Mexico, Latin & South America	Prayer for Husbands/Wives	Jengles, thanks again for sharing this. I shared it with my best friend and sister; we are going to do this for the next 31 days and at the end of each week, we are going to get together to talk about things that we may need to pray with each other for and just the changes that we may see in our hubbies after doing this. Mexico, Latin & South America	Er, I feel lost now...	Yuh knoa Lita, mi feel seh yuh soon get the NOA2 and hubby going to be here by summer. Mi have dis sneaky feeling. Nuh fret, yuh soon be in the frenzy!!! Cejf - I am sure you are very confused, but don't fret it will get clear soon. You don't have to worry about the Choice of Agent form to send to NVC. For K-1 visas, once NVC receives the case they assign the case number and send it to Jamaica, where everything else happens. You need to fill out the DS-230 and the best thing seems to be once you know that Kingston has it, email them for an appointment to bring in the form to them. That will move things faster for you in reference to an interview date. You are going to need to do the medical (which should be scheduled at least 2 weeks before your interview) and get your police certificates. Make sure you have your birth certificate (the new one from RGD) and I heard it's good to have handy your Non-impediment form, which states that you are able to get married, ie you're not married to anyone else. Jason&Marla are going the K3 route which is similar to yours, but you may also want to get in touch with Gill (Deyoungting) who is petitioning for her fiance and was in your shoes a few months ago. She may better be able to guide you along the K1 trail. So happy for you and I hope you hear something soon. If you want to check to see if NVC got your case, you can call 603-334-0700 and enter in your receipt number. The automated system will let you know whether they have received your case or not. Madda get scared and haffi get off the phone cause har nah kno wah fi do inna a tornado eidda. Anyway the storm pass we and move on. So why this morning I goo inna mi other bedroom and water all over the floor! Mi tink ie come frum deh window cause mi juss get new windows and think the man nah put them in right. So me ah stand there an loof for the seep in the window, and all of a sudden mi feel wata ah drop pon mi headtop. WTH!!! Mi look up and the whole cieling ah cova in brown wata spots and there's drips everywhere!!! Long story short, i have a serious leak in my roof that is flooding my back bedroom!!! So this weekend I'm gonna be up on my roof trying to figure out juss how much dis a cost me!! Oh Lita, me suh sarry fe hear you plight. Ah hope ie nuh cast yuh too much . Do yuh tink yuh homeowners insurance weh cova hit? Me wish it wuda rain in NC. We have bad wata restriction. When I told my husband about it last night, he wanted to know if it's always been done like this. Though it is still uncomfortable to consider my father going through this next year (just put his application in this month), I guess it is a necessity. Mexico, Latin & South America	Yardies, at home and a farrin' (Part 4)	Hi Ladies, I am fairly new to the board and from reading the recent posts, is it just these new set of medical that are now requiring "genital" inspections? It seems a little intrusive to me that they would do this for men/women. It's bad enough as women we have our regular gyno checkups without having to endure another one for immigration purposes, if they are in fact doing this to women. Why are our husbands being subjected to this? Just wanted to put that out there, because I just can't understand why they should endure this . Is it now some sort of new requirement? I already looked into Vonage but I could have swore it was Cable & Wireless. Well I've been trying to search and came up w/nothing. Basically I'm looking for a service to get that plus a JA # if possible ASAP!!! Any suggestions??? It's called Netspeak (www.netspeak.com) and it's through C&W...My dad has it in Jamaica and he has a local florida number. I know that they have a local office here in Florida: http://www.netspeakflorida.com/ I was looking into that but Javon doesn't have internet service at home. He's looking into how much the internet cost down there but I personally don't think it's worth it. I'll get more information about it from my dad, but I remember him telling me that you can bring the unit to the US and use it here. When I get more info, I will let you know. There was another service that I found, but they are out of Canada, but they would ship it to you.
