if you went to the uscis website and created a portfolio with updates via email you'll get an email first, a week or so later you'll get the hardcopy in in the mail. updates (so called 'touches') are not sent trough email, you only see those on the website (and just means the last updated date on your portfolio changed)

hello there.. they will send you a mail once the noa2 is already approved... i just got mine last april 22,2008 ... the letter indicates that they sent my petition to nvc.. i have no idea how long does my petition will stay there before they send the petition to the benificiary country... goodluck for both of us and be patient take care.

i was just wondering whats happening with it,I' m just very curious to know,would they send emails too in updating you on your case?

Not necessarily "working" on it.
Touches mean nothing. They could simply be moving your case from one box to another.
Some people were never touched and then bam, approval.
Don't rely too much on touches, guys.

"touched" is a simplified term for the updates on your case. I don't think the USCIS will send you email with such an update of....your case was moved from one box to another.

congrats on your divorce and upcoming trip hope things are safe my fiance is from gensan also when i went to see her i actually went to gensan and though it might have been dangerous i am exstremely glad i did it gave me a chance to meet her family and also see where and how she lives i went during one of thier festivals and a bomb was set off there one night but we never stayed out after dark so we were safe but i do understand the fear and one reason the slow process drives me nuts at times i want her here where i can try to protect her if you are going to do any traveling while in the philippines i would suggest a day trip to gensan to meet her family and maybe stay at one of the resorts there isla parrila was very nice and very reasonable and close to the city. i wish you all the luck and a speady process and if your gal would like to meet others in gensan for support just have her drop my baby a line she is trying to gather the girls in the area for a group

lawyers will tell you what you waqnt to hear the process unfortunately takes as long as it takes i have seen 3 months i have seen a year he is human to rememberthere are so many factors that can go into the timeline that for anyone to tell you 3 months garenteed they are lieing that said i can understand having someone else deal with the head ache of the paperwork so by all means hire him if he gets her here in 3 months great but be prepared to wait at least six months maybe more i do wish you luck

I understand that time will always tell & bring more security to the relationship or more confirmation, but Danny & I already have enought confirmation & security about getting married & for once I want to do something that is truly from my heart, but my family's opinions definitely do affect me. I want nothing more than for my parents & sister to enjoy & participate in my wedding planning with a pure heart & pure excitement & I wish for nothing other than on the day of my wedding that there would be no doubts in anyone's mind & my father would be completely confident to hand me over to the man of my dreams.

I just don't know how to make my family feel secure if they haven't met him yet...any thoughts?

Hello guys!

A friend of ours just met his fiancee in the Philippines last month. Everything went well. He is bound and determined to have her here this year, but there will be some hindrances along the way. These are the things that he is most concern of: He is still on the process of his divorce, so he cannot really file for a fiance visa, unless it is final - He is aware of this. Second, he filed his tax as married this year since he is not divorce yet, the question is, if and so, the divorce will be finalized, is there a baring on the tax paper he filed as married if he submits the divorce paper along with it when he files for the fiance visa? or does he have to wait next year to file as single?

I hope somebody could enlighten this concern.

Tapos nong second visit ko sabi nong nurse kailangan may deal daw kami..i-ultrasound nya daw ako kung papayag daw ako na tingnan nya yong cervix ko ..yon yong papasok nya daliri nya sa loob...naku tagal nya akong napapayag.Kung di lang ako buntis ayaw ko talaga gawin yon. 32 nako ni minsan hindi pako nag pa pap smear.

may tanong lang ako...kasi sa ngayon active pa rin kami ng hubby ko...and im 5 months preggy na...sabi naman ng ob ko its ok as long as di raw ako naga bleeding...but sometimes i get scared kasi baka matamaan si baby matuhog ng hubby ko...kayo ba when kayo nag stop doing it?

Kami ni hubby active pa rin. Tama ka as long as no bleeding involve eh safe. Pero may nabasa ako na safe naman yun during pregnancy kasi ang layo naman ni baby and protected by placenta..hehehehehe. About naman sa vaginal ultrasound naranasan ko on my first ultra sound kasi 7 weeks pa lang ako nun at gustong echeck ng OBGYN ko kung okay lang ba si baby. Hindi naman masakit tsaka di ko nalang pinapansin kasi yung mga mata ko eh nasa monitor, sa baby namin..hehehehehe..Kaya sis masanay kana, sabi ko nga asawa ko hindi nalang siya ang nakakaita sa akin ng h***d ngayon hehehehehe, sabi niya eh ayaw niya man daw eh wla siyang magagawa kasi part talaga pregnancy yun..hehehehehe..

bmtrrbt, glad to know na member ka na rin ng WIC kasi kahit papaano eh makakatulong din yun. try mo mag-ask sa kanila ng mga pregnancy classes if ever gusto mong umattend at may free time ka. kasi nung dating hindi pa ako member sa kanila eh umattend ako ng free classes like nutrition class at breastfeeding class. sayang din yun kasi dagdag kaalaman saka free naman eh

about sa mga pregnancy classes...ayoko mag attend ng ganyan kasi boring tsaka mas lalo naman asawa ko ayaw nya umattend. there was a pinay na nag reapply sya sa wic kasi nung buntis pa sya may mga seminar ang wic then di sya naka attend kasi may work sya...kasi dito pag di ka umattend sa mga seminar eh matatanggal wic mo. sana walang seminar na ibibigay sa akin...hehhehehe

and about sa weight ko...according sa wic chart underweight daw ako dapat mag gain daw ako ng 40 pounds...ayaw ng hubby ko kasi ang laki raw...halos mga co-worker ko laging tinatanong kung kumakain ba raw ako...kasi nung sila nag buntis malaki na tyan nila eh ako ang liit...so medyo nag worry din ako...then today sa work ko may nakita akong buntis maliit ang tyan nya and supposedly mangangank na sya kasi 5 days ago pa due date nya...sabi nya baka raw tomorrow...so di na ako nag worry..kasi i know my baby is normal and kicking kahit maliit ako...pero dahil imomonitor ng wic ang weight ko kaya napipilitan akong uminom ng gatas...eh di naman ako makagatas kaya bumili kami ng hershey syrup para kahit papano maging chocolate drink hehhehehhe.

may tanong lang ako...engot na tanong...hehhehehe...natutulog ba ang baby sa loob ng tummy? kasi there are times na walang kick akong maramdaman...though di naman isang boung araw na walang kick...mga ilang oras lang..then pag nag kick na ang galaw galaw na then stop na naman...siguro napapagod din ang baby noh?

hi pink! thanks for your prayer....i bought pt kit yesterday and supposed to do the home test this morning (should be the 1st pee) but i forgot to bring the kit with me in the cr and just remembered it when i was almost done peeing. oh well, will do it tomorrow and i'll put the kit right on the top of the sink that way i wont forget...

actually when i did my pt i didnt do it in the morning...i did it late afternoon...even when i went to the doctor and they had urine test on me it wasnt the first pee too...and all turned out to be pregnant.

why wait for morning...as long as you have pee you can do it already.

well, thats what i thought too...coz i was thinking that when we did our pregnancy test at st. lukes during medical we were not asked for the 1st morning pee. just some of my friends said its best to do it first thing in the morning when wake up.

i felt so dissapointed....and frustrated right now....parang gusto kong umiyak

kasi we were hoping for a positive result...in fact my husband have even researched already for a prenatal vitamins and what are the nutritious and healthy foods that needs for me and for the baby....

so frustarting!

anyways, thank you all for letting me share my happiness and hopes...it is so dissapointing but im not loosing hope coz i know someday our little angel will come...and hope this thread will still be here and would let me share my happiness again...

Hey girl, I know how frustrating it is kasi ganyang ganayan din ako noon. Ako nga eh delayed lang ng dalawang araw eh hpt agad..lol Kala ko nga hindi na kami makakabuo. Sabi pa ng asawa ko darating nalang yan sa tamang oras at nangyari na ang pinakahihintay namin. Tama yung sinabi ng iba na baka hindi mo pa talaga time kasi may plano naman ang diyos para sa lahat eh kaya keep trying and practising

hi addy, salamat sa encouraging words...ang hirap pala pag yung asang-asa ka that you're pregnant tapos pag nag-pt ka negative naman pala...so dissapointing! siguro nga hindi pa talaga oras na magka-baby kame...baka gusto ni lord tapusin muna visa precess namin then when i get there bigyan Niya na kame ng angel...

Ikaw dyan, hinay2x lang lalo na't napakaselan ng sitwasyon mo. Pasalamat nga ako dahil di ako naka-experience ng maselan na pagbubuntis lalo na sa first trimester.

Yup, naging emotional/madrama din ako paminsan-minsan. Normal lang yon, hwag lang masyadong malunod sa pagka emotional dahil nakaka-apekto din kay baby. Ok lang umiyak atmagdrama once in a while, ganyan daw talaga pag buntis

Ako nga eh kahit nong di pa ako buntis, nagdadrama rin ngayon pa kaya na buntis?

Buti na lang super understanding and supportive ang asawa.

Natutulog din daw ang babies sa womb. Ganon din baby ko, may mga time na di gumagalaw. Minsan pag sobra isang oras na di gumalaw, pinipindot ko tyan ko or niyuyogyog

At ayon gagalaw din. Ewan, siguro paranoid lang. Mas prefer ko na sobrang likot kesa di gumalaw.

At isa pa, pag nanonood kami ng movie lalo na't sobrang lakas ng sound, grabeh kung gumalaw...nakaka-aliw!

haha! asawa ko din niyuyugyog yung tyan ko kapag gusto nya maramdaman baby namin na gumalaw lol!

Nakakaexcite naman yan. Mga in laws ko panay ang tanung akin kung nararamdaman na daw ako..hehehehehe..sabi ko hindi ko sure kasi baka tiyan ko lang yun or kaya gutom lang ako..lol..But I can't wait to feel my baby's kick, sana lang hindi masakit..hehehehe..Sabi ko nga bahala kick lang kick si baby basta wag lang magstretch..wwwwaaa kasi ang sabi nila kapag ganun (stretching) eh sobrang sakit daw. Oh my gulay.

Ang dami nating mga experiences noh..Nakakatuwa na mahirap din. Ako sinusulat ko yung mga nagyari sa akin at ipapabasa ko sa anak ko paglaki..hahahahaha..Hindi pangkonsenya ha pra malaman din niya na kahit anung hirap kinaya ni mommy.

With pap smear naman ang alam ko once a year lang ata ginawa. I tried once nung first pre natal check up ko. Di ko maintindihan kung anung klasing aparatus yung pinasok sa akin..lol pinasok daw, pero hindi naman talaga masakit kasi may ilalagay naman silang gel ba yun. Tsaka hindi tlaga matagal yung process mga ilang minuto pero depende din cguro sa OBGYN mo.

Ganyan talaga pag first trimester. I remember no'ng second visit ko sa OB di ako nag gain kahit man lang isang pound. Ngunit, sa second trimester during my 4th visit 11lbs na gain ko, grabe.

Buti na lang di ka nagsusuka or nahihilo. May mga buntis na mahirap pinag daanan sa first trimester. Pasalamat din ako no'ng first trimester ko, di ako nahihilo. Pero nasuka ako pangalawang beses, tapos wala na. At yon din walang ganang kumain.

Mga mommies I'm back. Hay na ospital nanaman ang lola about 2 weeks ago akala ko eh mauuprihan ako ng wla sa oras dahil may nakita silang abnormality sa gal bladder ko pero thank God at it turned out negative kasi nga nadehydrate ako then chest pain din. Hay kaloka. Ngayon medyo magana na akong kumain. Minsan nalang din nagsusuka lalo na kapag gutom ako. Parang bang may acid sa tiyan ko na ewan. Tsaka ito pa ang weird na nararamdaman ko lately, kapag gabi para bang blangko yung tiyan ko ewan ko tsaka yung feeling na hindi ka mapakali, nararanasan niyo rin ba yun. Hay kahirap palang magbuntis at alam ko simula pa lang ito. Diyos ko po help me.
