't be any happier. :) <3

It's so funny how I was worrying about the new processing times posted on the USCIS website! Little did i know my prayers have already been answered! Thank you LORD!

 

For my fellow VSC December filers, yours will come anytime soon! Hang in there!! Just updated my timeline and man, it feels so good!

 

Now I have a small problem, I won't be able to sleep and I have to get up in two hours to have CFO seminar. Lol.

To the Vermont filers. I hope so too but they already approved some late November filers which gives me hope. Saw also a March 2013 filer got approved?!?! That's kinda weird since he said he didn't expedited!

I must say, after joining VJ two days ago, I'm just blown away at all the support and care that comes from everyone! I really can't see how I made it through the last 5 months so easily (it seems). I guess I really wasn't thinking about it as much as I am now. I hope the service centers will really start moving for us soon! Everyone take care and be strong!!

 

Welcome doobietoo and I agree with you. I'm really glad that I've found this forum also and to meet people who are in the same situation as I am. The last 5 months really went by okay cause we didn't expect to hear anything within that time frame either but now, after 5 1/2 months we feel like it's timeeee for an approval :D.

Hi,  we too are December filers.  I've been fine until the last few weeks, starting to get antzy! It's totally addictive logging in everyday to see how many have been approved from VSC.  I was soo optimistic last week, but they seem to be slowing up a little again.  Hoping to hear something by the end of June according to our timeline prediction?  Is that the same for everyone else here?

 

 i totally agree with you. I also think that it might be possible that they're gonna start to approve Dec filers in June. Who knows maybe sooner than we think :)

Any dec filers get noa2 yet... We filed on 12/12 thru the vsc. I see there are a lot of November filers being approved.


My noa1 is DEC 4 and havent heard anything yet. But really looks that they approve ppl with their noa1 in november so not too far away! :)

Woah thats likely 2.5months more waiting.. We'll definetely have an snwer around July? I think they are already working with end Oct filers but to think of it we're almost in our 5th month. I do hope there are already random December filers approved out there. smile.png thanks for the info btw.. smile.png

 

I was really shocked last night cause I didn't expect THAT! Almost 7 1/2 months only waiting for the NOA2?!?!? BUT he said UP to 72 more days so we should all be positive and hope for the best!

oh yeah def! :) My fiance called the call center yesterday and they said it could take up to 72 more days for an approval and they would approve October 1st now. Does someone else got information like that? Cause in the statistics I saw a lot from mid/end October who got their NOA2.

It should. I tried it out before replying here earlier and had no issues. What browser are you using? Perhaps try on another browser?

It does auto-fill. You need to actually put something in questions 1,2,3 first.

I'm filling out the DS-230 form and everything worked well but when I get to page 3 I cannot type in #36,#37 and #38. 

 

I only found one answer saying it would autofill when i press enter but it doesn't work. 

 

Does anyone have an answer to this?

I think it's just the fact seeing that the CSC approves a lot of people within a time frame of 3-4 months and they just skip mid/late 2012 filers so that they can keep their goal. The VSC on the other hand didn't even start to approve 2013 petitions except of a hand full that have their own reasons (e.g. expidite). And this is in my opinion the BIG difference to both service centers no matter how many approvals they may have less in 2012 - fact is that they started to approve 2013 petitions like crazy!

We haven't received the letter yet. Hope this week, but kinda think not till next week. Did your congressman know if the cases already are in Texas ?

I know. On monday it will be 6 months and it's frustrating but we are still positive about it. Just hope it's gonna be a fair approval processing (in order of the dates). Thanks for your updates!

everyone is going crazy here right now.

Yes, waiting is damn hard but what else can we do in this exact moment? I'm sure that Texas will be faster than Vermont in handling it. They may haven't had to work with I-129F's but with petitions in general which means they know how a petition works etc. it's not completely new to them.

agreed, but the proper way to resolve it is to write your congressman

 

we already did. And they put in an inquiry for the TSC for us on monday but haven't heard back since. Also put in an e-request..it's just frustrating.

I received a letter in the mail yesterday, a notice of transfer. My NOA1 date was December 10, 2012. The letter informed me that our petition has been transferred to the Texas Service Center. After calling USCIS, they could not inform me of any processing times because the TSC does not typically process these types of petitions. They said I could write a letter to the TSC to see if they could provide me with more information. They said that the TSC does know that these petitions are past the USCIS goal for processing and are considered priority.

 

PRIORITY sounds great. I hoped that they considered it priority but you never know.. but thanks for your information!

Well it seems like Texas might be getting their act together but December and Januarys left at Vermont are screwed apparently.

 

I actually didn't understand why two I-129F petitions close to my petition weren't transferred. But I think that the only thing we really can do (except waiting) is to contact our congressman office, Senator, ombudsman. I'm glad to see that most people from december and january did that cause maybe that makes our voice heard.

I have no idea. But in Texas one december filer got a RFE two days ago and yesterday one december filer seemed to got approved (Congressman said so but no email yet). 

But saw that VSC approved some late february filers and even a march filer.
