K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresPoverty Guidelines 2007 and 125%

You are supposed to include yourself. Not sure about your kids that don't live with you.

If you pay any financial support for the children, you're supposed to claim them as a member of your household. Regardless of the amount of time they live with you.

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresWhat do we do?
I am unsure how much help you will receive here regarding the mess that's in front of you. It's obvious you realize that illegal is illegal. There are no shortcuts through this process and you see the risks and consequences of the illegal route taken here. I'm not going to preach to you because I am certain you will get flooded with a ton of comments on this topic. The only thing I have to say is about that car dealership manager paying by cash. Employers who support this know it's wrong as the government is cracking down on these companies. Getting paid under the table without having taxes deducted from salaries is why a lot American citizens do not support illegal immigration. People here that work legally have to pay taxes into the system to keep it moving. It's not our choice. But we have to do it. :ranting:

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures325A for petitioner

I meant since I am a US citizen, do I still need to fill out the residence and employer information, or just the top half plus the signatures. I guess I'm just hoping some part of this process can be trimmed down.

"Trimmed down"? That would be nice in this process! But there are no shortcuts. If USCIS requires it, it has to be done as part of the process. It is usually required to both the petitioner and beneficiary ARE required to fill out all 4 pages of G-325A. All 4 pages need original signatures! All 4 pages are different at the bottom. Don't do what I did and ASSUME all were the same. They weren't and it was my mistake for doing so. I'm waiting for my RFE (Request For Evidence) to arrive requesting new G-325A's. Read the guides on this site. They're helpful.

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresI-797 NOA1 Wife's Last Name Mis-Spelled.

Hi,

Recieved my I-130 NOA1 - I-797, all the information is correct except for my wife's last name, which is also my last name. In the Benificiary Name area, my wife's last name is missing one letter, it's a typeo......

what is to be done now?

i recieved it friday at 7pm, too late to call USCIS....; i will have to call 8AM Monday morning; what can i expect ?

let me know if you guys have any advice.

If there any of the information is incorrect, you need to call the phone number at the bottom of the NOA immediately. That's what the instructions state. You will need to follow them. I think the only thing you will expect is that they will correct the error. That is what you want, right? ^_^

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresHelp in Signing up G-325A
If you haven't filed for your K-3 yet, you don't have a file number. That will be assigned upon your fiance receiving the NOA-1 (Notice of Action) after the first submission of documents is accepted. If you don't have one, write "NONE".

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionI-134 ANNUAL INCOME FOR SELF-EMPLOYED
THIS QUESTION PERTAINS TO I-134 WHERE I HAVE TO LIST MY ANNUAL INCOME. I AM SELF-EMPLOYED. ON MY 2006 FEDERAL TAX RETURN, I HAVE LINE 22 (TOTAL INCOME) AND I HAVE LINE 37 (ADJUSTED GROSS INCOME). WHICH AMOUNT DO I WRITE ON MY I-134 FOR MY ANNUAL INCOME? LINE 22 OR LINE 37? BOTH AMOUNTS ON LINE 22 AND LINE 37 ARE OBVIOUSLY DIFFERENT. I HAVE RESEARCHED THROUGH THE FORUMS AND I HAVE FOUND CONTRADICTING ANSWERS. I WISH TO AVOID MY I-134 BEING DENIED BECAUSE THE WRONG AMOUNT WAS WRITTEN ON THE I-134. I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE A REPLY TO THIS QUESTION FROM SOMEONE WHO IS SELF-EMPLOYED AND HAVE SUBMITTED THEIR I-134 RECENTLY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME! :)

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionK1 interview and that green form

Do they look at the TOTAL GROSS or FED TAXABLE GROSS?

That is the one question I have not really been able to get a definite answer. Is it line 22 or line 37 on your 1040? Both amounts are different. I cannot find a number to contact USCIS to personally ask whether it is "Total Income" or "Adjusted Gross Income". I am self-employed and to complete I-134, I need to know what the correct answer is. People on here say line 22. Unless, I can actually find the true answer, I am bewlidered like you which one to use. :o

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionHelp! Interview is this Thursday, March 29th!

2. Along w/ the Affidavit of Support form, my fiance also provided me with a letter from his employer confirming how much he earns, how long he's been with the company and his job position. He also gave me some investment summaries and company stocks. HOWEVER, he did not provide me with a bank statement or anything relating to bank info, since he thought that the letter from employer would suffice. Can they deny me because I don't have his bank statement?

Did he meet or exceed the 125% above the 2007 Federal Poverty Guideline level? If he did, I don't believe he needs his bank statements since he met the government requirement for his household.

US Embassy and Consulate Discussionhow long until i know?

My fiancee just went to the embassy this morning for her interview in manila. How long do you think she will be in there before they tell her she was approved or not? I just read about the brit in england, but thats england...anyone know how long they are in there in manila? an hour? 3 hours? 8 hours?

Each interview can vary. Be patient. I don't think they'll keep her locked up for the entire day! If she's approved, they should tell her at that time. Unless, they have reason to request more evidence, review something, etc. Best of luck!
