Philippines	All pregnant Mommies	My wife's vomitting stopped since January 13. We tried everything to get it to stop, and then got a safe nausea pill at her check-up too. Now for 4 days she hasnt used the nausea pill and she still is ok. She is 13 weeks 5 days now. Taking vitamins now nightly too with no more complaints or problems. I bring her a vitamin each night to her in bed, with the pill covered in a spoonful of fruit yogurt, and a few more bights of that to eat after, along with hot water to drink. Still take precautions when waking in the morning, having her lay upright at a 45 degree angle for 30 minutes while I bring her a piece of dry toast to eat and then fix her breakfast. Her appetite is good now, and she eats well. She wasnt liking to eat most vegetables, and so I tried a couple things. Carnation chocolate instant breakfast drink which she drinks right down, as a snack late each afternoon. And also soups. I made her home made cream of broccoli soup, and she loves it, and the broccoli is so good for her! Also she loves cream of celery soup too now. We will continue with the soup thing for the vegetables. For getting her to eat fruits, I simply asked her what her favorite fruits would be, and the ones of those which wouldnt upset her stomach. So for breakfast each day I fix her a plate of sliced kiwi, and slices of banana, to eat along with her oatmeal and sometimes eggs. She will drink cranberry juice too. At lunch and at night she eats fresh cantalope now, and I bought her honeydew melon which she eats, and she likes all that. Her tummy is showing some now, but still very little here at almost 14 weeks. I am expecting her to show more soon at around 15 weeks.... Is that about right? Her bleeding after intercourse and spotting has also stopped now. The baby has a strong heartbeat, and all is well as of our last check-up. She is more rested, and seems much happier now. She takes a nap each day, usually a couple hours after waking up in the morning. God bless you all... Brian in Tennessee Brijo, great to know that everything is doing alright now with your wife. Philippines	All pregnant Mommies	ganun ba...buti pa kayo alam nyo weight ng baby nyo nung nadischarge kayo hehehehe kasi ako hindi...wala naman silang sinabi...wala rin nakalagay sa discharge paper...basta ang alam ko 6.4 ko syang pinanganak after two days namin na nadischarge eh nag follow up check up kami for his jaundice and he was 6.2...nung nag one month check up he was 9.2 pounds pero parang for me he is still small hehehehe...pero ayoko din naman tumaba baby ko...hehehehe oo nga sagabal nga yung cord...kaya i was happy too nung natanggal na... are you breastfeeding or formula? ano naman milk ng baby mo? kasi may coupon akong natanggap sa safeway kagabi...it was buy one take one enfamil gentlease lipil na formula 12.9 oz...sayang nga at di enfamil ang gatas ng baby ko pero nakatulong din yung 5 dollars off na coupon ko sa similac...kagabi nung bumili kami nag try ako na buksan yung mga 12.9oz na similac kung may coupon ba hahahahha...pero wala akong nakita hehehehehe... may tanong lang ako sa mga mommies...yung mga hubby nyo ba eh malaki ang pasensya sa babies ninyo? kasi hubby ko natural na yung pagiging impatient nya...pagdating sa baby ganun din sya...pag umiiyak baby ko and di nya mafigure out ano ang gusto ng baby namin eh nilalagay nya and he will say okay cry all you want...then sinasabi nya sa akin see he has colic already...nagsisi nga ako bat tinuruan ko sya about sa colic pinakita ko ang youtube video about baby with colic na iyak ng iyak thats why he learn about colic...and simple lang gusto ng baby ko he just wants to eat or change diaper or ilagay kasi ayaw rin ng baby ko na matagal syang kinakarga...kasi hubby ko he will just keep on carrying him and talking to our baby saying whats wrong with you, hey stop it you big baby,,,etc etc.. so sinabi ko sa kanya our baby is so easy to please you just need to understand what he wants...minsan natatawa na lang ako kasi halatang he is trying hard to be patient pero yun napuputol talaga ang pisi nya...actually almost two months na baby ko siguro second time pa nya today na nagchange ng diaper sa baby namin. kakalerky noh... and about sa bottle...actually yung feeding bottle ng baby ko is very cheap yung regular feeding bottle lang kasi for me why spend so much about it...it makes no difference...so one day i ask my hubby to buy more bottle kasi nga nakakapagod hugas agad kasi nagagamit halos lahat yung bottle kasi 6 ang bottles nya...so he knew about colic from me kaya nashock ako at bumili sya ng tag 15 dollar na gerber...tapos di ko masyadong ginagamit kasi ayaw naman ng baby ko kasi yung nipple di sya sanay and sobrang malakas ang tulo so my hubby always tell me oh i guess you want colic too bad baby mommy wants you to have colic hmm hmm...do you think it makes a big difference kung yung pang colic free na bottle ang ipadede kay baby? Breastfeeding ako RR. Di ako gumagamit ng formula pero thank sa offer sa coupon..Hehehehe..Purely breastfeed talaga baby ko. Minsan kapag hindi ko kaya ang sakit eh nagpapump ako para makapahinga ng konti tapos dede nanaman ulit sa akin. About kay hubby, super patient pero ala naman kaming problema na naencounter ky baby so far kasi umiiyak lang ito kapag kailangan ng palitan ang diaper niya at gutom. Ang routine talaga niya kapag gumising eh palit agad ng diaper at magdede, after nun eh balik sa tulog nanaman. Ganun lang palagi kaya di kami nahihirapan mag-asawa..Hehehehe..Tsaka si hubby eh nag-eenjoy naman sa pagpapalit ng diaper, mas gusto nga ng anak namin kapag siya ang gumagawa..lol..advantage on my part.	frostysoftyeaton	Female	Philippines	2010-01-26 10:59:00
Philippines	All pregnant Mommies	wow dali naman natanggal cord nya...baby ko matagal...kaya punas punas muna sya noon pero sometimes pinapaliguan ko di ko lang binabasa ang cord nya... ilang pounds na ba baby mo now? at ilang pounds din sya nung nadischarge? Oo nga eh, which is a good way naman kasi ako yung kinakabahan lalo na kapag pinapalitan ko yung diaper niya. Natatakot ako na masagi yung umbilical cord niya..Hehehehe..Pero ngayon okay na, kagabi natanggal tapos kaninang umaga eh nilisan ng doctor niya yung mga tira tira..Hay di na ako masyadong magwoworry kapag pinapalitan ko diaper niya..Hehehehe Not so much weight though..Hehehehe..Nung pinanganak siya eh 5 pounds 11 ounces siya, nung nadischarge kami eh 5 pounds 7 ounces nalang. She lose 4 ounces nung nsa ospital kami. Today eh 5 pounds 12.5 ounces na siya..Hehehehehe.. She is really doing great when it comes feeding time. Lakas lumamon ng anak ko..Lol which is great naman. Sa isang dedehan eh nakaka 3-4 ounces siya tsaka every 2 hours talaga dumedede..hehehehe.. Philippines	All pregnant Mommies	Had my baby's first doctors appointment this morning. Yipey!!!She gained weight in weeks time. Nag-alala talaga ako nung nasa ospital pa kami kasi bumaba timbang niya pero sabi nila eh normal lang daw yun sa mga new born baby's. Hay halos maiyak ako nung malaman kung bumaba timbang ng baby ko..Hay ang pagiging ina talaga..Pero kanina, ayun naggain na siya ng weight. Naimpress nga doctor niya kasi very unusual daw sa baby na maggain agad ng weight. Hay we are happy kasi our baby is very healthy and very active. Natanggal na din yung umbilical cord niya..Her next appointment will be 2 months from now..Hay.. Ganito pala ang pagiging ina. Halos hindi ka mapakali lalo na sa gabi, I'm so worried na baka mabulunan or kung anu ano pa yung mga iniisip ko..Lagi ding puyat pero inienjoy ko naman. Ala sa akin yung maya't maya eh babangon ka para magpadede or magpalit ng diaper..Hay kahit anung pagod eh sulit agad kapag nginitian ka ng anak mo. Kamustas mga mommies? Philippines	All pregnant Mommies	hay, katuwa naman talaga panoorin pictures ng mga babies dito ...ang ku-cute super! mas lalo tuloy akong naaatat na makitang nakangiti ang baby namin... anyways, mga mommies, i have a few questions... 1.) i have read on the internet that having trouble sleeping at night is normal during (early) pregnancy...kaso, halos hindi ako makatulog every night even after having a glass of hot milk (as suggested), im having to force myself to sleep...any suggestion? 2.) i have been noticing lately, that my stomach (yes my tummy) farts a lot (excuse me mommies)...this never happened to me before, just now that im pregnant...is it normal? 3.) according to what i've read on the internet (again) bout american's "kasabihan", how true that telling people about your pregnancy inside the first trimester is bad luck? 4th and last question (for now lol)...magsi-6 weeks pa lang ang tiyan ko pero medyo halata na siya and i can feel that my jeans/bottom pajamas are getting tight...ganun din ba kayo nung 6 weeks niyo? minsan tuloy naiisip namin ng asawa ko na baka kambal ang pinagbubuntis ko. thanks in advance mommies! FORMULA FEEDING EVERY 4 HOURS AS NEEDED. BREASTFEED EVER2 HOURS Nag feed ako ng baby ko na formula kagabi.after ko feed he popo.. then hindi sya naga stop mag sup2x sa pacifier.. parang gutom parin sya tapos pag mawala ung pacifier sa mouth nya naga iyak sya.. tapos ni feed ko naman sya after 3 hours kasi nga lakas nya sup2x doon sa pacifier then after i give formula he POPO again..d naman sya watery. my laman.. the same..everytime i feed him naga POPO sya.. NORMAL bayan?? about sa pacifier lakas nya mag SUP2x.. parang gutom sya.. after ko sya feed. ipa burp ko sya then lakas parin mag sup2x pag nawala ung pacifier sa mouth nya iyak ang baby,, wala ako 2log talaga.. ung formula na gamit ko galing un sa hospital ung ready to use na..cemilac un.. then nag try kami ung powder same brand.. nag popo sya pero d after feeding.. QUESTION KO: sa new born how many hours bago ko sya ipa feed talaga?? do i need to wait 4 hours?? about pacifier?? normal ba un na cge sya sup2x after na feed ko na sya cge parin sya sup2x.. then pag nawala sa mouth nya iyak2x sya... WALA TALAGA AKO 2LOG as in.. please need some advice.. kelangan ko naba ipunta ang baby sa DR? Ang baby ko every 2 hours gigising para dumide. Every time gigising siya eh papalitan ko din ang diaper kasi nagpopo lagi which is good naman kaysa hindi magpopo. Mas kampanti ako kapag nagpopo siya. About sa pacifier, hindi ko siya masyadong sinasanay. After feeding her eh hindi ko binibigay yung pacifier, sinisiguro ko lang na busog siya. Tsaka sis di naman ibig sabihin na gutom siya kung panay SUP2x siya sa pacifier, mga baby kasi minsan gustong may sinisupsop kahit busog na..Hehehehehe..But like I said di ko siya sinasanay sa pacifier, dede agad kapag gutom. Ang sabi din sa akin sa ospital eh every 3 hours padedehin kung breastfeeding ka, pero ang baby ko eh nagigising talaga every 2 hours pra magpalit ng diaper at magdede. Sorry curious lang ako. Oo nga doc gracey catholic ba? Bakit me baptismal class pa at yung letter pa from the parish priest ng mga Godparents. Di rin catholic husband ko pero open naman sya sa idea and we are planning to do the baptismal in the Phils. kahit later na. Las Vegas - Sabi ng OB ko hindi porke nadulas ka eh delikado na si baby, depende nalang kapag dinugo ka. About naman sa birth class depende sayo kung gusto mo pero ako walang plano kasi dagdag gastos lang yan. Tama si pink ang pag ire parang pag poopoo lang at sabi din ng iba. Pink - tama ko, nagkakaroon ako ng cramps kapag nagpapadede ako..Hay..Sa akin may niresita na gamot for pain pero just as needed lang. Nung andun ako pa ako sa ospital, ala talaga akong iniinom tsaka manageable naman yung pain kasi napaka-uncomfortamble talaga. Been home for a couple of days now at sumasakit lalo..Hay kaya binili ko na yung prescription pero iinumin ko lang to kung hindi ko na matake yung sakit..Tama ka pink, takot na takot akong magpopo at umihi kasi baka bumuka yung tahi ko..Hay sana maghilom na ito.. Brettane - oo nga nasagot na lahat.. Okay talaga mga mommies dito. Mabilis pa sa alas kwatro kung sumagot..Heheheheh..About sa ultrasound, 3 times lang sa akin at base on my experience ala ng ultrasound on the final stage ng pregnancy. Tinanong ko kasi doctor ko kung may gagawin pang ultrasound ang sabi eh wla na at depende nalang kung may complications sa bata.. Shiela - tama si Pink hindi uso dito yung hindi maliligo after manganak. Ako naligo ako the next day at okay naman, mas refereshing nga eh. To Las Vegas: 1. Meron akong insurance, pero ask ko lang if paglabas ba ng hosp ay magbayad agad ng full pyament or ipadala sa house ang bill? Mga magkano kaya ibabayad sa hosp para mabudget ko mga expenses. - So far sa akin eh pinapadalhan ako ng billing statement. Depende din sayo kung gusto mong bayaran in full. Pwede nga din na magset ka ng payment method sa kanila kung ayaw mong bayaran in full. 2. Kailangan ba talagang mag-enroll sa birth class na yan para lang matutong umiri or kahit di na ay pwede na rin, kasi sa Pinas wala naman birth class di ba? awa ng Diyos nakakapanganak naman... - Nasa sayo kung gusto mo talaga, pero ako di ako nagpa-enrol. 3. Meron ba sa inyong napaupo dahil nadulas (nadulas kc ako sa snow and fall down on my butt last month) pero okay naman heartbeat ng baby at sumisipa siya...wala kayang masamang epekto un sa baby paglabas? - So far di ko naexperience to during my pregnancy, pero for sure yung ibang mga mommies may maeshare. lastly, meron din ba ditong binyag din? kc husband ko di siya catholic kaya di niya alam tongue.gif - tinanung ko din hubby ko niyan, sabi niya mga catholic lang daw gumagawa niyan dito eh hindi din catholic hubby ko pero sabi niya kung gusto daw pabinyagan baby namin eh wla naman daw problema, cguro kakausapin ko lang preacher namin about this matter. Normal lang ba yung backpain kung saan ininject yung epi? How about cramping, normal lang din ba yun? Ilang days ba bago maghilom ang sugat at bleeding? Ganito ba talaga kahirap magkikilos? Mahapdi ba talaga minsan? Anung ginawa niyo or ininom na gamot para mas mabilis gumaling? Philippines	All pregnant Mommies	Hay sa wakas at nakauwi na rin kami..Wheeewww!!! The baby is okay, ako okay din, sakit lang nung tahi ko . Salamat sa lahat ng naggreet. Hay di ko din inaasahan na lalabas siya ng maaga pero were happy na rin kasi sa wkas nahawakan na namin ang aming baby. Ang sabi lang nila eh medyo premature siya pero fully develop naman lahat ng system niya. Sabi lang ng doctor to keep her warm kasi sa sobrang liit niya eh madali siyang ginawin.. Hay ala pa akong tulog. Nagigising every 2 hours at dumidede..toinks..Dumating na yun "walang tulugan" moment ko..Hehehehehe..Pero worth it naman. Tulog si Mae ngayon kaya dali dali akong magpost..Hehehehehe.. Sis Brettane - sabi ng doctor medyo premature siya pero okay naman lahat sa system niya, fully develop naman. Natagalan lang kami sa ospital kasi gusto nilang siguraduhin na kumakain siya ng tama and so far lakas lumamon. sakit na nga ng nipples ko..Wheewww! Tsaka 5-6 times a day kung magpoop..Hay naku pero nag-eenjoy kaming mag-asawa..hehehehe!! Sis Sheila - congrats din sayo..Sa wakas!!! Sis Marybeth - Ikaw na susunod. Pero di masyadong pinansin kasi normal lang na may contraction pero ang problema ko umaatake every 5 minutes at minsan 3 minutes apart. Di ko alam kung real labor na ba ito or false alarm lang. Philippines	All pregnant Mommies	biglaan ung schedule nya sa akin for the 1st NST d ko alam bakit nya ako pina NST doon na ako nag ask sa NURSE sabi nya. gusto daw ng dr make sure na ang baby is ready to induce,, un lang.. and everything is went well.. wala talaga sya sinasabi sa akin na d okey ang baby.. then un na pinabalik ako yesterday 15th to repeat NST and another ULTZ bioprofile and AFI and the results are okey.. and she want me to INDUCE that day.. eh yaw ko.. :-) Nku sis di mo pala tinuloy yung pagpapa-induce, well kung yun talaga ang kagustuhan niyong mag-asawa at talagang di ka comfortable sa desisyon ng doctor mo eh nasa sa inyo na yun . Sa akin naman kung hindi lalabas baby ko til my next appointment sa thursday, kakausapin namin ang docotr ko about induce labor around last week of january. Ayaw ko ng paabutin to ng february..Heehehehehe..Open naman ako sa mga options eh..Hay i can't wait..Asawa ko panay akong pinapalakad,nakakatulong din naman..hay! Baka worried lang din ang doctor mo about sa cord ni baby kasi di niya sure kung nakapulopot o hindi. Yun ang mas mahirap kaya siguro gusto ka niyang iinduce that day. Philippines	All pregnant Mommies	Hello... ako starting weight ko 119lbs now my weight is 145lbs.. skinny din ako before.. pero ung tummy ko d syado malaki sabi nga ng nurse d2.. wish nila kung ma buntis sila ganito lang kalaki sa akin hehehehe.. pag naka talikod ako dmo malaman na buntis ako.. naku kung nag gain kaman ng weight don't worry kasi nga my baby kasa tummy mo. basta d kalang over weight :-) good luck. On the way kami sa DR ko now.. for the last test.. then we will see kung ma 2loy ang induce this coming 19th :-) hope everything went well ingatz.. balitaan mo ako :-) I was 110 lbs when I got pregnant. Pro sibrang rough yung first trimister ko and I was down to 93 lbs ang tikling tikling ko nun..LOL..Twice akong naospital. Pero ngayon nasa 135 lbs na pero prang hindi yung katawan ko yung lumalaki..Hehehehe..Sabi nga ng MIL ko, yung fluid at baby daw ang nagpapabigat..Toinks...Sis Sheila pareho pala tayo, maliit din tiyan ko..I was on my 8th months of pregnancy when I started showing. From 1st month til 7th di mo talaga malalaman na buntis ako kasi sobrang flat..LOL..Pero ngayun ayun may laman na konti pero hindi talaga as in, prang pang 7 months lang yung tiyan ko. One time nga nung nsa saloon ako, sabi ko I'm 8 months pregnant, sabi pa nung babae na gumupit ng buhok na nung siya nung 8 months eh sobrang laki nung tiyan niya..hahahaha.. I will be having another appointment next week again. Philippines	All pregnant Mommies	yung non strees test eh yun yung pahihigain ka tapos lalagyan ng devise yung tummy mo one is for the heart beat and the other one is for the contractions... i had that kasi maliit baby ko...so i needed to do that two times a week... you dont really need to do that unless kung wala ka namang complications but i guess like to shiela her doctor just wanna make sure before inducing kaya she doing that. ganun din ako sa check up ko before sa ob ko minsan di tatagal ng 15 minutes yung check up ko kasi wala naman akong tanong kasi nagreresearch rin ako online or nanonood sa tv or dito sa vj but then my ob was a good doctor kasi she really made sure that my baby was fine... shiela try mo ask pag nag AFI ka na kung how much na fluid ng baby mo kasi kung bababa ng 5 eh low fuild na yun. Ah so normal lang pala yung ginagawa niya..Hehehehe..Siya din naman after niyang ginagawa sirimunyas niya ang sabi lang everything sounds good. Philippines	All pregnant Mommies	hello sa lahat, may sipon na nga baby ko...kagabi uncomfortable sya masyado pag nilagay ko iiyak pag kinarga ko naman nakakatulog...last night for us was kinda worst kasi sumakit ipin ng hubby ko then ako naman sumakit hita ko baby ko naman may sipon... buti na lang nung natulog na kami straight tulog ng baby ko... ngayon pag uwi namin galing fishing nag uumpisa na naman sya kaya pinaliguan ko na lang at eto ngayon natutulog hahahahaha...ligo lang naman pala katapat nitong baby ko...di ko kasi maafford na kargahin sya ng ilang oras kasi kaylangan ko rin maglinis ng bahay and kaylangan ko rin kumain or else mababaliw ako hehehehehe... about sa diaper...sayang naman kasi kung taga wewe eh palit agad kaya hinihintay ko na mapuno muna yung diaper pero di ko na hinihintay na mapuno...everytime i change his diaper i wipe him with baby wipes tapos lagay pulbos...di ko sya nilalagyan ng pulbos sa kili-kili at leeg sa ehem nya lang at puwet at mukha pero ngayon di ko masyadong nilalagyan ang mukha kasi baka makatrigger lalo sa sipon nya ang pulbo... shiela, i guess your doctor just want to make sure that your baby is ready...pero bakit ka pala magpapainduce? malaki na ba baby mo? overdue ka na ba? maliit ba baby mo? or maliit na ba fluid mo? kasi ako ininduce ako dahil maliit na fluid ko...nag nst ako and ultrasound din before ako ininduce kasi they want to make sure that baby is fine kasi maliit raw... but i guess your doctor is nagmamadali or something...kasi kung normal naman why in a hurry...and twice a week din akong nag NST and AFI just to monitor the baby's heart rate, movement and fluid. Nku ako'y nalilito na tuloy..Lol..Kasi minsan tinanung ko yung doctor ko kung may upcoming ultrasound pa ba ako ang sabi niya wala na daw pwera nalang kung may complications. Hay gusto ko lang malaman ang timbang ng baby ko kung gaano na kabigat. Tsaka ala naman siyang nababanggit about stress test or something pero bka bukas kasi weekly na din yung check up ko..Hay minsan la akong tiwala sa doctor ko kasi ala naman masyadong ginagawa, measure dito, measure doon, chinicheck heart beat ni baby, mga ganun lang ba. Buti nalang nagbabasa ako kaya minsan la na rin akong masyadong tanung sa kanya kasi nasagot na yung mga tanung ko..Lol..Pra akong nag-aaral..toinks.. Sis Shiela - nurse ka pala? I don't know.. this friday again ULITIN ung test ULTZ specific BIOPHYSICAL PROFILE AND AFI Then another NST - I am a little bit worried.. i don't know.. d kaya nag mamadali dr ko?? hehee please need some advice :-) Naku sis nalalapit na talaga d-day mo. Philippines	All pregnant Mommies	Thanks... Yeh, hard to see the one you love suffer. She disappears into the bedroom where there is a plastic bucket there, all alone, and vomits in it in the bed, and says nothing, and it makes me feel sad. When she disappears like that I go looking for her and immediately go to her and hold her. I tell her I just want to be there with her when she feels that way. All I can do is hold her and I do what I can. I get a warm, wet cloth for her and wipe her face, but the smell of the detergent in the rag from being washed even makes her sick. I had her sit up even though she was tired and wanted to sleep, because I think that helps to get the acidy stomach to subside, rather than laying down right away. While sitting there on the bed I did massage her with some oil awhile to get her relaxed and I combed and stroked her hair like she likes and that seemed to have helped too. She is resting now, sleeping, but occassionally gets up to spit more saliva from her mouth. Havent been able to get her to take prenatal vitamins in a couple days because it only adds to the stomach upset. She has gained one pound this first trimester... from 104 to 105. They say she is supposed to put on 3-5 pounds for her size during 1st trimester. Hopefully she will make up for that during her 2nd trimester. I wish I knew of a vitamin suppliment here like Anmum she could use...maybe some liquid one that was less disturbing to her stomach. I dont know of anything. We go to the gyn the 14th, her 2nd clinic visit. The first was in the Philippines in Quezon City, at 8 weeks 4 days. At that time the report said "Transvaginal Sonography: Uterus is in the midline, anteverted and regularly enlarged containing a gestational sac with a 1.7 cm alive embryo. Fetal heart rate is 153 b/min. Cervical canal is closed. Adnexae are clear. Remainder is unremarkable. Impression: Pregnancy, alive, 8 weeks and 4 day gestational age." That was on December 19. Her spotting is light. She bled heavy after intercourse after it had stopped for a few weeks just a couple days ago. No more intercourse until we see the doctor again. Last she mentioned about any bleeding was yesterday morning, just 2 very small spots of it. She has had bleeding like that throughout her pregnancy. The doctor wasnt too alarmed, and gave her something to help stop it on December 19, but she never took it because it stopped on its own right after the doctor visit. She says she still has the stuff and will take it if the bleeding continues. I wish she would go ahead and take it anyway right now. Brian in Tennessee I do understand your concern for your wife and I know it is not easy. Good thing she gained some weight during her first tri. With me before, i never gained any but instead lose a lot. I was 110 lbs when I got pregnant but because of morning sickness I was down to 93 lbs. But slowly I gained my weight back and now weighing 133 lbs..What you are doing is a great help to her ( being there for her all the time ). Philippines	All pregnant Mommies	My wife is really having a hard time with morning sickness (and nights too). she is now 12 weeks pregnant. I try everything for her. Inclined for 15-30 minutes in the morning. Plain, dry toast to eat before getting up. No fluids at meal time, but more fluids between meals. Smaller and more frequent meals. She is doing better in the mornings, but at nights after supper and before bed she is having it hard. Not sure what to do. It is daily. I have her rinse her mouth with baking soda in water so the acid doesnt attack ehr enamel on teeth. My mom lost her teeth because of that. She wont take any antacids or medications for it. All she cant drink mostly is hot water. Dont know what to do anymore, especially at night before bed... Brian in Tennessee I meant she can ONLY drink hot water Hey Brijo, nice to see you back. Morning sickness is really tough during the first trimister of pregnancy but soon your wife will be able to gain her appetite back. Like me before, I also had a very rough pregnancy ( first trimister). As I've mentioned on my earlier post that I was admitted twice because of morning sickness. I was able to gain my appetite back on my 15th week of pregnancy. I was really happy when I surpassed every stage of it, to the point that I was about to give up. I know how hard it is to see her on this situation. My husband before can't even stand seeing me having a hard time and he can't do anything about it. Meron bang ready-to-use na milk ang Parent's Choice? D, ay naku! problema ko din yang constipation lalo na nung buntis ako. Effective sa akin ang prune juice kaysa stool softener. Kapag mga 3 days na akong di napoopoo eh iinum ako ng prune juice sa ika 3rd day tas after ilang mins or hrs eh mapoopoo na ako. Eve, mabuti naman at nakapagpatingin ka na at good dahil di naman pala cya ganun na malala Ady (o ayan wala ng ate yan! lol), retired nurse pala si MIL mo. Di mo kasi nabanggit yan sa chat hehe. Mabuti at kasama mo cya (mabuti nga ba yun?! lol) at least may kasama kang may background sa medicine Yung baby ko nakaktuwa kanina kasi kinakausap ko cya tas sabi ko "coo" tas ayun yung bibig nya eh binilog nya na para bang tina-try nyang sabihin yung "coo" tapos yung daddy nya eh nilalaro cya. Ang ginawa nya eh dinilaan nya si baby tas nialalaro nya dila nya tas ayun ginaya din ni baby. Kakatuwa makita yung development ng baby lalo na at 3 weeks old pa lang cya eh he knows to mimic na Pink- Oo retired nurse yung MIL ko..Hehehehe..Pero minsan sinasabi niya pa rin to call my OB just to make sure kasi matagal na din siyang retired tsaka biruin mo ba naman 39 years ago pa yung nagbuntis siya..Hehehehe..dun sa panganay niya.. Philippines	All pregnant Mommies	wow malapit ka na...good luck sayo. about sa formula...so far di pa ako nakabili ng formula...pero it was nice thing na may nagbigay sa akin ng sample kasi di pa naman talaga lalabas agad yung breastmilk kaya nung time na nandito na kami sa bahay eh di sya nabubusog kaya umiiyak kaya yun ginamit ko yung sample formula...similac advance earlyshield yung binigay sa akin na sample. kung may sample ka na natanggap or matanggap from the hospital then yun gamitin mo kung wala naman bumili ka na lang or ask the pedia anong marecommend nya...pero mas maganda kung may formula ka na sa bahay para di ka mahirapan lalo na pag umiyak si baby baka di mo na alam gagawin mo kasi syempre pag first time mom there are times na madaling mag worry kaya di alam kung anong gagawin. hehehehe... Weekly check-up mo na ba? Oo sis weekly na yung check up. May appointment nanaman ako this coming Wednesday..Hay!!!Nung last appointment ko yun nga ang sabi ng doctor ko na bumaba na daw ang ulo ni baby tapos may sinabi pa siyang at least two weeks from now..ewan ko kung bat niya nasabi yun..Hehehehe..Hay we will see nalang talaga!!Di pa nga ako nakapagprepare ng mga gamit na dadalhin sa ospital pero nalabhan ko na lahat ng gamit ni baby..Hehehehe..Tsaka yung room niya konting ayos nalang..Hayy!!..nakakabagot minsan. Philippines	All pregnant Mommies	Mrs Eaton...normal lang lahat yang nararamdaman mo. Yong pain and pressure sa abdomen normal din yan kasi nasa baba na yong head ni baby. About naman sa dilating..ako non Oct 9 yong prenatal visit ko..Im not even dilated but comes Oct. 11 bigla na lang pumutok yong bag water..ni walang kasignal signal manganganak na pala ako. At isa wag pigilin ang popo..mas maganda makapopo kayo bago kayo manganak..para pag iri eh walang sagabal hehehe. Goodluck! Naku! nakakatakot naman yan sis. Hehehehe!!! Ang inaalala ng MIL ko eh baka kagaya daw ako sa ibang babae na walang kasignal signal na on labor na..Hahaha..Kaya panay ang check sa akin. Retired nurse kasi ito. Mas nagpapanic pa sila kaysa sa akin..Lol..Kagabi medyo nagpanic yung father in law ko kasi nung napadaaan ako sa harap niya biglang sabi na mas lalo pa daw bumaba yung tiyan ko..lol..Kaya ayun kinausap nanaman ako ng MIL ko na kung may nararamdaman ba daw akong kakaiba, sabi ko wla naman, same as usual pa rin..Hehehehe..Kinakausap ko nga baby ko na sana wag munang lumalas hanggat wala pa papa niya. Next week pa uuwi husband ko from work, sana makinig anak ko..Lol hello frosty, kala ko nanganak ka na hehehehe... oo nga wag ka matakot magpoopoo pero wag ka rin umiire ng sobra kung pagpoopoo ka kasi nga baka baby na yung lumabas hehehehehe...natural din yung parang sinisipa yung ehem mo at yung pressure sa lower abdomen...about sa contractions...pag magkakaroon ka ng contractions na kahit anong gawin mo eh nandyan pa rin and close yung interval ng contraction mo and sabay din ng pain so yun naglalabor ka na. actually mafefeel mo naman yan kasi iba na ang feeling. Nung last appointment ko eh sabi ng doctor ko na heads down position na daw baby ko and dropped pero di pa naman ako nagdadilate, normal ba na parang nagdrop din yung tummy mo? 2. About sa contraction, di kasi nagbibilang kung nakailang contraction ako,kasi nakakaligtaan ko,what should I do? 3. Minsan may nararandaman akong pressure on my lower abdomen, tsaka minsan eh parang mahapdi yung puson ko, di ko maintindihan. 4. Kapag gumagalaw baby ko parang sinisipa niya yung "ehem" ko, ganun ba yun? 5. Nakakatakot magpopo minsan kasi feeling ko baka baby na ang lumabas..lol..Normal ba yun? 6. Minsan sumasakit tiyan ko, anu ba yun? Dami kung tanung no pero so far yan yung mga nararamdaman ko..Hay..Tapos ang bilis bilis kung mapagod..hay..
