So now we are at a place where his interview is next month, and I am back teaching again and can not go visit him. The earliest would be March, but that won't help with proof at the February 19 interview. I'm wondering how many of you have only met your fiance(e)s once and how many of you did not see your fiance(e)s for up to 10 months before the interview date. We have thousands of e-mails to show as well as hundreds of phone calls, lots of letters and packages, along with all the necessary proof of support, tax forms, etc. We have one set of pictures which were taken when he was here last March but nothing more up to date than that. We are engaged, and I do have my ring and our engagement ring receipt. I will be able to send receipts and plans for our May 17 wedding with both of our names on it as well to show that I am working towards him being here. Any suggestions/advice for the interview? Anybody else experienced the same situation at their interview and been fine with a logical explanation of timing issues such as we have incurred? Thanks in advance. Did you ever consider to go there before your fiance will come to the US,cause if you do, than you can buy the ticket now and send him the copy of your flight ticket My boyfriend and i are not going to see each other till after the interview neither, but we'll have one wedding in my country also, so he'll come here, and then we'll leave together, but this is only after the interview, and he's going to buy the plain tickets before my interview, and he'll send me the copy so i can take it with me to the interview. They call USCIS and get it updated so that they will get the NOA2 notice. I would call one time to update the address, and then call them a few days later to confirm the address change. The NOA 2 letter will be needed later when adjusting status, so if it is mailed to wrong address and then lost, you will be filing an I-824 and paying a fee to get a replacement one.
